My mom wanted a hot drink and also didn't want to feel left out of the boba drinking experience so the Boba Hot Almond Drink at Meet Fresh was perfect lol. Not really my vibe, but the drink had strong almond essence and was comforting. Pretty spacious, lots of seating available. Service was fast. There's more than enough parking available. 7/10 would maybe recommend, I'd need to try more drinks here.
Meet Fresh is a chain that specializes in Taiwanese desserts and drinks! This one is located in the H Mart Doraville plaza so there is a good amount of parking and lots of places to checkout nearby. There is a lot of seating inside, ambiance is usually quiet unless there is a family with young kids, and service was pretty quick. I got the Passionfruit Green Tea. I believe the sugar level is fixed, but I did not like my drink too much as it tasted a bit bitter and not too sweet. I fear I am all for artificially sweet drinks. I have tried the desserts before, like the shaved ice, but I am not a fan of their desserts as I think it tastes too herbal-y and traditional for me. I know a lot of people like Meet Fresh so do not let my review scare you. To each their own!
I've had this in Chicago and was happy to find it in Atlanta too. The cashier was friendly and told me the to go option was a bit smaller so may be what I want when I said I wanted the brown sugar boba milky shaved ice, but thought it was too big. He was right, the to go version was perfect. The dessert is rich and creamy and has multiple different components. It's hard not to finish it, but I thought I'd actually get sick if I at the whole thing. The shop is always busy and all the desserts look delicious! I will def be back!
This is one of my go to places in Doraville for dessert. I got the pudding and Q mochi shaved ice. It's consistently good and hits every single time! It's creamy, cold, and the mochis are perfectly chewy. I would say large is big enough to share between 4 people! The staff is nice and answers all your questions. They have lots of seating and great for big groups as well!
Larger than my head, I didn't expect how large the q mochi milk shaved ice would actually be. And yet, i couldn't get enough of the textures and flavors - the shaved ice paired perfectly with the mochi. Luckily i came with friends so they were able to help me finish this special sweet treat. I'd never had anything like this before, but I think it was the start of an obsession.
I love Meet Fresh and have been to multiple locations across the US. Love their tofu pudding. This location looks and tastes just like all the other ones. I was mainly disappointed by the wait. Ordered online and was there during the expected pick up time. Unfortunately I had to wait an additional 20 minutes since they were busy and apparently they did not even see my online order until I pointed it out and then they started processing it. I wish they compensated for the wait, it should typically be fast for desserts or drinks.
Meet Fresh is always a craving for me. I love the double taro signature. The mixture of the cold ice cream with the warm taro is chef's kiss. The grass jelly is refreshing paired with the shaved ice. The inside could be cleaner however, as I normally have to wipe down the table from previous customers myself. I haven't encountered a clean bathroom either.

I stopped by here with some friends after grabbing dinner at a nearby restaurant and it was the perfect sweet treat to end my day. Meet Fresh had a variety of teas and bowls, both filled familiar Asian flavors. I wanted to try out the matcha waffle but decided on the chocolate and it think I made the right choice. There was creamy chocolate in each crunch and the ice cream paired wonderfully. I also got a hot almond drink which was sort of a sweet milk. I definitely would like to bring it home and mix it with some espresso, but I'll save that for next time!

A very unique dessert that I got recommended. So glad I tried it! I absolutely love the icy Taro ball with lychee jelly and boba is delicious. If you like boba, this would definitely be my recommendation to try! The cafe is cute and always packed! read more
We got the mango shaved ice. It was pretty terrible. The mango was hard yellow and sour. There was large ice chunks rather than soft shaved ice. I would not recommend if you are looking for Korean/Taiwanese shaved ice. The wasn't enough condensed milk to even eat 1/3 of the shaved ice.... They say this is a seasonal choice... they should not make this available if mangoes are not ripe and shaved ice are chunky. The ice cream on top of shaved ice was the only soft thing in the entire shaved ice. read more
A clean and bright spot for Asian desserts! They have a wide range of both hot and cold desserts, from warm soup-like bowls to soft tofu pudding to shaved ice towers, all filled with various toppings (red bean, taro, boba). They have pre-set options or you can build your own with custom toppings. I highly recommend the tofu pudding which is good if you're in the mood for a lighter dessert. The shaved ice (red bean with condensed milk) was also exceptional and really great for sharing. The service was efficient and I appreciate that they were open on the days around Thanksgiving. read more

