Located next to Hmart, it's easy to find and the area is quite competitive. They have had take out only for a very long time since the start of Covid but finally opened for seating in a small area of the restaurant. I went in and ordered a black sugar boba with milk and also a boba pudding. The pudding had no flavor whatsoever. Pretty bland and I thought there would be some kind of sugar (like a flan, or custard pudding I was hoping for) but nothing. The pearls/boba on top was nice and chewy. I only wanted to try it at the store and also asked for a to go cup for it but the employee kept telling me "it's so small you don't need one".. well, that's not what I asked and I shouldn't have to eat all of it if I don't want to, I just simply said ok and walked away. It left a poor taste in my mouth for her to tell me no and justify why she wouldn't give me a little box for it. Drink was pretty good. Lots of boba in it. Flavor of the drink itself was good. I'm obsessed with this place. Meet fresh serves Asian desserts that are the perfect combination of refreshing, satisfying, and not too sweet. I've tried their boba, grass jelly, and shaved ice, and they are all amazing. The shaved ice is definitely my favorite with all the different toppings with various flavors and textures. Portion sizes are definitely large enough to share, so it's a great place to go with friends for dessert! Meet Fresh has always peaked my interest, especially since I didn't even realize I had been to one before in Taiwan. Meet Fresh wasn't on the sign (that I can remember), only 鮮芋仙. The menu is a little different in Taiwan, and the menu at this Doraville location seems a bit more Americanized. Even so, Meet Fresh has joined the dessert ranks of Tea Top and Sweet Spot in the H Mart Doraville plaza. I've been here more than several times now, and the winding lines have since died down, thank god. My favorite desserts to order are pretty cliche, including the Signature Icy Grass Jelly and the QQ Mochi + Pudding Shaved Ice. The grass jelly dessert is a bit steep in price and the half and half creamer seems unnecessary but I LOVE TARO BALLS SO MUCH and it reminds me so much of Taiwan's JiuFen market! There's literally no where else in Atlanta that serves this. And let's be honest, grass jelly is SO cheap and easy to make (according to my mom, so it has been proven) but I'm still willing to pay $7.50 if I can get taro balls and shaved ice with my grass jelly! During the first month, Meet Fresh seemed to be constantly sold out of mochi, but I was happy when I finally got to try it in the QQ Mochi + Pudding Shaved Ice. The QQ Mochi is once again very unique and rare to find in Atlanta. Some people find it a bit herbal and even my mom wasn't a fan, but before I could say "I'll take it" my dad already scarfed it down lol. And that pudding! I love egg pudding and the almond pudding was delishhhh. Just reminds me of home and of Taiwan and it is all very nostalgic! I've had the 8 Treasures Shaved Ice, as well. I'll have to say, this is EXTREMELY Taiwanese, and not necessarily in a good way. It's not very sweet and can be hard for non-Taiwanese patrons, as who else eats barely sweetened beans for dessert?! My dad is a huge fan of this sort of thing - but I'll have to agree that it's not for everybody. We came here as a place to eat an after dinner dessert. And let's just say I would definitely recommend you come here as a group if you decide to get dessert. Why? Because the shaved ice that we got was huge. I mean, if you're paying $10 for it, it better be amazing on quality wise, or a lot in quantity. Meet Fresh does it on quantity with okay quality. We got a red bean and mango(?) jelly shaved ice. The jelly was indistinguishable and really had no flavor at all. I believe it was supposed to be a mango or pineapple jelly? See my hence of memory I don't even remember what it was. The shaved ice leans on the diabetic sweet side, so if you're not really really into sweets I would suggest not to get it. Our party called it quits long before it was finished because ultimately, it was just too much to finish. That being said, if you're in a group of at least 4 (or more) and don't mind sharing one dessert I would say it's definitely worth it. Inside, there's plenty of seating, and the place had modern decor. The restaurant did lack some spoons where we were supposed to pick some up on the counter as it seemed like no one did the dishes? But, I found some closer up to the cash register. If you're not in at least a party of 4 or less if you have a lot of sweet tooth friends, then I would definitely say to get another dessert rather than the shaved ice. We weren't impressed with MeetFresh. Sure, the store and desserts look pretty, but the taste was mediocre at best. If they clean some things up and make some improvements, then this place will probably live up to the standards the brand has set for itself at other locations. This is an international chain of Taiwanese dessert shops that started in Taiwan in 2007. This location, the first in Georgia, opened next to H Mart Doraville in March 2019. The store is spacious and looks nice with a modern, Asian theme. MeetFresh has done a great job branding and marketing themselves as their logo, products (both illustrations and pictures), and store facts are displayed prominently throughout the interior. There's an open kitchen. You order at the counter and are given a pager that lets you know when your order is ready for pick-up. There are plenty of tables and stools, a long banquette, and high tables in the back. The space is good for groups. MeetFresh specializes in both hot and icy desserts usually featuring a combination of shaved ice, grass jelly, taro, taro balls, sweet potato balls, red beans, kidney beans, mung beans, boba (tapioca pearls), tofu pudding, egg custard pudding, almond pudding, and barley. Many of these are the same ingredients/toppings you can get in bubble tea, but here they're served as desserts in bowls that run about $5.80 to $7.50 per bowl. The have dozens of varieties to choose from. When it comes to shaved ice, they have a half-dozen options, most priced at $9.80 each with their "8 Treasures Shaved Ice" at $11.80. They also offer small snacks like mung bean cake (6 pieces for $6) and nougat crackers. The desserts are best shared. I believe most, if not all, of the ingredients are imported from Taiwan. Along with desserts, MeetFresh sells an assortment of teas -- milk, bubble, "fluffy" with a cream layer on top, winter melon varieties, and dark "herbal" teas which the cashier didn't really know how to describe to me. All drinks are one size only, 480 mL or about 16.23 fl oz, and most start around $4.50 and up each. Toppings for both desserts and drinks cost $0.50 to $1.00 each. We went with a couple selections from MeetFresh's "Top 5 Most Selected:" the Signature Icy Grass Jelly ($7.50) and the Taro Ball Tofu Pudding, cold version ($6.80). According to the menu, the Signature Icy Grass Jelly was supposed to come "with complimentary 1 creamer," but we never got one. One of my friends commented that when he went during MeetFresh's soft opening, they left out a basket of creamer and peanut toppings at the pick-up station. We didn't see one during our visit. Without cream, the dessert tasted fine, but obviously not complete. I did think the quality of the ingredients was good. There was a lot of grass jelly and its quality was par for the course, consistent with the grass jelly served at my favorite bubble tea places. Not only did the Signature Icy Grass Jelly have generous portions of grass jelly, but there was a grass-jelly-flavored shaved ice base too. The taro and sweet potato balls in particular had great texture and were appetizingly chewy; however, the Taro Ball Tofu Pudding was disappointing. It was very similar to douhua (or doufuhua), Chinese tofu pudding that is typically served at dim sum. Compared to a proper dim sum version, MeetFresh's take tasted bland. The tofu wasn't as silky smooth and the syrup tasted pretty much like simple sugar water with no noticeable sweet ginger flavor. What an underwhelming waste of calories. The dark, grass jelly color of the herbal teas intrigued me. Since it was hot outside and I wanted something cold, the cashier recommended the Fluffy Icy Herbal Tea with Grass Jelly ($5.50). It was pretty much grass-jelly-flavored shaved ice in a cup served with grass jelly and a layer of cream on top. The ice was so hard that this drink/slushy was hard to drink through the extra-wide boba straw. I know "Icy" is in the drink's name, but it was so icy, there were large pockets of air throughout the cup. Tea Top, next door, knows how to make an excellent slushy with ideal consistency; the kind of slushy you can drink like a drink, through a straw, with no effort. This place has potential and I'm willing to give them another try. Next time, I want to try their shaved ice. One of my friends, who's a regular, likes their red bean milk ice with extra condensed milk, mini mochi, almond custard, and mung bean. At the end of this month (June 2019), MeetFresh is supposed to be getting Taiwanese mango shipped in to make mango shaved ice, so that is probably worth trying too. My group of 11 stopped by after lunch on Mother's Day. The shopping center it's located in stays busy. Parking is plenty, but you may have to park far. Meet fresh was busy, but not packed. We were able to find a table for our group with no problem. There was a line and it was short. I tried the following: Signature Ice Grass Jelly $7.50 8 Treasures Shaved Ice $11.80 Ice Taro Ball #4 $7.50 Wintermelon Milk Tea $5.50 The Signature Ice Grass Jelly comes with taro balls, grass jelly, grass jelly flavored shaved ice and creamer on the side. I tried it without creamer and it was good. I do want to come back and try it with creamer. The 8 Treasures Shaved Ice comes with a tall tower of shaved ice, mung beans, sweet potato, barley, red beans, peanuts, kidney beans, melon jelly, mini taro balls, and ice cream. This was the group favorite! I enjoyed the different textures and the sweetness level. Sweet but not too sweet. The Ice Taro Ball #4 comes with red beans, taro, boba, taro balls, and shaved ice. Although I enjoyed this one, it wasn't my favorite. I felt like it was missing something. I love wintermelon milk tea and try to order it wherever I can. Although theirs was plenty sweet and had good flavor, I've had better elsewhere. Everybody enjoyed their desserts, even the ones who were new to this type of dessert. Came here last night for some milk tea with boba. Parking was easy to find since we were here at about 6:45 pm on a Tuesday evening, and the big, shared and free parking lot at Peachtree Pavilion always has spaces available, even during peak times. There were customers at three tables, and this place could accommodate a lot more people. Some of the tables are blocked off around the order pick up area, but I didn't look any further than that to see if any tables were blocked off in the rest of the seating area. This store currently requires mask wearing by everyone. The taciturn employee at the order counter spoke only when it was necessary, and when she did speak, I heard her through a loudspeaker (with emphasis on loud). The speaker volume didn't have to be so loud; for gosh sakes, I wasn't outside at a drive thru! I know the plexiglass barrier makes it difficult for the employees to hear the customers and vice versa, but the employee doesn't have to necessarily hear herself through the speaker. From what I saw and felt, Meet Fresh is clean, and, I felt it was a sterile, energy-less space - not really someplace I'd sit and stay for awhile. After I paid for the drinks, the employee gave me a disk, the kind that lights up when your order is ready. I'm not sure why they hand out the disks when they could just call out your order number through their loudspeaker. I gave the disk to R, and, while I was taking pics, he came back with the drinks. I really didn't feel like staying here, because of the empty vibe. The drinks were made as we requested - mine with less ice and 50% sugar, and R's with less ice and less boba. I realized I should've ordered mine with only 30% sugar, since 50% was still sweet to me. The milk tea itself was good (albeit sweet); however, the boba balls were small and soft. Although the boba from here didn't/couldn't get stuck in the straw, I prefer boba that is firmer and chewier than what we got at Meet Fresh. I felt this experience was just OK. read more

