Turns out I have no cavities and don't need a root canal. I have been going to another dentist for 4-5 years now and haven't had any issues or cavities or root canals. He was high the day he took out the old filling - he said he hurt injured his foot and was high on painkillers. I asked if he wanted to do it another day when he felt better. He said he was fine to do it. To cut short a long horror story - I'm out $10,000 so far for the work that other dentists and endodontists had to do (root canals & retreats, crown etc) to fix his work. I was dealing with a n ill parent so decided not to sue. I asked Visa to get my $250 (if memory serves correctly) back from King. He refused. In my opinion, just a horrible horrible person & dentist, as is his wife if she's the one at the front desk. (Also two other dentists I saw said he should never have done the work if he was on painkillers. They said he shouldn't have come in to work at all that day.)

My kids (all teens at the time when we lived in OH) were told they had cavities and needed…read morefillings. Everyone's fillings done by Dr Rosenthal on Chillicothe Rd fell out. My son's tooth was never drilled. A filling was placed over a healthy tooth so when it fell out, the next dentist said there was no cavity there so he never replaced the filling. Our insurance would have been interested to know this. My daughter's story is worse. His fake cavity game was played on her but he used the drill and the filling still fell out. Then drilled into again and it fell out again. Then a new dentist had to do a root canal that wouldn't stick because of excessive drilling done formerly by Rosenthall which led to a bridge and now a fake tooth. He is either incompetent, dishonest or both. To this day my kids remember Dr Rosenthal 's name and exchange bad tooth stories. We really should have sued. He is lucky to only get this bad review. I have x-rays to prove my claims.