Red bean shaved ice is huge and Instagram worthy but I prefer the Korean ones but that's a personal preference. The one in the picture is large which is $1 more than the medium. My toddler loved the egg waffle. Quality is good but not OMG I must come back for more. It is also very spacious. read more
I've been dreaming of their desserts since I've tried them at another location in Chicago in 2018. Five years later, I find out they have a location in Atlanta and I was overjoyed!!! I was in the area and decided to go there as I was craving their shaved ice dessert. It's a Taiwanese shaved iced dessert place that have lots of shaved ice and other desserts options with like taro, grass jelly, fruit, pudding, mochi, milk tea, bubble waffles, ice cream, etc. Service was decent. I feel that they could have been a little more friendlier but it's fine. The shop was clean, lots of room, plenty of tables and booths, and very bright. I ordered the traditional shaved iced dessert that came with an assortment of toppings like sesame mochi balls, taro mochi balls, tapioca, taro paste etc. It wasn't as good as the one in Chicago. The dessert wasn't as flavorful without the taro paste mixed in but I did enjoy the sesame mochi balls! They were delicious! They forgot to give me a creamer for my dessert and I asked for some and they only gave me one. One is not enough for the entire dessert. Also, they gave me a dirty spoon. Which was not a big deal for me but there was huge chunk of watermelon on one of the spoons. I would give the dessert a 6.5/10. The price point was good for portion size of the dessert! Again, it just didn't hit the same way as it did back then. This is not an overly sweet dessert so don't expect it to be. The presentation of my dessert could have been better, it felt as if they rushed in making it. But I saw other shaved iced desserts that I wanted to try next time! I was curious in regards to the other desserts that I saw other customers eating as some of them looked pretty delicious! Chocolate bubble waffle: 7/10: it's pretty pricey for just the waffle itself. It doesn't come with ice cream or toppings unless you do the deluxe waffle but my friend paid like $7+ just for the waffle itself. The waffle was a decent size but not for that price. The flavor was really good and we loved how each of the waffle ball had a nice coating of chocolate inside that melts in your mouth. Kind of like a lava cake kind of feel! It did take a while for my friend to get her bubble waffle though. Overall, I would come back to try other desserts on their menu. I would get something else as I was not impressed with my dessert. I do like that this location is located next to H-mart. So after you're done, you can chill and relax with an ice cold dessert during the summer. read more
Not bad. The teas here are super super sweet though. I tried 100% one time and it was sickly over sweet. The 50% already is very sweet. We've tried the mango tea and several milk teas here. I wouldn't recommend 100% sugar level unless you really really like a lot of sugar. The egg waffle is really good, even plain. It's perfectly warm and crunchy but soft inside. It's not too sweet either which goes well with a drink that was overly sweet! Order at the front counter and get a table buzzer. When the buzzer goes off, you can go get your items. Tables were kind of sticky. Is this my first choice dessert spot? No. But it's not bad and I wouldn't be mad to return. read more

No matter how full you are, you will always have room for desserts. I haven't tried other desserts or drinks at Meet Fresh but we always stop here for the Mangoberry Milk shaved ice. You order at the register and you get beeping device to let you know when your order is ready. We love getting the mango/strawberry shaved ice. It is a seasonal item do get it while you can. The large size really is huge! Obviously we were already full from dinner but this shaved iced was good to share for the 6 of us. My only complain is that i wish they put some of the syrup inside the shaved ice too because once you eat all the syrup on the outside, it's like you're just eating plain shaved ice. It's a really nice spot to catch up with friends and hang out. read more

This dessert place is always crowded and very popular every time I walk by. The inside is very clean, aesthetic and there is plenty of seating. Even with lots of seats though, it may be tough to find a seat. My friend got the black sugar boba milky shaved ice - I felt like it was way too sweet and that the ice was just literal ice. Other places I've been to have shaved ice that is more creamy and doesn't feel like you are just chewing on ice. This place is not my personal favorite but I am sure that it is constantly crowded for a reason! read more

