It's kind of hidden in a corner, so if you're having trouble finding it, I recommend using one of the large maps on-site to make it easier. I ordered the Banana Matcha Cloud and a Blueberry Croffle. After my first bite, I immediately regretted not ordering a few extra croffles for the road--but I guess that just gives me an excuse to come back and try the rest of the menu. If you're unfamiliar with croffles, they're croissants pressed into crispy, buttery perfection in a waffle maker. They're topped with an assortment of mouthwatering ingredients before being served, making for an incredibly aesthetic (and delicious) treat. They also serve warm, freshly made taiyaki with a variety of fillings that are just as tempting. This place stays busy, and for good reason. Even if there's a line, it's absolutely worth the wait. They move through orders quickly, the service is efficient, and the quality never seems to suffer. I left completely satisfied, and this spot has definitely earned a place on my list of cafés I'll happily keep coming back to.

I just ran out to grab somethings and hadn't had breakfast. So I just typed in coffee place and chose the most unique name near me. Oof I walked in and it was beautiful with what looked like gourmet pastries and coffee. Not a place to be covered in dirt and grass clippings. But I was already there, the coffee smelt good and I saw a matcha croissant (I love matcha) so I ordered to go. The girls in front of me bought the last one, but they very quickly made me another one and they were far too nice The food was spectacular and the best I've had in a long moment! The coffee was amazing! The service a 10 out of 10! And the vibe was so cute and relaxing

We were exited to take my niece to the 'unicorn place' and support a plant based shop. It was super cute and she was excited about the decor and unicorns. Came a little after 9am on a Friday, it was maybe half full, but it took about 40 minutes to get two lemon tofu toasts. I was patient until my niece was getting antsy, she finished her pastry, we both finished our mediocre coffees, still no toast... I checked and the Apple Pay time stamp went through more than 30 minutes prior. I asked staff if our toast was still coming and they replied rudely like I was being a jerk to even ask. Pagers for food when they went off were obnoxious beeping. Just give people a table number and carry it out to them. Maybe they have one little toaster and person in the back? That said once the food came, the tofu was DELICIOUS, and a large portion. We could have split it. Croissant was unimpressive as was their chocolate croissant. Macarons were tasty, but not with the signature chew that ones made with egg whites would have. $$ Two plain lattes, two lemon toasts, a chocolate croissant and 6 macarons with a $5 tip was $88. Pretty ridiculous, and I am used to California, Bay Area prices.

My husband ordered the Farmhouse, which was okay but felt a bit heavy on the potatoes. I tried the seasonal Chimichurri Steak & Eggs Hash, and that was definitely the highlight of our meal. It had great flavor and was something we both really enjoyed. We also ordered the Million Dollar Bacon, which was honestly disappointing. The bacon was sliced fairly thin and wasn't as crispy as we expected. We think it would benefit from either a thicker cut or a crispier preparation. The biggest letdown for us was the waffle. It arrived soggy, overly salty, and lacked the crisp exterior we were hoping for. Overall, there were a few things we enjoyed, especially the hash, but enough misses that this probably won't become our go-to breakfast spot.

It should be mentioned, that the noise level here is fairly high with all the patrons and children. They do have outdoor seating, including both an inside and outside breakfast bar. The first bar of measurement is the coffee. We were served a dark roast, which is somewhat comparable to what you get at Starbucks, but I'm not a fan of those creamer pods 3*. The good news is that they bring you an endless pot of coffee. We ordered the blueberry lemon cornbread in hopes that it come out first, but they forgot it. When it arrived, it was topped with a lemon custard. I'd recommend skipping the pancake and go with this choice, although it did remind me of that Jiffy cornbread with freeze dried blueberries. We chose the Athlete and the trifecta. Those choices were basically good and some yelpers draw comparisons to Denny's, but we thought it was a little better. For the money, it's worth a return visit. Service was also attentive. You can pay with a QR code on your receipt or visit the checkout station where the tip screen starts at 18%. Some additional points of interest is the fact that you will have to ask for water, I was pleased to see that they do offer real maple syrup for an additional charge, no credit card fee and there is ample parking. They do have a lunch menu and they do offer a good selection cocktails. It also appears every review gets a business owner response. Check out the informative photos.

