We felt this was the most important vendor to make sure was right for us since depending on your photos, that's the best way you can make those memories and details you put into planning and those wonderful emotions last forever for future generations to see. I have always really had an appreciation for great photography and photographers and I can not tell you how long I have researched during wedding planning to find my favorite photographer in Chicago! It was a hard and overwhelming task because there are a lot of talented ones in Chicago. No one matched her quality for her price, in my opinion, and her artistic eye combined with the gorgeous and striking way she makes black and white photos look and color photos so beautifully vivid made me sure she was the right choice for us! We've received so many compliments on our wedding photos. People have been saying, "You have the BEST wedding photos!!" and so on, and each photo she gave us really is a beautiful work of art. I love her eye for design and color. As an Artist myself, I really can appreciate her extreme and unique talent. We have absolutely no regrets, and felt so lucky that we got to work with Theresa! We'd do it again in a heartbeat. She was also easy to get a hold of, very thoughtful, sweet and very professional. She made everyone, including my young nieces and nephews, feel at ease around her. She was gracefully non intrusive throughout the whole day and night but whenever we needed her she was right there. One more thing I want to add is that she's excellent at taking charge/giving direction to groups and for photo shoots without being too bossy or anything! It was great so we didn't have to feel confused about how to pose or where to take photos. She definitely knows what she's doing!! We felt very taken care of. We purchased a Living Social deal for a photo shoot with Sarah Jane. It was a one hour shoot and…read moreshe took about 90 pictures, in her studio with a backdrop. There were a set number of pictures we could choose from those 90, and then an additional fee for other ones we wanted, but the best part is that she signed a release for us to own the negatives and mailed us the photos on a disc, so now we can print them for $0.11 each at Walgreens! She was friendly and professional, and the pictures look good. She did send us an extra disc with the ones we had selected with some photoshopping, but it was mainly color effects, like sepia and black and white, rather than cleaning up tan lines or stray hairs, which would have been nice. Still, an awesome deal and she's done lots of kinds of photos, from maternity to kids to author photos, etc.

I was drawn to her style of photography on the website and my photos did not disappoint :) When we arrived for our shoot, the baby was super fussy and refused to cooperate.