After walking past meet fresh many times in the past, I finally decided to try it with some friends. We got 2 shaved ice and the portions were so big that even sharing with our large group was difficult! The mixed mochi shaved ice was delicious with the condensed milk and various jellies and rice cakes. My favorite however was the strawberry shaved ice as the strawberry flavor was well distributed throughout and not just on top of the dessert like many places. I'll always make sure to leave some space to stop by Meet Fresh after grabbing a meal from one of the other restaurants. My favorite thing to get is the shaved ice, specially the Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice since it allows you to try the most toppings on your shaved ice! The servings are huge, and we're usually able to share the shaved ice between 3-4 people. I've also tried their soup desserts, but haven't liked them as much. I ordered 2 drinks, Black Sugar Boba Milk Tea and Mixed Fruit Green Tea with lychee jelly. The Black Sugar Boba Milk Tea was pretty good! It is certainly not the best I have tasted, but it was still good. The boba pearls was the right texture, and it was sweet. The Mixed Fruit Green Tea with lychee jelly was okay. I was told the fruit mix is passionfruit, mango, and lemon. However, I'm not sure it had passionfruit in it at all. Maybe it wasn't enough is all. It was a lot bitter than I expected, but the lychee helped with the bitterness. Overall, great place and environment. They're not known for their drinks though. They are known for their dessert bowls in which I did not get a chance to try since I'm actually not fond of the dessert. They make it look so good, I may come back to try it. read more

