I don't remember how I found Lyndsey during my last minute scramble to find a replacement, but I'm so glad I found her (things really do happen for a reason!) As a makeup artist, Lyndsey is very open to what you would like your makeup to look like. She takes into account your reason for getting makeup done, your outfit colors, your favorite colors and just how you wear your makeup everyday. She definitely knows how to highlight your facial features and cover up the blemishes so that you have a flawless and gorgeous looking face. Her salon is cute, chic and very inviting. Everyone in my party who had their makeup done remarked how well she listened to what they wanted and how beautiful they felt when their makeup was complete. All of the pictures from our wedding are a testament to her great job. If I were rating makeup alone, this would easily be a 5+ star review. She understood my makeup vision and gave me my perfect look. She uses airbrushing for a very flawless finish, and her actual touch is very light. I have had my makeup done before, but had never had this positive of an experience. I coordinated everything through Angela, even sending some preliminary ideas back and forth via email ahead of the event. We ended up having 9 women needing their hair done and 7 women getting their makeup done. To be done by 2:30, we started around 10am, which made it very convenient that we could sleep in. Angela showed up at the hotel promptly, and was super friendly and easy to work with. We showed her our ideas that we had found on pinterest, and she did a great job executing everyone's vision. She worked so quickly, it was awesome to watch. Everyone was so happy with the job that she did, and we had fun hanging out with her all day. Candace did our makeup, and with fewer people to do, she showed up about a half hour or so after Angela. Candace seemed much quieter and more reserved than Angela, but she was still super nice and did a great job. No one in our group had ever had their makeup done professionally before (and liked it), and everyone was very happy with the look that Candace achieved for them. The makeup stayed on all day, and we all got touchup bags which we used just before the ceremony, since it was a little warm during pre-ceremony pictures. Payment seemed more complicated than it needed to be, since they don't take credit cards on location, and you pay each of them separately, but it wasn't a huge deal. Heather micro-bladed/shaded my brows 6 weeks ago and we just had my follow up session and they look FANTASTIC!!!! She was very detailed making perfect measurements so my brows would be even. I look put together even without make up and had saved me a lot of time in my make up routine because my brows are already on point without having to do too much to it after the service.
