Then when I decided to cut my hair, I had Gwen cut and lowlight my hair. Today was my second time going to her for lowlights and she is fantastic! She takes her time and makes you feel comfortable. Not only does she do the lowlights but she makes sure to style your hair how you want so that you leave the salon looking fabulous! The lobby area was clean and neat, and the staff was very friendly. The first thing they did was hand me a clipboard and asked me to fill out a questionaire with all my contact info (cell, email, address, etc) and questions about my skin. The lady doing the facial greeted me, and right off the bat I noticed she had a few large dark splotches on her face. I don't mean to be unkind, but given the nature of her profession I feel this is a relevant observation! The listed price for an hour-long facial was a whopping $85. My facial lasted only 45 min. I had no idea what to expect and found it sorta offputting to be surprised by very hot and very cold things randomly being applied to my face without warning. The highlight of the session was a very relaxing neck and shoulder massage. The main reason for such a low rating is this: Even though I told her I don't have any skin issues other than the occasional need for a good moisturizer, she pushed a chemical peel on me, saying it was the ONLY way to truly get rid of dry skin. WHAT?? Adding that hers is only $30 versus $120 from a dermatologist was not a comforting sales pitch. When the day comes that I want chemicals coming into contact with my face, I'll shell out the $120 thank you very much! One of my girlfriends also went last week, indicated something about pores on her questionnaire, and was also told she needed a chemical peel to address that. Does anyone else sense a disturbing trend here?? Gratuity was automatically added on at 18%, bringing the full price cost of this service to $100. I'm not sure if this was a typical facial, but basically I left relaxed and with the feeling of a borderline greasy face and not much more. If this is all there is to it, I can't help wondering who actually pays for these??

Driving to my appointment, I receive a text 10 minutes before from Chelsea asking me to come 30 minutes later since she was running behind with another client. I confirmed that Ill be there at the time she requested and waited at a nearby Starbucks. 20 minutes later I get another text that her son is ill with the flu and she is also ill. She requested to reschedule for the following week. I called Chelsea and talked to her about the new appointment she assured me that 100% she will not cancel again at the last minute (since I had an event to attend the following week) I rescheduled the appointment for today Friday at 1 PM Once again I confirmed my appointment took another day off work AND - today an hour before my appointment time I received a call from the receptionist at Level eleven claiming that Chelsie had a family emergency and cannot do my hair and that my appointment is canceled! And simply HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!! I called back and asked to speak with the owner and she said the owner will call me back. I did get a call back from the owner Ashley Osborn who claimed that Chelsie only rents a chair there and they are not responsible for her booking. She did apologize and offered a future appointment with another stylist and a discount. I explained that It's not about the money and that unfortunately, I am out 2 days of work and my event is tomorrow morning, so this is very upsetting. There is no way I can find a stylist at the last minute. The response" she only rents a chair here is unacceptable" Who does that ?? I f I would have canceled last minute twice they would have expected me to pay ....... There is absolutely no excuse for this level of disregard and unprofessionalism. I was not surprised to find out today that this Salon Level eleven used to be called Studio Eclipse Salon (same address same employees) THE NAME AND PHONE NUMBER changed BUT the people are the same (Ashley Osborn, Chelsea Haley ). Regardless of the NEW NAME, you will be dealing with the same stylists AT THE SAME LOCATION, The businesses change their name because of the countless bad reviews ********PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR Before you book an appointment with CHELSEA HALEY **** google and read the reviews about studio Eclipse you will find many complaint that Chelsea cancels her appointments last minute and provides horrible service !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
