As soon as I saw the Filipino-inspired logo and menu, I knew I had to make the trip over to try KuBoba! It looks like the shop had a recent change in ownership/rebrand maybe? All of the imagery on the walls had "Dragon Tea" branding. Well, I was really excited to try their Sago Gulaman Fiesta drink, as a Filipino, as that is not an option you can find too often at boba spots. It was really good -- authentic but with the added tapioca boba, which was actually quite pleasant. The siomai was pretty dry unfortunately, it did taste like it was frozen and microwaved. I did really appreciate the service however! The girl working was hustling all on her own and it was relatively busy for a weekday evening. Shoutout to her for holding it down all on her own!

Guys this is a must try boba spot not for the boba but for their cookies! I absolutely loved the ube and pandan cookies, it was really soft and gooey on the middle but nice crust on the sides. Their chicken was also great and overall the pricing is extremely fair. The inside is a bit small with like 3 tables but still enough spots, and the server was nice and gave us some recommendations. Also this is one of the few boba spot that gives boba for free in the drinks and doesn't charge for it.

Not a great place took over 20 minutes just to get two drinks and it wasn't busy at all.

I wish I could eat ice cream every single day of my life, but I can't, so when I'm out of town and…read moreon the road I take advantage of all the ice cream places I can. After having some dinner down the street, I came across Churn and knew I needed to come and check this place out. This small ice cream shop had a pretty big line on a Monday night when I arrived but it moved quickly and the ice cream looked dang good in the glass display. I decided on getting a two scoop waffle cone with Cookies & Mint and Milk & Cookies. The ice cream tasted super rich and super creamy, both flavours were very good. Overall, Churn is a top notch ice cream parlour and a place I would probably frequent if I lived in Phoenix. The ice cream here is great, the staff was friendly, and I really wish they had some non small and medium t-shirts because I would of left with one. Great spot.

Like literally you can walk between the businesses in the same building. I tried them for the first time during a Windsor/Churn Yelp Elite Event but have since visited Churn alone on my own afterward! I really liked the seasonal flavor milk and cookies because the chocolate chip cookie included in the ice cream is one of their cookies they serve separately anyway, so you know it's good. It had a sweet cream base. My sister and I shared a triple scoop for only $7 and satisfied the both of us. The interior is pretty small, but there's at least patio seating in the back and a bench out front. I'm excited to try other seasonal and permanent flavors in subsequent visits, but for now I love the milk and cookies too much to try anything else and would definitely return for just that!
