My neighbor and I hired Brewer for a sewer lining project in West Seattle after repeatedly having to hydro jet roots out of our shared sewer line. They did a great job of communicating throughout the project and minimized the damage to my landscaping (which was unavoidable). They provided photos and video of before, during, and after the project so I have documentation of the fix. At the end, they replaced the rock in my rockery, replanted my plants and even spread compost to make it all look nice. Brewer reached out immediately to me after a yelp quote request. I had a backed up sewer and my first step was renting the professional machine at Home Depot since I suspected it was a clog in the main line of my sewer. With no success myself I paid a professional plumber to come out to unclog it but they were not successful. They were able to locate the area of the clog but could not get it out. Fearing a collapsed concrete sewer line, I got a couple of quotes which were going to be super high If the company had to dig it out ($4500). since I knew most of the cost would be to dig the dirt out around the pipe, I got a laborer to dig it out for a day to save money and took a lot of pictures and got bids. Because the swing in prices was so big I called over 20 plumbers and some gave me quotes with just pictures and some said they had to come look. Bids were all over the place and some places bid low and tried to back pedal and told me it was going to be a 2-4 hour job or half a day and materials on top of that. After doing my due diligence brewers came out and did the job in 40 minutes and were in and out in time to watch the Seahawks and get into Feast mode. These are down to earth guys with fair prices and they are honest workers. They will he getting many referrals from me any chance I get. I was in the middle of having my driveway replaced when we realized the P-trap was toast and needed to be repaired or replaced. We have had a recurring problem with our sewer line and numerous plumbers to clean out and help us determine where the problem is so we can repair it. One plumber charged us $300, and the other $500 for the same service. The first clean out was after ten years so we did not know there was a problem until it happened again. We have a 1920's house with an 80+ year old sewer line that repeatedly was backed up into our basement. I spoke to and got estimates from a few other sewer companies in the area. Originally, I was thinking I'd need to cure in place pipe-lining in order to repair the line as that's what other companies suggested. I rarely write reviews but our experience with Brewers Sewer was beyond stellar, this includes our interactions with every single employee that we came in contact with! The woman who handles the phones was so personable and helpful, the estimator and the owner were both exactly the same way, super informative and very personable! They are a real "get it done" bunch of people, this is also true of the guys who came every day to do the work! They were very conscientious even when the owner wasn't here woking alongside of them. Due to covid every body was masked up (which has got to suck when you are digging trenches and huge holes and mixing concrete etc.) we really appreciated their effort. They took care of every detail from start to finish, they put tarps everywhere before they piled the dirt up, they moved a couple of small shrubs which was not in the contract for them to do and they added topsoil and left us grass seed to plant when it is sufficiently warm. You never want to have to contact a sewer repair company so when you do, it's typically a stressful situation. When I first called Travis at Brewers Sewer, he was so friendly and helpful and came out right away to provide a quote. They were so great to work with (unfortunately we've had lots of sewer issues at different locations and had some bad experiences with other companies) we hired them again after we moved to a new place and had another sewer issue. Fast forward to today, when our outside drain clogged and our basement flooded yet again (years after we thought we permanently fixed the issue) and I emailed Travis at 7:30am. He got back to me less than 20 minutes later saying he was on his way. They cleared the drain and didn't even charge us. If you have sewer or plumbing issues you know the stress and urgency involved.