There's not a lot of dessert places that give me a super wowing 1st impression. Hearing about this place from friends was one thing, but I can definitely say I personally enjoy their desserts as well. I had the fluffy oolong tea. The tea had a super discernible taste. Though one friend had expressed her lack of interest in the drink selection, I could really taste the tea and rather enjoy it. One thing about their drink is that they don't fill the tea all the way up to the brim. It was only the fluffy cream that reached the brim. Even Starbucks with their overpriced coffee would fill the drink up to the line with any extra cream to be reserved for the dome cap. Just a slight observation... The hubs and I shared the icy grass jelly #6, and it was delicious! The #6 was the only option without any kidney, mung, or red beans. It's safe to say beans aren't my thing. The jelly noodle and melon jelly were two really interesting items. Even their snow at the every bottom was flavored. I'm a sweet tooth kind of gal while the hubs is the opposite. We found the #6 pleasing on both palates. It was also the perfect sharing dessert for two. Def a winning choice. Psst. If you dine-in, it appears that the bowl holds slightly more than their to-go containers. They also have their grass jelly options in a hot version. We shall "meet" soon enough. SO DISAPPOINTED! I cannot tell you how excited my wife was to try this place, especially after we saw it was coming soon. So when we saw it was opened, we of course had to try it out. First off, there was a very long wait to place the order. I'm surprised they didn't have 2 registers to make the lines move faster. Secondly, after we placed our orders, we waited a very long time to get our food and drinks. I noticed at one point that there was an order on the counter that could've been ours because it was 4 bowls and 2 drinks. But someone else came and grabbed ONE of the trays. About 10 mins later, they called us up. And oddly enough, one of the trays WAS in fact ours. They had just left it sitting on the counter for 10 mins...2 hot orders and 2 drinks. So of course one of the "hot" orders was no longer hot. And one of the order that was supposed to be hot was an iced order! They not only messed up the order, but it had already started to melt. When I informed them of the mistake, I believe all they did was throw it in the microwave to heat it up. The most disappointing thing was the red bean tea. It tasted awful! I had my wife try it too to make sure, and she thought the same. So I took it back and asked if they could make it sweeter. They did add some liquid sugar to it, which helped a little. But it still wasn't as good as I was hoping, or as good as I've had at many other bubble tea shops. This place is SO packed right now, I almost want to give it not as good a rating to keep people from swarming the place . But truth: it is SO GOOD. You order up front and get a buzzer. Enjoy the free WiFi. I don't want to sound cliche, but this might be the best Asian dessert place I know right now. Their quality, selection, and ambiance are pretty nice. The crowd is semi-annoying, and prices can be a bit high for certain things. But, it's actually worth it. My orders came out in ceramic bowls, with stainless steel soup spoons (!!! Very considerate move). I would want to bring friends or parents to this joint, as the taste is quite authentic. It feels Taiwanese! If you like grass jelly, red bean, mochi, tofu dessert (dou hua)....this is YOUR place. It looks like everything is a variant of each of the above. The crowds/long line is annoying now, but it will die down hopefully. I had a lovely experience going to MeetFresh, and was more than happy with my order of Taro Milk Shaved Ice! This has been all the hype with all my friends about having this Asian dessert chain come to Atlanta! I think some of the current reviews are a bit harsh with the long lines and waiting orders but please note this place JUST opened (about a week ago!) I went yesterday at around 9pm and there was no waiting line, although the seats were pretty filled, so it's all about timing. The menu has a multitude of options and I can't wait to try more of them! Shaved ice, mochi dishes, puddings, teas, etc. You can either wait on the line or take a menu and find a seat and when you're ready go up to order. I was satisfied with the waiting process and having a buzzer to let us know when the dish was ready for pick-up at the front - very convenient. My shaved ice was deliciously amazing - a scoop of ice cream, creamy milk flavor, good amounts of taro and other boba scattered around. My friend and I shared this hearty dessert and we had gulped it all down in no more than 5 minutes! I would definitely make sure to take into account the type of dessert-eater you are. I have a sweet tooth rather than savory so the shaved ice was perfect for me, although I don't loooove the taro nor would I get it if it were solely taro balls for instance. And their hot grass jelly...it's out of this world. Also equally as addicting with the same delicious toppings, it's super authentic and such a rare find! I really enjoy their peanut mochi ($1). I was so excited to try the mango shaved ice only to find that its seasonal from may to october. It makes sense but I will have to wait. The q mochi shaved ice was delicious and big enough for 4 to 5 people to share. I think it was $13 but delicious and refreshing. The mochi and rice cakes go so well with the shaved ice milk texture and ice cream. We tried drinks too which were about $5. The jasmine milk tea was good. Tried the fluffy herbal grass jelly but I think it was too herbal for me. My friend liked it but I sont think I'd get it next time. Just preference! Inside, there is a ton of space. It has a modern feel, and seems like a great place to study as there are many large tables. Though there was a vaguely salty/sweaty smell inside... I got the black sugar boba milk tea. I like how they have options for sweetness, and for real milk vs reg milk tea (cow's milk vs alternative milk). The order came out pretty quick and was just what i expected. It was creamy, sweet, though a but cloying/artificial. There was minimal ice and I couldn't even finish the whole thing, so great volume. Next time i come here, id definitely try out the desserts which look like the star of the show read more

