Newer place in town taking over for the acropolis diner. I liked the vibe in here. It is affordable homemade breakfast classics. I tried the pancakes and they were spot on. The turkey club was done right. The onion rings also hit. The omelettes were hefty and good. They have a good amount of seating so you should find a spot and they have a parking lot. Check it out.

Robin's Nest recently opened in the space where Acropolis used to be, and I tried it today for the first time. The owner has put a lot of work into cleaning the place up and it is very cute, both inside and out! Our waitress, Millie, used to work at Acropolis and she is fantastic. My friend has been there a couple times since it opened and Millie greeted her immediately by name with a cup of coffee made just how she likes it. So nice and always quick to respond and make sure all is good. I had the veggie omelet with whole wheat toast and coffee, and it hit the spot. The omelet was cooked perfectly with lots of vegetables and the coffee was nice and warm. I also liked the homefries that were served with it. Nothing fancy here, but a great local spot with good food and good prices.

Best breakfast in the area, plenty of options and the kids plate was awesome. Love the atmosphere, old style diner vibe.

This place is located on the corner and parking appears to be street parking only. I stopped by around 11:30 and was able to be seated immediately. They have bar seating which is first come first serve as well as tables throughout. Bar seating was much quicker. After about 5 mins my waitress came and took my order. Challah French Toast, Homefries and Bacon. 15/20 minutes go by and my food came. The Homefries are a good portion. They are seasoned well. The bacon was warm and crispy as well. The challah French toast was delicious. I enjoyed my meal overall. Overall this is a good place that met my expectations. The food was as expected and the portion size was good as well. They do charge a fee for using your card as shown on my receipt. A tad bit tacky to me but I understand.

The food was delicious from a very creative menu. Loved the music. The reason I rated 3-stars is because I was really looking forward to visiting for quite some time. It's a 30-minute drive and I visited on a Sunday at 1pm. They close at 3pm. The first thing I asked for was the French toast. They stated that they were out of French toast. Next I asked for Lobster Benedict. They ran out of lobster. The lobster, I can understand. It's seafood. You want it to be fresh and also I think it was a special that day. But how does a brunch restaurant run out of French Toast on the busiest brunch day of the week and you have 2 hours of service left? Not a good impression at all and I was very disappointed. If I wasn't so hungry, I would have walked out. I settled for the Liam's Favorite pancakes which was good and very filling, but I just wasn't in the mood for pancakes. Seasoned potatoes were good. Drinks were also good. Had the Dulce de Leche Cafe. Also this place is BYOB if you want to bring a bottle for mimosas. I would return here, but only if I am conveniently in the area.

The hotel is beautiful and it felt like every single piece of furniture and decorations were chosen intentionally. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the phenomenal, friendly and attentive service from manager Emily. Truly a gem of a person, and made sure everything we needed was available. Would also like to highlight that Emily reached out even before our stay begun to ask if we needed anything upon arrival or had any questions. All requests were met and Emily was prompt to answer all questions. I would highly recommend The James Bradley to anyone thinking of visiting. If you're looking for a quick vacation out of this city, this is the place, so easy to get to, the town has wonderful restaurants/bars and the beach was beautiful (even if it was too cold to hang out). And the soft boiled eggs we chose were either cooked too hard or way undercooked. The yogurt and fruit was delicious! Our server was great.

I ordered a Shrimp Po' Boy and it was by far the best Po'Boy I have had outside of New Orleans, and might have even been better than the one I had there too. The interior has that "hole in the wall" vibe with just a few tables and a few stools at the counter. The food is being made just feet away from wear you're sitting and it creates a homey vibe. The locals seem to love the place as several stopped in to either eat or chat with the two women working. I do believe they have outdoor seating at picnic tables. Overall, this place is an absolute gem and i'll definitely be back when we return to Belmar, NJ.

It's cash only or Venmo, which I find its pretty normal for smaller local spots. The thing about this location was that it reminded me of Maine, the walls are painted this beautifully brilliant blue with nautical inspired decor. My favorite was the fishies above a fishing boat, which I had to take a snap of. I ordered 3 eggs over medium, with rye, and a side of bacon. The eggs were still a bit too runny, but its a standard breakfast. I want to go back and to sit there because the staff were super nice. If I lived closer then I'd prolly be here all the time. I saw a reviewer complain about the sign showing open, but they weren't. Honestly businesses making that mistake all the time, but to point it out is just whatever. Highly recommend stopping by here early because I have a feeling they're super busy with the locals.
