After yo-yo dieting for a while, I decided to give "Medslim" a try. On June 25, 2018 I came in weighing 149.6 pounds with 32.3% body fat. If I could give negative stars I would. I would not recommend this program to anyone I know EVER. I felt I wasted the $1150 dollars I paid to participate in this program and the guarantee was not upheld. Alan took no responsibility in the entire process with me even though I thought I would have some support via text and guidance through the process but nope Alan found ways to blame me when I did not lose the weight that was expected. They know exactly what they are doing and how they plan to justify not giving you your money back if that ends up being your situation. I never heard from Alan unless I reached out to him. Alan told me on our last phone call that it's not his job to do that. Wow, go figure! I'm sorry but for me if I am doing home injections and this is a very strategic "medically scientific program" as you claim then I would think they would at least want to check in on me after I signed up. But no that didn't happen in my case at all. On the first day of my diet, I inadvertently ate a small piece of taffy candy and OMG Alan used that excuse against me along with the excuse that I didn't text my weight every day as the "REASON" that I didn't lose the weight and why they wouldn't give me my money back. Oh and there was a very uncomfortable phone argument that I had to go through to even have a discussion about my overall concerns and performance on this diet. So, heads up.. since I didn't text them my weight everyday even on the days my weight did not go up or down and I ate that small piece of taffy on day one then I have to say bye bye to my hard earned money! Also, when I did try to express my concerns via text to Alan I initially got called and yelled at aggressively by a random guy named Tony who called me because Alan was too busy with another client he was working with lol..go figure ( P.S. don't even know who Tony is, as I never once talked with him throughout the program) but apparently Alan admitted that he told him everything about our text conversations, concerns and process we discussed privately via text, so I wasn't prepared for that disclosure. Anyways, Tony was very angry and aggressively escalated in anger on the call and ended the call by threatening that I would hear from their attorney because I was asking for a partial refund or full refund. Look, this is a place for an honest opinion and my honest opinion is I would never, ever, ever go back there for any type of service, I did not feel comfortable and was not treated well AT ALL. My worst mistake was to give them that much money, I should have known better... my gut told me that very first day I went to sign up that this was probably a bad idea. I also googled the HCG diet and saw the very same meal plan I had just paid $1150 for, for free minus the vitamins and supplements they sell to you as part of the program. To be honest, your only eating 500 calories a day on this diet and you take these injections and some supplements. At 500 calories you are bound to lose some weight eating that low for a period of time. So I can honestly say I don't even know if the injections had anything to do with it or if the low calories made me lose the little bit of weight that I did lose. A proper healthy diet and exercise routine is what I think can really work and if you want a medical program I would suggest seeing a licensed medical doctor for proper medical supervision as I didn't get that here at all from my experience. Bad experience overall... and never again, I've learned my lesson. read more
