    My audio test blue ray disc, read my review.

    I was talking to a buddy of mine who just finished his home theater and he was all excited about watching the latest Star Wars in 7.1 digital audio that he bought at Target "8 individual speakers of dedicated audio". So I ask him how does he get 7.1 to play because my blue ray disc never play in anything above 5.1 on my home theater, he says it plays automatic and so does mine in theory. Now I thought about what would cause only 5.1 to play on my equipment and I had a theory in my head that I wanted to test so I needed a newer blue ray disc that specifically says 7.1 on the back of the case. To test my theory I didn't need an absolute new full price Best Buy blue ray disc so I looked for a used one and stumbled on this store. I never new such a store existed that had all things audio, video, gaming, computers, cameras, tablets, game consoles etc used at a lower price point. The blue ray section had a nice assortment of discs from $5.99 to $19.99 which I though was great pricing. I have not bought a movie in for ever because I use Red Box and Netflix for my blue rays. My theory was proven correct because my Avengers: age of Ultron 7.1 played in 7.1 audio, the first time I have ever seen 7.1 show on my receiver. Here is why I have never seen 7.1 before, rental blue ray discs are stripped down discs that play 5.1 from Red Box and Netflix so if you have a home theater and want to get the best sound, you can't rent discs and have to buy them. From now on if I'm wanting the great sound from a certain movie like "Transformers " for example I know I have to buy the home edition. This store was a nice find and helped me test my theory so if you have a movie that you want to watch in 7.1 or higher for the awesome sound you will need to buy the disc and not rent it. Please keep in mind that if you get a used Blue ray here that that's all you get so if you want the combo with digital copy and DVD than this is not for you.

    I dig 'em. I come for the CDs and I'm usually not disappointed. Lots of dvds too. (My review was too short to post so I'm adding more words)

    Well for starters, how about not listing an item as VG+ when there's a plethora of creases along…read morethe top edge and a literal hole in the back of it. Or, how about not referring to those creases and hole(s) as "minor cosmetic issues". Or, how about not listing it for over $30 above the average sale price on Discogs when the average piece sold at that price is practically in mint condition, if not still sealed, while your copy is opened, used extensively, clearly mistreated by either it's original owner or by your staff, and has unwanted tape applied by your staff on it to "fix the problem". Or, how about not making the buyer pay for shipping to ship a defective product back to your store. And if none of your staff is able to utilize any of my recommendations, how about at the very least, you and your staff not refer to collectors or hobbyists as "not-normal people with crippling OCD issues". That would be a good place to start. However, after talking with your staff on the phone recently, it's crystal clear that neither your staff nor your company cares at all about the consumer. I'm sure of it, that your staff and owner have the mindset of "there's always another sucker out there". Now, as a collector, I always read every detail about a listing just to be clear on what my expectations should be, however, after reading this description, not only am I shocked at how much the condition of the piece is downplayed, I'm utterly appalled at the hate speech used in the listing description. First, as a "limited" music store, I expect all of your staff to be more "OCD" than I, since you know it's so limited (your inventory that is) according to your namesake. Second, I expect the descriptions of your items to be thoroughly detailed without a hint of any of your staff being subjective when preparing an item to be listed. Third, I expect your staff to not participate in hate speech (the last line of your listing description, if you were still unaware of what I was referring to). Fourth, I expect that when a customer like myself needs to return an item because it's clearly not in the condition described in your listing, that you and your staff do the right thing instead of making the customer spend more money just to not have the item they bought from your store, and that a replacement or full refund (including the cost for shipping the item back to your store) be issued in a professional and courteous manner. And finally, if you and your staff are completely unwilling to make any of the changes I've suggested, then you just remove the listing altogether instead of trying to scam the next hardworking customer out of every dollar they have just so you can make a quick buck. If I could give a rating less than 1-star then I would. From this point going forward, I will NEVER place a single purchase on any item from this store for as long as I shall live. Oh and word is traveling fast around the "OCD" collecting community that your store over prices your product substantially, doesn't accurately describe the condition of your product and even downplays the severity of the damage caused, and refuses to try and make amends when an issue arises. I hope every single person who wants to purchase any item from your store, reads my review and chooses wisely and shops elsewhere. I hope the community in Wisconsin isn't similar to you and your staff, because if they are, then I'll be avoiding Wisconsin in its entirety. I've attached a screenshot I took from the current listing of ONE of the damaged items being listed on Discogs. For the tentative consumer reading my review, please choose to shop elsewhere. There are many other businesses that I would much rather purchase from and so should you. Also, for the store employee reading this review, please do not respond asking for forgiveness and to be given a second chance at rectifying the situation. Your staff has made it abundantly clear that an amenable solution will not be sought out by you, your staff, or your store in general. Thank you.

Fully support this bookish adventure as a lifelong reader with eclectic tastes. He's a BEYOND fanatic of Tolkien and "Lord of the Rings". I appreciate the wide range of genres, products (stationary, book related games, calendars, and quirky trinkets), and a fantastic clearance section. They are huge supporters of librarians and teachers which makes me be so happy. The service was amazing at this particular store. I appreciate the friendly and attentive help whenever I needed it. Great prices, promotions, and just a fun place to investigate. I could spend a significant amount of time browsing, discovering new and favorite authors, and still staying within my book budget.

At checkout I asked if they have a rewards program which they do not however right now they have a summer reading program promo (for adults even!) which is super neat! So make sure to ask about this and find a new book to read. I'm kicking off my summer reading from their LGBTQ display they had set up. Wolfsong - it's really good one day in and already 100 pages through it! It's well written and just keeps leaving unanswered questions which is why I can't put it down currently! Also the book itself is stunning.

    I found Lost Wonder of Worlds while searching for Pokémon cards for my cousin's birthday after…read morestriking out at a few other stores. Online showed they might have some in stock, so I called first. The gentlemen I spoke with on the phone was really nice and answered my questions, which made me feel confident enough to stop by in person. When I walked in, though, the in-store experience felt a bit different and on the emptier side. The two employees at the front didn't seem very welcoming and gave off a slightly annoyed vibe. When I asked about the Pokémon cards, they seemed confused about what I was referring to until I mentioned I had called earlier and spoken to someone. They checked with their coworker, who clarified which ones he had told me about. I asked to see the packs they had behind the counter, and the interaction still felt a little tense. That said, I was able to grab the two packs, which ended up being the perfect gift for my cousin, so mission accomplished. Overall, they had what I needed, and I appreciate that the phone service was helpful. I'd probably come back if I really needed something specific, and I'm curious to explore more of what they carry. Just hoping for a warmer in-store customer service experience next time.

A figure I would've spent $40+ on Amazon for cost a mere $27.99, as most of their products are retail OR slightly above, by a very slim margin. Additionally, for those who leave low-star reviews; just because your local comic store participates in a day to give FREE product doesn't mean every business has to. You are not entitled to anything of Free Comic Day, it's just that some people offer it. Also, the cat? Why would you pet a sleeping cat? That's pure, unfiltered ignorance--let the poor thing sleep. Also, who goes to a comic store for Anime paraphernalia? What I'm trying to say is, please, don't drop a trip over here because of strange opinions, as the place is definitely worth the trip.
