6.7.26 - Haven't been here for a while now but I received an email last Tuesday about their new Peach Guava items. The email said the new items were available starting May 23rd throughout summer. I love guava flavor so wanted to get their Peach Guava Snow Foam and Peach Guava Green Tea. Unfortunately, they did not have any of the new items available at this location so I went with a Wintermelon Milk Tea, a Mango Orange Jasmine Tea (for the next day) and an Icy Grass Jelly Signature. Wintermelon Milk Tea was good! Perfect sugar level and all. Mango Jasmine Tea was a bit sweet at first but I think it was just all the syrup at the bottom. Only drank 1/2 yesterday and the rest today. The dessert was perfect on a hot day. So cold and refreshing. They give 1 creamer but I feel like 2 would be better. I ended up adding condensed milk for more sweetness. A scoop of ice cream would be a great addition as well. It's a decent sized portion and I ate the entire thing! Now craving more grass jelly desserts!
After dinner, my niece recommended that we go to Meet Fresh for dessert. We ordered the Strawberry Milk Shaved Ice which has Strawberries, Strawberry Syrup, Condensed Milk, Ice Cream with Boba and Rice Mochi Balls. It was very unique and delicious. The medium size cost around $15 depending upon the additional toppings; however, it is large enough to share with 2 people. The counter service was friendly. The restaurant is clean; however, the decor is nothing special. The table next to us ordered the Mango Milk Shaved Ice and that looked great too.
We were craving a cold refreshing dessert, so we decided to stop by. Inside the shop was empty on a Wednesday afternoon. We looked at their extensive menu and decided on the Double taro signatures which comes with taro balls, double scoops of taro paste, ice cream, grass jelly, grass jelly shaved ice and comes with a small creamer to pour on. We ordered on their self kiosk and it costed around $12. They made our dessert quickly. - it came out within 5 minutes. We both really enjoyed it. It was not overly sweet. I loved the dessert, but my favorites were the taro paste, grass jelly shaved ice, and ice cream. We shared it because it is definitely a lot for just one person. Both of us ate it until we were satisfied. Definitely a place I would come back to. Parking was easy - located in 99 ranch plaza.
A great sweet treat for those hot summer days. There's so many different Taiwanese desserts that I recommend you try (just go down their menu) and that are so good. I didn't give it 5 stars because a I have been multiple times now and there is always something wrong/off. I don't know if it's due to the crowdedness or being relatively new, but I have had very messy bowls, missing items, and one time an absurdly low ice to topping ratio. Otherwise, the flavors are really good. Ambiance-wise, it is a nice open space, but due to it's popularity, is quite packed during rush hours and and I do not think it is ideal to do work in because of the noise.
I came here for a drink the other day and decided to try something new. I ordered the taro paste fresh milk tea with brown sugar boba. IT WAS INCREDIBLE!! My new favorite drink!!! I think I will order this one forever.
Honestly, I love this place. I've been coming here since they first opened and the drinks are always good and the desserts are just as tasty. The interior is huge so we always have a place to sit even just to wait for our drinks. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the service. I usually come here at least once a week (I know, it's a problem) and everything single time the service is just okay however I don't really care since I'm just in there to get my favorite drink and head out. But my most recent visit, i just felt unwelcomed. BUT!!! I love my Fluffy Grass Jelly Slush so I will continue to always come back. I fear I am too addicted to this place
I was over at 99 Ranch picking up some last minute items and was thirsty and needed something to drink as had more shopping to do. I pass this place all the time and tonight finally gave it a try. The menu is completely overwhelming and I was pretty much paralyzed as soon as I walked in. I had to focus on what I wanted to order. I opted for the iced bubble milk tea and 25% sugar. Lady at the counter was nice and you get a pager as you wait for your item. This place offers up all sorts of desserts including shaved ice and currently now they have a coconut sago series which looked really good. When I am in the mood for some dessert, will come back here to give it a try. My order was ready pretty quickly and the milk tea was good and I loved that the boba were a bit smaller, but consistency was on point, chewy and fresh, just the way I like them. I definitely will come back here when in the area and want a solid, well made boba milk tea.
Cute lil spot! It was busy with families. We really liked our teas 5/5 Jasmine green tea Pineapple , passion fruit green tea The waffle was a bit doughy in the center for my liking. Which I've had these kind before in the states and Japan. I would definitely want to try again but the one with the chocolate chips. We will be returning during our next date in the plaza! :)
This is another dessert place close to 99 Ranch Market. They have a big selection of desserts to choose from, you really can't go wrong with any thing you order. They are all good. We especially like the mango and strawberry milk shaved ice, the grass jelly signature series, the egg waffles. Besides being a little pricy, no complaints.
