I come to meet fresh whenever I'm craving a more traditional Taiwanese dessert that isn't boba (though their drinks are great too!) what I really love here is the grass jelly ice bowls and the shaved ice. The grass jelly ice comes with creamer that you pour in that makes it super yummy! There is something for everyone and in every weather though - hot silken tofu sweet soups and hot almond drinks for the winter, and huge refreshing shaved ice bowls with ice cream for the summer. They have the more traditional taro/sweet potato ball toppings that are super chewy and delicious, but also fruity flavors like strawberry and mango. It was a refreshing treat and nice when it's hot out. Located in the hmart plaza next to tea top and another dessert shop. Spacious store with lots of seating. I visited on a Thursday night half an hour before closing. there were several parties inside sitting at the tables, and it was pretty loud There were a lot of people in line, so I went somewhere else hoping the line would die down by the time I came back. I had ordered dinner to go from the restaurant next door, waited for the food to be made, grabbed it, returned to Meet Fresh, and the line was as long as it was when I first saw it. They were about to close in 15 minutes, so I decided to wait in line while I still could. The line moved pretty slowly, which is usually not good, but it gave me time to pick which drink to order. I ordered the Tofu and Caramel Pudding Milk Tea with no ice. I guess the cashier did not hear my request for no ice, because my drink was full of it. I drank it pretty quick, but the ice still melted a little and watered down my drink. As for the toppings, I am not sure which one was the caramel pudding, because one felt like a mushy tofu, and the other had no flavor. I had a some of the white pudding leftover after finishing the milk tea, and I really could not taste the pudding when eating it by itself. Of course I always get the Egg Waffle. They have so many different options for egg waffle flavors such as chocolate, matcha and you can add Ice Cream. They have a wine selection of boba tea, slushy and fresh milks. But, my go to is definitely Mixed Fruit Slushy because it's made it with passion fruit, Mangos and lemons. read more

Yay!!! Both Meet Fresh and Top Tea were on my list to try. I walked into Top Tea and just didn't love the vibe and the menu didn't immediately pique my interest so I decided to walk next door to Meet Fresh. SO GLAD I DID! Meet fresh smelled yummy and had much better options to me. It has indoor dining and was bright, open, and lively. There were plenty of people sitting at the tables having tea and desserts and chatting. We got the black sugar boba milk tea and black tea. We weren't staying, so we ordered and waited by the bar. The drinks came out in under 10 mins and the black sugar was much better than I had tried in another highly rated boba spot in ATL. Review of the black tea was "it's good" but doesn't hold a favorite title. I'll definitely come back here and try the shaved ice and other desserts come summer. read more

This is a cool place that serves asian desserts like shaved ice and egg waffles. I got the QQ Mini Milk Tea and a dessert bowl with grass jelly base plus almond pudding and lychee jelly. Be wary that one of those bowls is definitely enough to feed at least 2 people. The almond pudding is so good. Grass jelly is a good base in case you don't like things too sweet as it has a very light flavor with actually a bit of a bitter aftertaste. The QQ Tea didn't look like what was in the picture to be honest or maybe I just ordered it wrong. The QQ topping seems just like mini boba but with the texture of taro balls. Glad we stopped by here on our last day during our trip to Atlanta. We were looking for a something unique and we haven't tried before. We found this Taiwanese dessert place and ordered the Taro Paste Volcano Shaved Ice. The dessert is a little pricy but it is also huge. There were four of us sharing this sweetness. The shaved ice was a nice new experience and there were so much different kinds of toppings like chewy boba, red beans, caramel pudding and then topped with vanilla ice cream. I've been here multiple times but really haven't tried their milk tea because it's mainly known for their sharing desserts. I really love their iced bingsus! However, I got the fluffy jasmine green milk tea, and it was solid rich jasmine green milk tea but the "fluffy" part was offsetting. My low rating is associated with the service. We got the shaved ice with mochi and it's a giant tower of ice with a tiny scoop of ice cream on top. It is served on a plate which is on a tray. When we brought it back to our table and moved the plate the ice cream fell on the ground. Clearly it's not very secure. Anyways we went and asked if they could replace the scoop. They said no they don't replace scoops, that we would have to buy a whole other dessert and then my husband asked two more times and they said fine we will give you a scoop for $1. Bad customer service. From a flavor perspective, it was ok. Not enough milk on the ice. And the mochi was not the best I've ever had. I won't be back. read more