i've always loved chinese shaved ice (the soft layered kind) and korean bingsoo, but have seen meet fresh pop up in so many cities. my friend and i decided to come here on a wednesday afternoon post-lunch. it's in the same huge plaza as h-mart (right next to tea top, my favorite boba spot!). in my opinion, you come to meet fresh for the dessert bowls, not the milk tea. they are open indoors now--it is very large with a lot of seating. you order at the counter, they hand you a buzzer, and you go pick up your tray when it;s ready. // order // SIGNATURE ICY TARO BALL - our bowl came with shaved ice, boba, taro balls, and taro paste. the shaved ice seems to be coated in brown sugar/some sort of sweet syrup. this was my first time trying a dessert of this sorts. the boba was good and chewy, the taro balls were also really chewy (couldn't taste much of a taro flavor though). the taro paste was interesting, it definitely tasted like taro and the texture was kind of grainy. overall, it was enjoyable. but i definitely prefer the bingsoo or avalanche shaved ice that is flavored and really soft. this ice is gritty and aside from the syrup poured on the top, once you get toward the bottom it is just plain ice. also, this dessert came out to be $10.50 (which we shared, but imo the price is a bit steep for what it is--ice and a few toppings). i would come here if you know you like red bean, taro, this type of shaved ice etc. otherwise for dessert or milk tea, i will definitely be choosing tea top next door over meet fresh for now on! read more