I love how spacious the restaurant is compared to other locations I've been to. The bathroom was clean as well. Pineapple express- This drink was tasty. I would definitely get it again. I was able to taste hints of everything without the pineapple taste being masked. Chimichuri steak and eggs hash- The star of the show and the twinkle in my eye. The steak was cooked perfectly . The dish was seasoned well. The potatoes melted into my mouth. All the ingredients went together perfectly! Strawberry tres leches french toast - I was eating bite after bite with bliss. Every bite was good. Suddenly I looked down and saw an object that in my French toast. It was a top from the whipped cream (I'm assuming) . It was definitely a plastic top. I did let the waitress know. My dish was remade. The manager made it right and I didn't have to pay for it.!! Overall my experience here was good and my food was good. New items! How exciting: I had not been here for a couple of months. This time I decided to try their matcha- it comes topped with a chocolate pistachios cream (this was a bit too much for me, my daughter liked it) and the matcha was also too sweet for me, but very flavorful. For our main dish I ordered the shrimp and grits, and my daughter ordered biscuits and gravy. My dish had 4 small shrimp (which I ate) a lot of anduille sausage bits, and a lot of flavorful sauce over these soupy cheesy grits that was not what I expected. It was served as a "soup" with a spoon. There was some toasted bread on the side of the bowl. While everything was very flavorful, I did not like the soupy consistence, it was unexpected for me. My daughter's biscuits and gravy, on the other hand, needed more gravy... she liked the dish but she felt her gravy was too little for the serving. Then she also ordered a half order (1) pancake with cinamon roll French toast and we took that home. It had good flavor! Overall, I enjoyed the food, the flavors were good, the prices have definitely gone up a LOT. 3 stars for good flavor as expected- but I was not "blown away"... but yes of course I would come again! Enjoy!

Another Broken Egg Café has the kind of menu that wants you to believe you're about to have a…read morepolished, indulgent brunch -- the sort of thing Austin does extremely well when a kitchen actually commits to balance and intention. On this visit, the ideas were there, but the execution felt like it took the morning off. The Lobster & Brie Omelette sounded like it was aiming for a little coastal glamour, the kind of dish that should feel light, silky, and just a touch celebratory. Instead, the Brie came in like it had something to prove. It sat on top in a thick, molten sheet that never melted into the eggs -- it just smothered them. Pair that with cream cheese inside, and the whole thing leaned dense and sticky on the palate. The lobster was tender, but it didn't stand a chance under all that dairy. In Austin, where chefs know how to let a star ingredient breathe, this felt more like "we had Brie, so we used Brie" than any real culinary intention. The gumbo missed the mark in a different way. The first spoonful tasted thin, like the roux never fully committed. It didn't have that slow‑built depth or warmth that makes gumbo feel like it's been tended to. The seafood didn't bring much character because the base wasn't there to support it. Honestly, the focaccia on the side had more personality than the gumbo itself -- and that's not the hierarchy you want. Service was warm and the space pleasant, but the food felt like ambition without follow‑through. In a city where brunch is practically a competitive sport and where balance, technique, and restraint are the norm -- these dishes needed more refinement and a clearer sense of flavor priorities. With a little more intention, they could be far more compelling than they were on this visit. Tell me this, Yelp fam... what is your fav brunch spot? Write a review about it if you have one.

June 7, 2025 review ---…read moreWe visited this place with our friends and got paneer Pulav, rava dosa, poori aloo. We never had Pulav here before but thought of trying because it was listed as new item. My husband was craving for poori so we got the poori aloo and ofcourse, rava dosa is one of the best here so we didn't want to miss that. We got poori pretty quick and were told that other items were coming pretty soon. Rava dosa came after in few mins but it was soggy and cold. You can tell that it's not just came out of tawa. It looked like an old order to me. I asked to call the manager and told about dissatisfaction with rava dosa. He first tried to defend, then I asked him to touch and tell and if it's fresh. He said he will get it replaced and get a fresh one coming. Ofcourse that took 15-20 mins to come. Paneer Pulav was good. Not too spicy and it came with yogurt to balance. Rice was also sticking to each other so it looked like paneer biryani to me but ofcourse very balanced spices version. My friend also ordered the veg keema Pulav but I like the paneer one more. Service can be hit or miss so I'm reducing one star but overall good quality is good. Also when I visited this back in June, they had the buy 2 Pulav at a certain price offer going on. We looked at it later and checked that out cheque had individual priced for each Pulav. Manage gave the reason as we ordered two in 15 mins gap. He later offered us the balance as courtesy but we didn't take it. I think this should have been accounted while creating the cheque in first place. Overall good place for vegetarian south Indian food.

The appetizer was served last, and it wasn't even piping hot, as if they had just made it. You only get one tiny 8-ounce plastic bottle of warm water to drink, unless you go out and grab another one out of the pack in the other room. That said, the dosa is excellent, textures and flavors on point. Onion pakoda are crave-worthy, crispy and well seasoned. The spices are bright and bold, unrestrained, and deeply satisfying. It's fantastic that so many options are vegan as is. Unfortunately, the issues with payment was the final straw. I had a coupon that seemed to completely flummox the poor guy, and while fumbling with my phone, executed the transaction with Google pay, which is not at all how I wanted to pay. He "couldn't" refund it, for some reason. It makes me so sad. Seems like a great, family-run place with excellent food. I won't be revisiting.
