Full disclosure: I didn't get what they are known for, their sugarcane juice. I ended up trying their three colors dessert and unfortunately, trying to communicate with the staff was a little difficult. I wanted to substitute some of the red jelly with more green jelly and asked if the green was made of pandan, and they couldn't understand what I was saying. Other than that, they were nice and polite. The dessert itself wasn't bad but needed more flavor. The red and green jellies didn't add any flavor and could have benefited from being two different types of jellies. Coconut milk was fine but needed more. Could have e reduced the amount of beans, but with the language barrier, I gave up on requesting this.

I usually order milk tea from Happy Lemon for my kids, but they weren't open yet on Sunday morning, so I stopped here instead. I have to say this was the worst boba milk tea I've ever had. It tasted like straight sugar and milk with barely any tea flavor. I've come back a few times to give this place another chance, including trying the bò bía cuốn, but it just doesn't taste the way it did when they first opened. The quality seems to have gone downhill, which is really disappointing.

Omg this place was so refreshing! I tried the kumquat sugar cane, I could not put it down! Was a little pricey but worth it!

I stopped by Mia & More and tried the traditional sugarcane drink along with the bánh bèo. The sugarcane drink was incredibly refreshing and the perfect way to cool down in the Arizona heat. It tasted fresh, naturally sweet, and wasn't overly sugary. The bánh bèo was also delicious, with great flavor and a nice balance of textures. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food and a refreshing drink, this is definitely a spot worth checking out!

Avocado drink is noticeably packed with avocado which is nice! I typically get stuff at 50% sweet but surprisingly found that this drink (which I ordered at 100%) could've been sweeter. Maybe if there's an option to add additional sweetness i'll do that next time. The sauce that comes w the rolls is yummy but I do wish the rolls came w more sausage. It was a thin slice of sausage per roll but I guess maybe that makes sense based off the relatively low price?

    Congratulations!

Established in 2012, Mia & More bring the essence of Vietnamese culture through curated street food. We popped in for their Grand Opening and the first thing I noticed was the smell of durian. I'm not a durian girlie-pop but no hate. I had wanted to get their sugarcane but my eyes saw the Banana Cream Coffee and I couldn't think about anything else. The two of us ordered the Banana Cream Coffee ($7.30) and Milky Cloud Coffee ($7.30). The Banana Cream Coffee is amazing. The coffee part is super strong but the banana cream helps balance it out. If you want a drink that's a little less intense and more balanced, the Milky Cloud Coffee was delightful. It's a cozy spot so don't come here if you're looking to chill indoors with friends. That said, there's some great outdoor seating around the plaza you can park your bum bum on to chat. The staff is friendly and they have food options here. Enjoy!

Summer in arizona is here and I was craving a refreshing drink. It was my first time trying Mia and More. When I walked in, I saw that their sugarcane drinks are made fresh to order. One of the staff was grinding the sugarcane through the machine and pouring into a pitcher. Their menu has a variety of items. They sell Vietnamese snacks and different types of desserts. I am a fan of pennywort, so I decided to get it with their sugarcane drink. I really liked the combination. Look at how vibrant the color is in the photo. It tasted very herbal and like a very healthy green drink. My drink came out so quickly from the time I ordered. There is some seating where you can sit and wait for your drink. I definitely want to try their other drinks and desserts. Parking is easy as it is located in the supermarket plaza.

Loving this new drink spot in Chandler! Mia and More brings a lot of sweets that the area has been missing, from a dozen variations of fresh sugarcane juice to durian-avocado smoothies and Vietnamese chè. I've become a HUGE fan of their Vietnamese coffees, which are strong and available with many flavored foam tops. I've tried the matcha, banana cream, and sea salt so far and none have disappointed. Service is friendly. There isn't a ton of seating, but since most people grab and go, there is just enough room for a few couples if you want to eat some of their street food options in-store. So excited to try their pennyworth drinks next!

This place moves like a ninja. Seemingly overnight, this spot just popped up and I'm here for it. Sugarcane juice has always been a treat. But on our first visit, we decided to order coffee. I got the E5 Cloudy Milk Coffee and Joyce got the E9 Banana Cream Coffee. If you're looking for balance, I recommend the Cloudy Milk Coffee. If you're looking to be punched in the neck by caffeine, get the Banana Cream Coffee. Either way, the drinks will have you walking like a boss. I feel strong. It's cozy inside and definitely smells like durian upon entering. Staff is friendly. Support this new spot!

2.1.26 - It was their grand opening this past Saturday/Sunday! I had no idea this place was even being built here until a friend posted about it and told me it was in the same plaza as 99 Ranch. I had literally just gotten home from there 10 mins prior so of course I had to go back the next day to try it. I arrived around noonish Sunday and there were already a few people inside waiting for their orders, a couple of people in line waiting to order and more came in after me. Staff were all friendly. They decorated the place for Tết and had 3 large pretty floral arrangements for their grand opening. My friend told me they had Banana Cream Coffee here so I had to try that. I couldn't leave without trying one of the cane drinks too so I ordered Pineapple Cane as well. The banana cream had a strong banana extract flavor. Wasn't bad. The pineapple cane was good and refreshing! Wasn't too sweet but it was also sitting in the fridge all day so maybe it got diluted a bit. Will be back!