My friend and I had lunch nearby so naturally, we had to come to Meet Fresh for dessert. At the time of our visit, I had been craving and thinking about Meet Fresh's grass jelly desserts! I've been to Meet Fresh in Atlanta many times and have always enjoyed their desserts. The space doesn't look big from the outside, and I was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of seating inside. Meet Fresh offers a wide variety of Taiwanese desserts from grass jelly and tofu pudding to shaved ice and milk teas. I knew I wanted a grass jelly dessert, but choosing which one was tough. However, the staff helped me decide on the grass jelly with ube and taro, especially since I had mentioned I love both ube and taro. My friend opted for the mochi shaved ice. Our order was ready within minutes. My friend and I shared both desserts. The grass jelly dessert hit the spot and satisfied my craving! It's refreshing and not too sweet. As usual, even with the medium size, the shaved ice dessert was huge. It's definitely meant for sharing. I had not tried this particular flavor before and absolutely loved it. It was on the sweeter side, which I didn't mind! Will definitely be back next time the craving hits!
I'm a bit disappointed with my visit to Meet Fresh. While the cashier is polite and apologetic, I had to initiate the process on scanning my rewards QR to get points. From there, the transaction took 4 tries to correct and finalize. Thankfully it was 3pm on a Sunday, so this was just a snack and I was not hangry. I was annoyed but I tried to be as patient as possible. The order was ready within 5 minutes. The waffle was not sweet enough, and with how it's packaged, it got soggy really quickly. The Thai iced tea was a safe pick, so all was good there. Lesson learned from this visit: maybe there's a reason why this is the holiday special, because it's the lowest selling item on the menu... Overall, I am gonna give this place a little break before next visit.
I came in today and unfortunately the male employee at the counter left a terrible impression. When I walked in, he didn't greet me or ask to take my order. Instead, he blankly stared at me for about 15 seconds until I had to speak first. Anyone that works in the food industry knows that this isn't how customer service is supposed to be. I ended up ordering a pineapple passion fruit green tea which wasn't to my liking as it was too sweet, but that's okay. Specialty drinks like that won't please everyone. What did irk me was, again, the male employee at the counter. When he handed me my drink he didn't say anything. Not a "have a nice day", or "thank you come again"... it was just an extremely cold vibe from him and I told my family that was waiting outside to not go in to get drinks from here. Also, when I was having difficulty paying for the drink as the machine wasn't reading my card with swipe, he grabbed my credit card without saying anything and tapped it himself without asking. Excuse me sir, please don't touch my stuff without asking.
After checking out Teso Life, my friend and I were desperately needing some boba to revive us. My friend had gone to another location of Meet Fresh and had enjoyed it, so we hit this location up. Right off the bat, they have an extensive menu with everything from dozens of boba tea drinks to bingsu to hot dessert items. I feel like one needs to come here multiple times to try more than one or two things out at a time! The interior was plain as all heck which was shocking for how fun the menu looked, but at least there was plenty of seating especially when rushes come in. I'm a sucker for anything with a smoothie consistency, and was appalled that there were only TWO (2) smoothie options under the plethora of drink options. They only had a strawberry smoothie and another dark colored smoothie that didn't look that appetizing to me, so I ordered the strawberry smoothie with added boba. My friend ordered the classic brown sugar milk tea with added boba. My friend really liked hers and compared it to another brown sugar milk tea drink she had at another boba place, and she preferred this one! I enjoyed my strawberry smoothie as well! I was pleasantly surprised to get some grass jelly in there that I didn't know was going to be in there! They were delicious. The boba was extremely soft, but a little too tiny for my liking. I found I was getting one caught in the back of my throat more often than I liked, which has never happened to me out of all the hundreds of boba drinks I've consumed lol. The actual strawberry flavor was nice though, not artificial tasting, and certainly had the color of real strawberries. They also fill it up with jellies/boba, which is much appreciated for an $8 drink I just wish they had more smoothie/slush flavors! Didn't try the bingsu but seeing everyone's orders of it... it truly looks immaculate! I definitely want to try some!
I went today on the 2nd day of their soft opening. Line was very long, waited about 45 mins to order. Ordered the hot red bean signature and icy taro signature, along with a winter melon tea and taro oolong tea. The desserts were an unique and different combination of boba, Mochi, beans, taro and shaved ice or ice cream. Tasted fine, but not something I fully enjoyed. read more