After lunch at a nearby restaurant, my friends and I stopped at MeetFresh for dessert! The restaurant was clean and service was friendly, though a little slow despite it not being too busy. My boyfriend and I split the MangoBerry Milk Shaved Ice and loved it! Forget the texture you're used to in snow cones with large, hard granules -- this Taiwanese shaved ice is soft, light, and flaky (and covered in sweet condensed milk), it melts in your mouth. The dessert is beautifully prepared with mango and strawberries on each half, and a hefty scoop of vanilla ice cream to top it off. Let me be clear -- this dish is HUGE and could serve 4 easily. Between just 2 of us, we didn't get very far. I thought the shaved ice was a 5/5, but unfortunately my friends who ordered boba were disappointed in the texture and found it too sweet/syrupy, so I'm giving it overall a 4/5. read more

Now that the weather is crisping up, notions of Taiwanese import Meet Fresh's almond soup have been drifting into my head. It's drinkable delicious comfort. The almond soup is only offered during colder months. There are a couple of preset options but if you customize your own soup (~$6 for the base) with beans, boba, jelly noodles, and such, it can add up quickly. But at least it's an ideal size for sharing. Pleasing almond flavor and not too sugary either. I tried the fluffy winter melon tea with mini taro balls ($5.50). Not sure I'm too wild about fluffy in general; there's kind of a salty milk aspect to the beverage. The mini taro balls were totally fine. The almond pudding and peanut & sesame mochi ($4.75) which were okay but not enthralling.  I definitely need a dose of almond soup again soon! read more

Since they are only open for takeout, we decided to order a pudding and mochi milk shaved ice for takeout. There is a small area to wait for your order, and a self-serve napkin dispenser. Unfortunately, I think their portion sizes have significantly decreased, as you can't fit a shaved ice mountain into a to-go container. Nonetheless, the sweet treat was enough for four people to comfortably enjoy. I really like the ingredients that they put into their shaved ice orders; their mochi/rice cakes add a nice chewy consistency, while the flavors of their pudding add a rich sweetness. I did find the bottom of the shaved ice cup to be too sweet -- it basically tasted like straight condensed milk. However, I think the flavors would mix better, if all the ingredients weren't stuffed in a small to-go cup. I would definitely recommend trying their shaved ice, but possibly waiting until conditions are safer to dine in. read more

Great selection of unique desserts and teas. If you want to try something unusual this is the place for you. I tried the Winter Melon Tea and the Taro Paste Volcano Shaved Ice. Both were wonderful. The Winter Melon Tea was very refreshing and the Shaved Ice dessert was super fun. It has several different textures and flavors. I loved the Taro, Taro Paste, and Caramel Pudding. I'm not a big fan of Red Beans so I just avoided that part. The serving was gigantic so bring someone along and share. The atmosphere and service were both great. I can't wait to come back and try something else the next time I'm in town. read more

The foods amazing and so is the service though takes kinda long but is soooo worth it (the waffles are amazing get those). Love the chocolate chip egg waffle. It is very different in all amazingly good taste and quality. read more

This was my first time having asian/oriental tea in the ATL here. My friend brought me here after suggesting it and stating it was so good and it most definitely did not disappoint! I had the Passion Fruit Tea and was really good! Kinda costly for tea, but definitely worth the splurge every now and then. It wasn't too sweet to me, just right! They offer a ton of other options on the menu, but we opted for the tea. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area. It's next to H Mart, Big Daves Cheesesteak and many other restaurants and bakeries in the area so you definitely can make it an adventure. read more

Great place for a cool and refreshing dessert. The lines get long though, especially on weekends. The taro paste here is authentic, creamy, and fresh, and the dessert bowls are pretty generous. Brown sugar shaved ice was great, the best part being the strong tea flavor that came with it. I was expecting only milk and brown sugar, but the milk tea flavor is refreshing and flavorful. read more

When I go there... I want to like it but I just don't!! Their shaved ice type desserts just feels like I need liquid!! It's like eating bubble tea toppings without the liquid tea in it. Pre-pandemic, this place was really good, especially most of the menu items and overall cleanliness. Now, it's mediocre at best compared to prior experiences. Not that clean anymore. The place feels a bit old. But I especially I didn't like that the spoons were soaked in cold water right before they hand it to you. Herbal tea here is delicious, I'm sure it's made of grass jelly and it's the only drinks I ever wants to drink now. I tried their ice shaved before Covid-19 happens. It's A LOT, my friend and I share it and toward the end I kinda have to finish it off. I personally don't like taro ball, it's viscid, and kind of like boba, except it's way harder to bite through. Their grass jelly is great too, it's soft and a slight bitter taste and the smell is good. P/s: this is a long time ago. read more

Thank you for introducing fresh to Atlanta. The desserts at Meet Fresh are incredibly refreshing; a treat that doesn't feel like a cheat. Pictured here is the Icy Taro Ball #2, which is shaved ice topped with bobas, taro balls, sweet potatoes, & barley. Not pictured but an absolute favorite of mine is the tofu pudding with taro balls (served cold). This was my third time at Meet Fresh. The first time was an intentional visit, the second two times I wanted to check out desserts nearby but couldn't resist the temptation.