**Review is a 3.5** Meet fresh is a new Taiwanese dessert shop located in the same strip as tea top, sweet spot, etc. Having recently opened, my sister and I decided to try it out since neither of us ever really had these particular desserts. There was a line when we went but if moved relatively fast. While waiting in line, we both browsed through the menu to decide on our dessert. We wanted to try their signature q mochi pudding but unfortunately, they were out of the mochi when we were there. Instead, we opted for the popular icy grass jelly and the oolong milk tea. Several minutes after ordering, it was ready for pickup at the counter. We immediately dug into the dessert to see what the hype was about. My first thought was the level of sweetness. It wasn't as sweet which I definitely liked. Then I dug in for my ice and it was quite refreshing. We did forget to add the milk in at first but we could've gone on without it. We also tried it together with the mochi but it was sort of meh. I would rate this 3.5/5. There's not much to say in regards to the oolong milk tea as it's the typical tea that can be found in any boba place. I rate this 3.5/5. Overall, we'll come back again since there's a lot of other desserts on the menu that sounds pretty interesting. Meet Fresh is new to the H-Mart strip. We stopped by with a group of friends Memorial Day weekend after having dinner at Shoya (definitely recommend this place). The line wasn't long, but the menu felt extensive and kind of overwhelming for those who are new to Asian desserts. My friend ordered the Q mochi milk shaved ice and I ordered the milk tea with red beans. After you place your order, you're given a buzzer so you can find a seat and wait until it buzzes. It didn't take long for our order to be made. The milk tea with red beans was tasty. However, if you're expecting an overly sweet tea, you're not going to find it here. It was more savory than sweet. My friend's shaved ice was HUGE and was pretty delicious. We split it between 5 of us and still didn't finish it. The shaved ice was made with condense milk and oh so delicious. The mochi's were ok. Definitely good mochi, but not my preference. I felt that overall, it was an ok experience. I'll probably come back and order a red bean soup in the fall or come back for another shaved ice with a group of friends. The atmosphere wasn't cozy, but felt more like a hip cafeteria. MY FAVORITE DESSERT PLACE IN ATLANTA I am so glad this place opened up. I cannot recommend this place ENOUGH. I come here at least once every time I visit. It's a great place to bring a group of friend and share the big shaved ice. they have pre-made selection but my boyfriend and I always do a build-your-own. We love all the bean toppings, as well as herbal jelly and ice cream. The cream that they pour onto the shaved ice is a little too sweet for me, so I usually ask for them to put less syrup. Service is fast - you pick up an electronic buzzer when you order, and it buzzes when your food is ready. It has always taken ~5 minutes for me and they've never made my order wrong. The Doraville H-Mart was just a ghost town, beside the supermarket and Shoya. And now (early 2019), the whole plaza is almost fully occupied, you can not even find a parking lot on a weekend evening! That means a growing and thriving Asian community is RIGHT NOW in the great Metro Atlanta ( I'm also looking at you, smart GT, Emory, GSU and even UGA Asian students =) since the market needs keep rising, strongly. Ever since a Meet Fresh opened up in my college town (Go Heels!) literally few months after I moved to Atlanta, I've been obsessed with this place. The day that I saw that a Meet Fresh was opening up here, I'd say I almost cried tears of joy. My favorite thing about Meet Fresh is how authentic and fresh their desserts are. The menu can definitely be overwhelming at first, but my favorite has to be the Signature Icy Grass Jelly, with added Sesame Rice Balls. So good! I want to try their other options as well, but I feel like I can never visit Meet Fresh without getting the Signature Icy Grass Jelly. Coming in to around $8 for a bowl ($9-$10 if you add toppings), it's definitely on the more expensive side. However, the portions are huge and are big enough to split between two or three people for dessert. In addition to shaved ice desserts, their menu also includes hot soups (beans, pudding), and boba teas (both milk and fruit tea). My friend got the Wintermelon tea with grass jelly and it was deliciously sweet with a hint of herbal from the jelly. I went here on a Saturday afternoon, and it was packed. The line was moving kinda slowly, but it makes sense since they just opened a week or two ago and need to work out some kinks. Each dessert probably takes about 10 minutes to come out. Considering that they hand-make each from scratch, I'm 100% okay with waiting that long. I can't wait to come back-I'm estimating about once a week after grocery shopping at H-Mart heh. Pros: - They have a huge selections on the menu from boba tea, shaved ice to sweet bean desserts. - Many varieties of toppings, my favorite is sweet potato taro ball and taro. - The restaurant is very spacious and clean. Cons: - Most desserts are lack of flavors. For example the tofu ginger dessert was bland and the tofu was not silky enough. - The shaved ice was not fine and taste like American icy snow cones. - Boba teas definitely can't compete with Kung Fu Tea's flavors. - The service isn't great. If one dish has a sold out topping, they remove the item from menu and not let you substitute even if you accept to pay more for additional topping. I also have same experience as some other yelper here, they make my order incorrect, but took my pager away so the remake item ended up waited on the counter. Conclusion: If I'm craving shaved ice, I will go back to Suno for sure. And I think Kung Fu tea still at the #1 spot for boba tea. Personally I wish Meet Fresh can focus on perfecting each dishes more, even that means reducing the number of items on the menu. read more

Foods were exactly as same perfect as their other locations. The waiting line was so long when I were there on Saturday night, but moved quickly than I thought. Expected 20 mins to wait during the weekend. Strongly recommend the Winter Melon Tea w/ mini taro ball! Just the same taste as my childhood memories.