Got a seasonal item - hot almond soup with combo B - boba, red beans, taro chunks, and taro and yam balls. Perfect for a cold AZ day. Lots of seating inside! A bit pricy but not bad once in awhile. read more

Stopped by here for a snack and this place was a treat! The vibe of their store front is very open and welcoming. It looks a bit small from the outside but there's actually quite a bit of seating on the inside.Their menu is pretty large, offering a lot of variety of teas and smoothies and Bobas. They have very unique toppings that you can put in your drinks. Their food menu definitely look delicious. They were Shaved ice, egg waffles, mochi, and many more hot or cold desserts. I decided to try the egg waffle as we had a dinner reservation a little bit later on that day. The waffle was simply delicious! The outside was nice and crispy and the inside was fluffy. Something sweet and something warm. Got the chocolate waffle with a scoop of ice cream and a hot jasmine green milk tea. Both of these were yummy and the hot jasmine milk tea hit the spot. They can only do half sugar and nothing less unfortunately for those trying to cut the sugars. There was a certain smell by the bathrooms side that wasn't very pleasant. Quick and easy order. Protip: Order online ahead of time and wait till they aren't in the soft opening phase to go if you can since half their items aren't available! Highlight: I've gone to Meet Fresh dozens of times in Vegas and California, so it's nice to see one in Arizona. The menu and flavors are comparable. I've always enjoyed all the desserts that I've tried, but haven't tried any drinks. Lowlight: It takes FOREVER for your order to be completed even if you only ordered one thing. I think it's because it's still the soft opening, but they don't have any DIY options for the desserts, no shaved ice, no bubble waffle, so I wouldn't recommend going until they open it up more. read more

The drinks were good but I need to stop spending $16 on just two drinks lol. I came in for their $2.50 drink deal but it wasn't applicable to any of the drinks in the store..? But if you're looking for a cooling summer refresher the mango passion fruit green tea is definitely the way to go! read more

I loved this place so much!! Couldn't figure out what to get for probably almost 20 minutes. I am itching to go back already. The dessert portions are also very big and lasted me several days in the freezer. Would highly recommend and is a top choice for Taiwanese dessert! Don't forget to check this place out periodically for their seasonal specials as well! read more

This is the first time I've been to an Asian plaza in Arizona since I've been here for a month and it's super neat! I was so sad I was leaving Meet Fresh behind in California and I found one in Arizona! It's next to other Asian stores like 99 Ranch I believe which is super cool because you can just go grocery shopping and stop by for a drink! I was dying for the herbal jelly milk tea drink and it was so good! Totally quenched my thirst! The grass jelly here is literally my favorite and it's fresh so you can definitely taste the difference compared to canned grass jelly. My friend got the winter melon tea drink and she said it was really good. Meet Fresh is a huge chain so I don't expect quality or flavor of the drinks to be any different. I would try it out if you're in town! read more
Drop by if u'd like to take a peek inside and try something new, but for the price point, this place is not worth the $. Miss Dessert or Tea Snow are a couple places that come to mind when I'm craving Asian dessert worthy num nums! They have much more palatable desserts without the high price tag. Mind u, the dessert here isn't bad tasting, it's just not that great for the price that they're asking u to pay. My icy grass jelly was a big bowl filled mostly with ice. When I was a kid, ice got me really excited! These days, it takes more than ice to get my heart racing! read more
A large dining area is behind a small store front that displays large menus in the window. Dessert and sweets are my favorite meal! LOL It took us a while to pour over the extensive menu of desserts, milk teas, shaved ice, slush, puddings and waffles. I finally decided on the sweet red bean dessert combo which included mango and taro balls. We ordered and were given a pager that would alert us when our order was ready. (Even though we were the only customers there.) We waited while our items where being made. I returned to the counter to pick our orders. My bowl was sweet and had a good taste but was served barely lukewarm, I wish it was served a tad hotter. A bit pricey for the portion size but the flavor reminded me of the Japanese Zenzai I used to love from when I was a kid. Perhaps I'll drop by again to try other items that will take me back to my childhood. read more
I am trying so hard to like this place because the photos of the items look AMAZING but whenever I order anything, it is very bland to me. What is wrong with me? :) I have made a few trips there and have tried the ice grass jelly (add almond, add taro balls, add custard), hot almond latte, small bites of the mochi and caramel, ice taro ball signature, mangoberry milk shaved ice, taro ball tofu pudding and mango green tea - nothing. Nothing stood out as WOW to me. Makes me sad. Am I missing something? Tell me! read more
We came at around 6:15pm on the first soft opening day and there were 7 groups before us. It took 30 minutes before we could receive our order. They were exactly what we expected from the stores in Las Vegas. The Signature Grass Jelly with Taro Ball was the bomb. Chewy and soft. Perfectly balanced level of sweetness from the shaved ice. It is such a pleasant dessert. The Black sugar boba with milk tea was also very good. We did not have to lower the sugar at all and it was pleasantly sweet (equivalent to 70% sugar level at Dayung, 100% at Miss Dessert, 50% Zero Degree). However, the tables and seats were dirty as it looked like nobody cleaned them up after customers left. Overall, it is the perfect stop to hang out and we are so happy another big great franchise came to AZ. read more

