I came in to buy a BPA water bottle with a spout. The owner was so friendly and helpful. Unlike another store I had gone to where the man working seemed to be making fun of me for requesting BPA free. This storekeeper was very nice! He sanitized the bottle and filled it for me. Great customer service!!! They had an excellent selection of Thrifty ice cream and so many flavors for the shaved ice. Also well stocked on candy. It was clean and welcoming. EXCELLENT SERVICE! Let's just start there. I do not know the owner's name but he's awesome! He's very accommodating and always friendly. In addition to water and ice, there's THRIFTY ice cream, which is an awesome treat! There's also a wide variety of candy and sweets that you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere. It's a great store that we very much appreciate. It's the service, however, that puts it above everything else. I'd give it 10 stars if I could! read more

Nice place. Clean. Simple. No rinsing the bottles is the most stupid rule any water and ice can have. Some places have the small round circle knob where you can rinse, this place doesn't have it so therefore you cannot rinse? How can I find locations that are okay with rinsing? It's almost as if you u need to search "Water and Ice Rinse Allowed" locations. read more

Not only is it wonderful for their water supply and ease of use, but the added bit of nostalgia when you go with all the little treats I saw from the 90s I loved it. Also, the shaved ice with cream is absolutely delicious. The family I believe who runs it are INCREDIBLY nice. 10/10 I will be doing business there all the time now. I would recommend. read more

Water and Ice with 5 stars? Well, I didn't expect it either! I was packing up for Country Thunder and had my huge cooler in the back seat. I had absolutely no idea how much ice it needed. When we pulled up the owner gave us the rundown of all the sizes and asked what we needed. When we told him we didn't know he handed us a card and told us to load up and then come back and let him know what we used. WHAT? Someone let us take product outside without paying for it? Wow. Is this still 2012? The Mayans must be right, the end of the world is near. I know, I know... it is just ice you say. But, I've never had that happen before at any business. The courtesy made the transaction easy and actually made me feel good about the world again. Thanks Mr.! read more

Stopped in recently for ice cream. Lady ignored us for awhile. Then, acted surprised when she realized we were waiting for service... ? Why else would we stand there. My daughter really needed a restroom and the woman informed me that they didn't have one. They must hold it all day, apparently.. rudest vibe ever. NO smile. No hello, no thank you. I thought she was just a miserable b_tch. But, ends up after witnessing her friendly persona among other customers, that were coincidentally also not white, it became clear this was discrimination and we weren't welcome. The store on Cooper appears to be non discriminatory based on ethnicity. read more

This is a review for the shaved ice. Never used the water service. My daughters LOVE this place. The shaved ice is deelish. Prices are great too. You can get a cold treat on a hot day for two bucks!! My advice: add the cream to your flavor it's freaken amazing. The guy who works there (owner) is SO nice. He always remembers what we get and is so friendly and patient. Just a good guy. This is the place to go in Casa Grand for ice and water. We have been costumers for three years now and they have always maintained a good, safe water supply. When they were closed for remodeling we had to use different sources and sure noticed the difference in quality. I had to toss out the jugs after filling up from one outside location due to mold. This business is one of the best around and Mr. Rupel is the epitome of customer service! We go in every week and Mr. Rupel always has a sucker for my 3 and 6 year old. He remembers their names and even remembered my youngest's birthday the other day. He is just amazing. So glad to support this local business. Everything is very clean and neat. As you know, kids take a few minutes to pick their flavor it seems to be a life-or-death decision sometimes. but the man working the counter was very nice and patient, giving us plenty of time to make our decisions. Just went in last night touch up some water, but I had a craving for rocky road! I remember when ice cream places used to be inside the department stores. Now they have taken them all out. But I'm here on a long-term visit to my daughter and grandchildren and after drinking tap water when I when I first got here I decided I should switch to bottled water. I didn't want to be buying a bunch of small water bottles to fill the landfills so I bought a couple of gallons jugs of water and then took them to the water store to refill when they were gone. The girl working there is very pleasant and kind and help me learn how to work everything and I've been going there ever since. She's great at customer service by remembering that I always say yes to a receipt and even remembered my favorite ice cream was the Cherry amaretto. I can't resist getting a scoop every time I go in. It's a nice little perk for an otherwise mundane job of going someplace to refill your water jugs. It's sure nice to go into any establishment where they make you feel welcome every time you go in. Oh, and I couldn't resist buying one of those purple jugs and have been very happy with it.

Which is sad because it's right down the street. I have a very sensitive nose. And extremely picky about drinking water. If you can't detect the mold, just ask yourself if you have any minor health issues that started when you began getting water here. The last thing our bodies need is mold. Look into it. There are a few water and ice businesses that have great water. This location at University and Greenfield is the worst by far.

It could NOT be controlled or monitored, but the people did their best to be courteous. All of a sudden when we were near their doors a mad lady (which seemed to be the owner) came out and was extremely nasty telling us (me in particular) to MOVE! She never said please or thank you kindly. Her facial expression was very aggressive and angry. Super irritated- MAD... When you treat your potential customers and existing customers this way, it leaves a bad impression. We actually were going to treat ourselves to an ice cream cone after visiting the other establishment.
