With no success myself I paid a professional plumber to come out to unclog it but they were not successful. They were able to locate the area of the clog but could not get it out. Fearing a collapsed concrete sewer line, I got a couple of quotes which were going to be super high If the company had to dig it out ($4500). since I knew most of the cost would be to dig the dirt out around the pipe, I got a laborer to dig it out for a day to save money and took a lot of pictures and got bids. Because the swing in prices was so big I called over 20 plumbers and some gave me quotes with just pictures and some said they had to come look. Bids were all over the place and some places bid low and tried to back pedal and told me it was going to be a 2-4 hour job or half a day and materials on top of that. After doing my due diligence brewers came out and did the job in 40 minutes and were in and out in time to watch the Seahawks and get into Feast mode. These are down to earth guys with fair prices and they are honest workers. They will he getting many referrals from me any chance I get. I was very happy with everything from beginning to end and would highly recommend to everyone.

We called Mr. Rooter Plumbing because our water heater pilot wouldn't stay lit. After doing some…read moreresearch, I figured it was probably the igniter or thermocouple, but I didn't want to mess with it myself. My wife scheduled a free service call, knowing of course there would be a catch. The next day, a tech named Tom (goes by "Tommy") showed up. Within 5 minutes of looking at the unit, he told us the entire water heater had to be replaced--for $2,500. On top of that, he claimed the pan and placement didn't meet code and insisted it needed to be reinstalled 18 inches off the ground, which would cost another $2,000. That's a total of $4,300 plus tax. When my wife called me to discuss, I tried speaking with him directly, but he constantly talked over me and wouldn't listen. That was enough for me; I told him thanks but we'll be taking our business elsewhere. We ended up ordering a brand-new water heater through Home Depot. With installation by Fast Water Heater, it cost us $1,800 plus tax. It was done the next day, and everything passed city code exactly where the old one sat. I don't think everyone at Mr. Rooter operates like Mr Tommy, but my experience felt like a sales pitch disguised as a service call. Instead of actually diagnosing the issue, it was straight to an overpriced replacement and scare tactics about code compliance. The customer service was rude, and the upselling was not ethical. Do yourself a favor and get quotes from other vendors before signing with Mr. Rooter.

With that said, I raised my review up to 5 stars after I reached out to the manager, Danny, Danny said he would talk to the plumbers about that in thier next meeting and also made the price better. I like that they did something about all the issues. Btw, Danny offered to replace the toliet hose but I was satisfied that he'll bring it up in their meeting. Kudos to Mr Rooter. He was very responsive, communicated his ETA clearly, and is obviously very knowledgeable about septic systems. He explained everything in simple terms and didn't make me feel overwhelmed. Pricing was similar to other companies I've used, but I got way more value from the service. My experience with Eduardo (Septico) was completely different from a previous company I hired, who made me feel judged instead of actually helping. She was very helpful and kind. I had the electrician (Aaron) come in and inspect. He did a very thorough inspection and found out what had tripped the breaker. He went above and beyond. Figured there were some mistakes done by a contractor that had just remodeled our kitchen and bathroom. The price quoted seemed reasonable for the job needed.