Quality of the dessert is the same as other places of Meet Fresh I've been to in California and Vegas, all very great. The only unfortunate thing was how slow the orders took to be created. Got one dessert that had about 6 ingredients in it and somehow it still took 40 minutes to get it. Quite frustrating when they are an established business with multiple locations across the country. Also the menu selection was already pared down due to their soft opening so it was even more surprising it took forever. read more

So glad to finally try the infamous Meet Fresh! I have been there twice so far and the wait was never as bad as I was expecting. Ordering online is always a good idea, though! They have a LOT of items on their menu that I still have yet to try, but I'd have to say that the icy grass jelly signature is probably my favorite! The other items I've gotten so far have been VERY sweet, especially the ones that include ice cream, so be careful if you're sensitive to sweetness. If you've never had anything like these desserts, just be prepared to eat lots of varying chewy, soft textures! It's sweet, refreshing, and pretty filling. I can't wait to try their other menu items soon! read more
Ooh I must return. I heard the wintermelon tea was a solid go-to, and I will return for it as I will crave it. I bought q mochi and almond pudding. They were out of the caramel pudding and one for my friend. I also ordered hot tofu pudding with taro and loved it it's like taho for the Filipinos who know taho. I haven't eaten my q mochi and almond pudding yet as I ate my tofu pudding which was so filling. It was my dinner:) I must try the special, so I guess I'm forced to return. read more
This new Taiwanese dessert and drink place may seem like an ubiquitous boba shop but it specializes in a variety of taro balls and herbal jellys. There seems to be a veritable smorgasbord of unfamiliar dessert selections and combinations. It will take some time to learn the items and sample all of the drink and dessert options. We had four drinks including a strawberry smoothie, Brown sugar Boba milk tea, fresh milk winter melon tea,l with Boba and a lemon wintermelon tea. each customer is given a pager and seated at the tables until your order is ready. Everything was neatly packaged to go. Our wait was about 15 minutes. The prices seem very fair and we will return to try some more item choices. read more

I went there on a weekday lunch hour. Not a lot of people. I tried the chocolate egg waffle and the black sugar boba tea, 50% sweetness. The chocolate egg waffle had good textures - chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The boba drink tasted Just right with half the normal sugar amount, but the boba was very soft. The place was clean and the ambiance is nice. read more

What a great treat! Trying new things has been my favorite lately and this was definitely a new try for me. I enjoyed the ice cream and toppings the most! The service was quick and fast and I would like to try something different on the menu next time. read more

It's dangerous living close by Meet Fresh. Especially when driving back home. We usually get the Black Sugar Boba Milk Tea. We've ordered the Egg waffle with matcha. Yes! With matcha, another favorite ingredient. Their service is quick and the bobas are made fresh. You can tell when the bobas are warm while the drink itself is cold. The boba store is big enough for social gatherings inside. It's located at a strip mall where there's other boba places to try. But I would definitely recommend Meet Fresh and enjoy some refreshing drinks and desserts. read more

One of the biggest disappointments I've had in a long time. Went for the Mangoberry shaved ice which def does not look like what menu photos depicted. Ice is like American snow cone and coarsely ground. So go for it if you like chewing on ice but I was expecting asian styled fluffy shave ice amd couldn't even finish it. The mango was non offensive but the stawberry was not fresh. Tastes like preserves maybe? Guess expectations were too high compared to the socal places :( read more
It's finally back! They now have the original bowl that I was accustomed to and close to tasting like I remember back in the day. I would get this treat and they used to serve it in a cheap container. I don't think the shaved ice is the same but it's close. read more
I came in for the first time, not knowing much about MeetFresh. The staff did not speak English very well, so please be patient! We pointed to items on the menu we wanted to try. We tried the Mangoberry ice and a bubble waffle. The ice was chunkier than I was expecting, based on having Korean shaved ice, but it was still very tasty and it almost seemed like there were chunks of rock sugar in it too. The bubble waffle wasn't quite as mochi/crunchy as I was expecting. It was more on the dense side. The desserts were ok, but I'll give their drinks a try next time. read more