I'm really happy a good sugarcane spot finally opened in AZ and in the same 99 ranch plaza. Given the portion size and pricing, the cost felt reasonable for fresh sugarcane drinks, so I didn't mind it at all. We tried the pennywort sugarcane and the kumquat sugarcane. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the pennywort sugarcane more than the kumquat, which is usually my go-to when I'm in California. The kumquat drink just wasn't as tart as I'm used to, so the flavor didn't quite hit the same for me. The shop itself was clean, and there was plenty of seating while waiting for our drinks. Service was quick - our drinks came out within about five minutes - and you could see them freshly squeezing the sugarcane right from the machine, which was a nice touch. If you are a sugarcane fan, definitely recommend this place. I would definitely come back.

I randomly saw this place one day shopping in the 99 Ranch plaza and knew I had to return to try it out! I came back at 9pm on a Wednesday night, and it was busy! There were people in line, as well as people waiting for their orders. One thing I do appreciate is how late they are open.. you don't typically find Vietnamese places that close at 10pm! We ended up ordering the Banh Beo, Che Thai and Che Ba Mau. All 3 items were delicious! Since we got it to go, we got our ice on the side, and even then, they still gave us a lot of Che. For the Banh Beo, the only thing missing from it is the mung bean, however, I still thought it was good without it! The Che Thai doesn't have the chestnuts or the cubed coconut jelly, but the amount that they give you is abundant to where you don't notice those things are missing. The lady at the front who took my order (I assume is the owner) is very kind! I'm excited to see how much this place continues to grow. I will definitely be returning to try their Sugarcane and Pennyworth drinks, so excited to come back :)

Saw this place was opening on FB. We were all so excited to try!! Finally a legit fresh Sugarcane drink place!! We don't have to go to Cali lol We went there on Sunday during their Grand Opening weekend. There was a line but it moved pretty fast. The staff was very friendly! She kindly informed us the sugarcane is shipped from Vietnam! No wonder the price point is bit high but it was yummy! I got the kumquat sugarcane and hubby got his banana cream coffee. Our friends also enjoyed the young coconut with sugarcane and pennyworth sugarcane!

I ordered a 6 inch frensh dip and their bowl of clam chowder, all to go. Driving home with my to go order was torture! My entire car smelled like bread that just came out of the oven!!! The French dip was delicious! The shop provides a giant cup of Au Jus with the sandwhich, there is no way you are going to use it all! The sandwhich was well belanced with the meat and cheese, and the flavors were a great combination. The sourdough bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely recommend checking out this sandwhich. The bowl of clam chowder is the reason I know I will be consistently coming back to this shop. As a clam chowder snob, I am obsessed! The portions of ingredients were great, not too many of one ingredient. The soup was creamy but not thick like glue, great consistency! The cut sizes for the potato and clams were great and you could easily see the clams in the soup. It was phenomenal!!! I beyond recommend checking out Sourdough & Co.

The legendary…read moreAnthony Bourdain, who had a disdain for chain restaurants, said Jollibee was the exception. This Filipino fried chicken fast food joint has definitely earned my affection too. I visited their only location in the Phoenix metropolitan area for dinner on a weekday. Located in Chandler, parking won't be tough in the large complimentary lot surrounding the restaurant. Ambiance (3.5/5): I mean it's a fast food joint so you don't really go there for ambiance. It's similar in this way to other fast food restaurants we've all been to. When it comes to a fast casual restaurant, I mostly care about cleanliness. This is done at a high level there. I snagged a booth that was a bit dirty. A worker cleaned off my table without me asking soon after I started hovering around the table. Well done. Service (4.5/5): You can either place your order at the counter if you're paying cash or use your card at one of the self-service kiosks. I used the latter option. What's nice about it is that it's easy to customize your order. The kiosk was easy to use and I got my food within a reasonable amount of time (even with the restaurant close to capacity while we were there). Drinks (4/5): At fast food joints, you're expecting your typical soft drinks. Jollibee has that, but they also offer more. Which is a nice touch. I had a pineapple refresher. Pineapple is my favorite fruit so I couldn't say no. While a bit pricey, it was good. Food (4.5/5): Now, for the good stuff. Jollibee is known for a couple of things. First and foremost, their fried chicken. I've had my fair share and the chicken here is quality. When you think of fried chicken, you want a flavorful crispy exterior with a juicy interior. Mission accomplished. The crispiness is at a high level. We shared a six piece chicken joy bucket so you get all the different parts e.g. drumstick, breast, etc. and they all delivered. Another thing Jollibee is know for is their spaghetti. Yep, you read that right. Spaghet' at a fast food restaurant. And this isn't your mom's spaghetti. Instead of marinara sauce, as is popular in The Philippines, they use banana ketchup. Throw in some cheese and some sausage and there's your side dish. It's going to shock you at first as it's sweeter than what you're used to but it's pretty good. A better side than rice (even the adobo rice) or fries in my opinion. O and I forgot to mention, you're given gravy with your fried chicken. Dunk that thing in there. It makes it even better. You're probably already full by reading this but finish things off with a peach mango pie. They look like McDonald's apple pies but they are significantly better. Trust me. While the menu has a lot more than what I just covered, these are the dishes Jollibee is known for. It's a good starting point, especially if it's your first time. Pretty much anything Anthony Bourdain said was accurate. His thoughts on Jollibee included.
