Staff: The folks here were super nice and very attentive. This is an area they really shine. Quality/Quantity: The food here is okay. We came here with friends as we needed a quick bite. We ordered the 2 beef enchiladas plate, 2 tacos plate, and a banana margarita. The enchiladas were really tasty, the tacos were huge and really good, and the margarita was only okay. Didn't taste much banana flavor but they were fair with the alcohol within which I liked. Value: Fair with our meal being about $60. Ambiance: It was outdated and in need of a refresh. There is a bar to the left when you enter and then the restaurant seating area is to the right. We saw a security guard walking around. Not sure if they are always here or if it was due to some concern. Overall: The food was ok but I am not sure I'd return if ever I returned to the area. read more

I was in Lancaster and was craving Mexican food. I went to another Mexican food place but it was really dark and the vibe was off. The place had 4.5 stars on yelp which is why I went there. While at the table I looked for other places and came across this place. It had lower stars but they had happy hour and lunch so I gave it a try. When I walked through the doors they were way more welcoming than the other establishment. I was seated right away with fresh chips and salsa brought to me. I ordered the lunch enchilada and tamale and it did not disappoint. I also liked that they had many flavors of margaritas. I got the peach one and I'm a lightweight so one was enough for me. The staff were nice. I would def come back again if I'm in the area. I think I found my new Mexican place in Lancaster. read more

We have ate here twice. About 6 months ago for the beef ribs. They were well cooked, meaty abd good bbq sauce BUT I had to send back for a new order because they were cover in synthetic bbq brush bristles. It was gross. Almost swallowed one. Waiter says oh yeah we know that was happening. Then why the hell not get a new brush!?!?!? Now today we went back for the Mexican buffet & salad bar served every day. Tried it once never again. Half the bowls were empty. No lettuce. Mushroom and cucumber were spoiled. The hot food looked like it had been out since noon. Dried out flautas & Mexican egg rolls. Dried up Mexican rice. Best thing there were the totally over cooked, but in a good way, bbq pork ribs. For less than $19 you can go to El Toreo on Wednesday and have delicious fresh Mexican buffet that is amazing. I am giving 3 stars just for the shrimp cocktail but the Chile relleno it was a good size but it tasted stale not fresh it had a funky flavor and the rice was flavorless as the refried beans. We were very disappointed because when we just moved to Palmdale from Hollywood over 3 years ago the food was excellent, probably they changed the chef? And they have a new one whose not really good. And then our guest ordered a huarache and it was so hard, probably stale as well. Went here for Christmas Day brunch. Customer service was, ehhh. Could be better. Most servers can't be bothered, and if they did, they had an attitude. Breakfast came with bottomless mimosas. Did anyone offer or ask. Nope, can't be bothered. The buffet was unorganized. Syrup was on the other side of where they serve the pancakes. Have to go through people to get to it. Not very efficient. No butter for pancakes. The way you get the breakfast from the buffet made no sense and seemed like it conflicted with food and safety standards. Not sanitary. The place is beautiful and the service is great. Fabiola, our server, would check on us to ask if we needed anything. However, my mom and I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken was rotten. At first I couldn't tell because I put ketchup on it and thought it was the cheese that smelled weird. Once I took a few more bites, I noticed that the foul smell was coming from the chicken. I asked my mom and she agreed that it tasted and smelled horrible so it wasn't just me. We told Fabiola and she asked if we wanted anything else to replace it. But honestly we were so grossed out we lost our appetite though agreed to get a brownie to get the taste out of our mouths. They charged us for the salad that we got and my mom asked for a receipt but they said they didn't give receipts. We asked for their card and they didn't have one either. My mom insisted and then Fabiola said she would ask the manager. We spoke to him about it because of our concern that we didn't want that to happen to anyone else. Someone could get seriously sick by eating something like that. I have a friend who was in a coma from eating salad with salmonella. I hope this experience will help them be more cautious in the way they prepare their food. read more