Customizable, taiwanese dessert shop. You can experiment here to make the food cater to YOUR taste buds, so if it's "too sweet" the first try or "not sweet enough" you'll know how to accommodate yourself in the future by giving them a sweetness percentage with your boba order. Same goes for the shaved ice toppings. I like that you get the flexibility to add to your dessert if you crave something in particular. Things you should know: I. LOCATION Within the Doraville HMart plaza. There's a massive private parking lot out front, but it fills up in the evenings ~ you might have to park far and walk a little. II. Really great but busy place you can sit down or dine in I would say dine it because obviously taste fresh everything that you order comes out street food like in skewers and is seasoned by a pro food takes about 10 minutes to come out because the meat is sliced very thin also have some pretty Interesting choices like chicken foot and lamb but I'm am curious to try , deff a cool place to sit down chat abs have some drinks and a appetizer. read more
Overall 4/5: Great dessert, very fresh! Located inside of the Peachtree Pavilion in Doraville, MeetFresh is a great place to stop in for light and delicious desserts. Dessert 4/5: My boyfriend and I shared the strawberry and mango bingsoo. It was very big, so next time we will definitely get the smaller size. It was the perfect amount of purée and fruit ratio to the shaved ice. Wasn't too sweet or sour. Very refreshing and yummy! Service 4/5: Very friendly and fast. Nothing to complain about. Hailing from Taichung City, Taiwan--- Meet Fresh is another welcome addition to the Atlanta area dessert scene. Dessert dining options are a wonderful way to spend time with friends, instead of going to bars or spending a small fortune on a karaoke room. Meet Fresh specializes in shaved milk ice, tang yuan (sweet dessert soups), and fresh tofu pudding desserts. These types of comforting desserts focus on not only flavor, but a textural experience. By textural experience, I'm mainly referring to their chewy rice cake assortments that are added to their creations. If you are a fan of chewy rice cakes like me, then this will be heaven for you as well. Rice cakes and chewy tapioca are referred to in Taiwan as "QQ." QQ=chewy but also QQ=chewy rice cakes I tried almost all of the QQ items offered. My favorites are the QQ Shaved Ice and the Sweet Tofu with QQ topping. My favorite QQ topping item here is the purple taro stuffed ball. read more
Meet Fresh has shave ice and boba drinks. During pandemic, they only open for takeout. They are popular due to a Karaoke store just above it get a lot of customers. This is typical Taiwanese street food and has a lot to offer. The tarp shave ice is one of the signature item they have. Very similar to Taiwan street food. We got the Taro ball signature ice. The item includes the taro ball, taro paste, boba, shaved ice. It is good dessert. The second item we got is from the drink section. I got the purple rice milk tea. It has the purple sticky rice in it. It is an unique drink that not many place has it. I would give them an A for this item. If you want to try some Taiwanese dessert, this is your place. read more
My sister-in-law suggested that my brother take me to this place. In the Taiwanese Community, when we see things that are related to our heritage, we support it as any other cultures that you grew up in, would. So you can guess how much I missed having shaved ice, street foods like beef noodle soup, rice in a barrel, Chinese donut, sweet soybean milk, xiao long bao, stinky tofu, and oyster omelet. Living in Dawsonville (North Georgia) is not easy, lol. I am adjusting okay and appreciating the friendliness of the Southern people that I meet, as I am continue to grow as a person too. The drive to these type of restaurants are always worth it. Need to be surrounded by different people badly, lol. I went to the location in Cupertino, CA as well. Both location are pretty much the same. Except the price in Georgia is cheaper and a lot more reasonable. They actually have a printed menu instead of staring at you from the Cupertino location and telling you to go and "talk to a digital computer" to make your order. I wasn't impressed about having to strictly order online and making you wait forever at peak hours, so beware of this (normally after lunch). I wanted to particularly write about the price, because I almost ordered a dessert that came out to be $20 at a "none classy restaurant." That is ludicrous. Perhaps, the young people who live or work in Cupertino can afford a tiny little Q-Mochi for $1 a piece. To me, that is absolutely a rip off. Yup, I said it. $1 should consist of at least 5 mochi balls and not just one. It's 50 cents in Georgia for a Q-Mochi. Yeah, doesn't fly with me. Each single little tiny balls of any sort should just be 25 cents. In conclusion, I do love very bite of anything that I ordered from this place, just a bit costly in my opinion. All of the ingredients as you can see are not very expensive and super healthy than other desserts that are available out there. The culture of shave ice is dying. I hope more location will focus on providing this dessert since it's way healthier than an ice cream cone. Lastly, be kind to people who don't speak Chinese that well. No need for attitude or look down on them. Everyone speaks a language their most comfortable in. When we know how to respect everyone for that, makes America even more beautiful. read more

This is a cool spot, they have a good variety of drinks to choose from, there's locations where I'm from but it's pretty scattered so when I saw it here I was like now is finally my chance to enjoy the drinks. Still only to-go the last time we went a week or so ago. Workers are all wearing masks. Perfect place for some refreshing desserts! Icy Grass Jelly #4- the large pieces of taro were good but may have been too much for me imo. Still decent and refreshing! Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice- be prepared. It's a HUGE portion. Highly recommend! It's delicious (but probably definitely more filling than some of their other desserts) Caramel pudding with boba- very yummy and perfect size so you don't feel guiding about can getting something else! We came to Meet Fresh located in the Doraville H-Mart plaza after lunch for a nice treat. There is plenty of free parking, but on a weekend you might walk a bit. With our group of 6, we ordered the Icy Taro Ball Signature and a large Black Sugar Boba Milky Shaved Ice. I paid around $27 after tip and tax I think. Icy Taro Ball Signature wasn't my favorite as the toppings weren't my cup of tea, but the Black Sugar Boba hit the spot and I don't even care for boba really. The ice was mounded with a nice sweetness running through it and it was loaded with toppings. Beware though, this thing is packed with calories. My favorite item from Meet Fresh so far is that almond milk, but unfortunately, that's a seasonal winter item. On this visit, I had a grass jelly slush and honestly, it was just alright. It wasn't particularly amazing, and I'm not sure I'd get it again. I might come back to try their other items in the future as I've heard good things about them. read more

Made a quick dessert stop as I wanted some hot grass jelly. This was a disappointment. It was barely lukewarm. They basically poured warm grass jelly over iced cold bingsu toppings. This caused the grass jelly to coagulate. Also, the bobas tasted like they been out for a bit. read more
