I called them in to do a major cleanup of our house (we had let things go due to health issues of two of the three of us roommates). Although the result appeared good, I noticed some things were missing, and, on a hunch, I opened up one of the "trash" bags they put in the garbage. I found that they were throwing out anything that was inconvenient for them to deal with: 2 T-shirts, 3 bras, some mismatched socks... who does this? Why wouldn't they ask me where our dirty laundry should go? A waste of $240! Hired to clean an 1100 square foot vacant barely dirty townhouse. They spent nearly 3 hours up stairs. Kept hearing sloshing noises - they mopped my hardwood floors!!! Worse NO vacuum, just swept, so they smeared around dirty bucket water, so I had to spray mop with clean pads myself. Upon arrival I told them to start with the kitchen: cabinet exterior/interior, refrigerator, and stove but they proceeded upstairs. Later (I didn't think I had to micro manage them, boy was I wrong)I went upstairs and again said what I wanted them to focus on, and again they ignored me. I said NOT to clean the master shower since it had just been cleaned by the stone cleaner, but to just clean the frameless shower door; they took off the tape over the knobs, so I am assuming they also cleaned the clean shower and judging by the VERY limited supplies they brought by nontravertine safe cleaner. I never asked them to sweep the balcony, but they did while I was sitting under eating my lunch lol. Later I surmised the 2 ladies must not understand English since they never spoke a single word or did what I asked. I eventually raised my voice in frustration telling to stop sweeping the floors and dragging out a simple cleaning job. A few minutes later I got a phone call from the company because the ladies told the office I was unhappy and was told they spray the oven on the way in. But, when I complained a few days later they said they don't clean ovens - total flip flop. They did wipe out about 3 little crispies on their way out; and I completely cleaned the oven myself the next day. I also told the office I opened the master vanity of my rental and water poured out, the lightbulb cardboard package kept underneath was soaked, and the melamine warped. I showed my leasing agent, who had recommended this company, and he said he could see the warp from where he stood. No apology from the office, just said she'd call the ladies to hear what all the swooshing was, but never called me back. Obviously, it was them swooshing mop water EVERYWHERE. The office says their ladies speak English, which means they blatantly ignored my instructions. I've gone over EVERYTHING because I couldn't tolerate my base boards, shutters, closets being wiped out with dirty mop water. The windows they cleaned were clean. I never expected perfection and knew I would touch up afterwards, but this was inexcusable Incompetent and will drag out the job! read more

When someone finds themselves on this path of many medical appointments, surgery, radiation, chemotherapy (for some), your life is interrupted abruptly for months and months. You do not have the energy to clean as you had before. Time goes by with dust accumulating on the baseboards, behind furniture, mold grows in the showers, cobwebs start collecting in the corners. Your family tries to help, but it's not the same. You try to do what you can, but the fatigue and discomfort does not allow you to do much. The two ladies that came today were terrific! They said my house is too big to get it all done in 2 hours. They were right. But even though not all the rooms got touched, I appreciate how diligently they worked to get as much done as they could. Hired them for deep cleaning of an empty house. We had a lot of dust from previous work we had done to house. We Asked them to clean all surfaces, inside the closets and cabinets. They spent 4hours "cleaning" our house. We found they didn't clean the kitchen cabinets, the walls, inside the closet. They mopped our laminate floor with dirty water and left it wet (you're not supposed to use water with laminate) I'm not sure what "deep cleaning" means to this company but we are disappointed. To those of you who know about me and my lack of cooking skills, it'll come to no surprise to you that I'm not much of a housekeeper either. What can I say...I'm a busy gal. Okay, I'm a lazy gal too. But I always lie to myself, and convince myself that I'm neither lazy or busy or a poor housekeeper. Then 2pm rolled around on Friday afternoon and I realized I still had a whole pile of errands to run before a party at my house that night, and there was another pile of dishes still in the sink, as well as...well...god knows what in the bathroom. It was time to take Liz O's advice and call Mega Maids. I meagerly asked if they can do same day service, totally expecting them to laugh in my face as I cried my way over to my pile of dishes. But, no - I got a resounding "yes!" And even with a first-time customer special. Within a couple of hours two maids showed up with plenty of elbow grease in tow and cleaned the hell out of my house. They even cleaned my stove beyond what I thought was possible. I just came to accept that there would always be a couple of burn marks here and there...well, this mega maid didn't accept it and scrubbed the shit out of those stains. $68 and a little over an hour later, I had a house my mom would be proud of and that was good and ready to be wrecked by a house full of people for my little shindig that night. read more

I rarely write reviews but had to come on here to detail the terrible experience I've had with them. Had them come out on 3 separate occasions to clean my bathrooms. After each visit I had to re-clean. They use a mop that sloshes the dirt around on the floor and don't actually wipe the dirt clean and don't have any tools to pick up the dirt. The faucets and sink aren't actually cleaned with any sprays, just wiped down- again the dirt just moves around. At first, I actually wouldn't mind re-cleaning it quickly and would text Linda (manager) who would assure me that next time it would def be cleaned. I also requested the same person/team come every time so they would be familiar with what to do- Linda assured me that wouldn't be a problem. So I kept having them come but after the third time, I spoke to Linda (the manager) and she yelled at me for 10 minutes on the phone saying that I shouldn't be telling the housekeepers how to clean because they are "professionals" and "get nervous when you instruct them". I've never had such a terrible experience before. Please see the "apics I took after they cleaned. Update in response to Melanie: Clearly either you have been misinformed or you are purposely "covering" for your team by lying here. Please see texts between myself and Linda confirming what was to be done prior to the maids arriving as well as the pics I sent to Linda AFTER they were done cleaning. Additionally, the maids NEVER came back to re-clean or address these issues which clearly Linda agreed should've been addressed earlier. I have a full-time job so I don't have time to stay at home all day to have them come back next day to re-clean. If your team was "trained properly" I shouldn't have had to keep having the same issues addressed. It should've been addressed the first time they came out! Instead of berating your customers, if you spent that energy into speaking and training your employees, perhaps you wouldn't have such negative reviews and numerous customer complaints. I'm glad to report that I found another housekeeper who works excellently and I no longer have to deal with your incompetence and belligerence. read more
