Waiting in the car with AC

Who doesn't enjoy a good brunch place? It sounds like everybody's getting into the action and I'm glad that this restaurant is nearby. When I said nearby, I mean Manor. As we are growing as a community, we need additional restaurants to fit our lifestyle. This place was packed when we got here. We were literally waiting 25 minutes to get through the doors an additional 15 for a seat. It's not the fault of the restaurant, it sounds like people had in mind to go out for brunch at the same time. Even the servers thought it was unusual for the crowd that showed up. The food is really good. I like their selections and their service was spot on. I really like even in a rush-hour, the servers didn't feel rushed at all. They were cordial and moved on and did not partake in conversation, knowing how many people were jonsing to get served. Lots of floor space and parking lot was perfect. I would suggest coming during the week for brunch rather than on a Sunday. And if you come on a Sunday come early is all I need to add.

First Watch has a great breakfast menu, they offer so many options and everything is fresh and perfectly cooked. I love eggs, Benedict and they offer several different types. I love their breakfast potatoes and aside from the fresh ingredients they use, their coffee is also so fresh. At this location our service was wonderful and since it's new, the dining area sparkles, they have a wonderful rustic farmhouse decor.

Super Close to Home and Very, very good. Service started off slow...honestly I dont think anyone told the waitress she had guests at her section....but finished off strong. Place is super clean and Inviting...Wife had Eggs, Taters and Toast...All very good...GD had a pancake...it was huge and a side of ham...And I had the Chilaquiles with Barbacoa...exceptionally good...will check to see if they have Goat Cheese next time around as this would make for an epic addition...Also grabbed a Lemon Blueberry Cornbread....Im the Only one who likes that flavor profile so it was a win, win for me.... also ordered 2 sides of Million Dollar Bacon.....Not a huge fan of maple style bacon, but there is something about this we truly enjoy, and its a must order everytime we go.

This is my favorite First Watch location. We joined the waitlist easily and were seated quickly, even on a busy morning. The service was amazing, attentive, and super helpful walking us through the menu and answering all our questions. The food was so flavorful. My eggs benedict came with the most delicious hollandaise sauce, the waffle was perfectly crispy (just how I like it!), and the omelets were pretty big if you ask me. Everything we ordered was fresh and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this location for anyone wanting a great breakfast experience!

This place is kind of really a 3.6 star. The food here is passable/okay can't really go wrong. Better than what you find in a lower end place. The inside is decorated to have the farmhouse look. The staff were pretty nice and attentive. We came in during a very busy Sunday brunch hour and had to wait about 20 mins to be seated. Our food took even longer to arrive. Nothing from the menu really struck out to be so i just got a skillet. The food turned out to be pretty basic (something you can get in your own kitchen). If you are in the area and don't mind waiting but also need a bite, this place can't really go wrong. But I don't think I plan to return since nothing else in the menu interest me. At the moment they also don't serve dinner.

I would say it's a [3.5 stars]. There was some wait time to get a table for 2, which wasn't too bad. The interior is decorated in a modern farm house style, looks cute on the inside. Our server was sweet and attentive. The reasons for 3.5 stars as of now: * Very long wait for food -- about 30 min after we ordered everything. Pretty long time for casual and breakfast food. Not gonna lie, I was getting cranky because of being hungry. * My smoked salmon omelette was just okay. Pretty small compared to some other breakfast places I've been to. Needed hot sauce to make up to very small amount of seasoning. Lots of leafy greens on a plate but it doesn't make much difference. * The skillet dish that my boyfriend ordered wasn't served on a skillet, so it kind of doesn't make sense to call it a skillet. * Also you could see some of the back of the house from where we sat and there was lots of debris on the floor and a puddle of water....

Stopped by First Watch for a breakfast and really enjoyed it! We had the pancakes with bacon and eggs - classic and well done. And I ordered the Healthy Turkey omelette (egg whites with cheese and veggies) and it was super tasty, light but satisfying. The coffee was smooth and the fresh green juice (no added sugar) was a refreshing, healthy touch. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed - perfect for a weekend morning. Will definitely be back!

We like First Watch for their high-quality ingredients and consistency of food preparation. Another unique First Watch deliverable is the seasoning on their foods. You almost never have to add salt, pepper or hot sauce. My hubby and I had breakfast at First Watch. He had the French Toast with Blueberry Sauce and I had Avocado Toast with egg whites. The Avocado Toast was delicious with only three ingredients avocado, toast and extra virgin olive oil (on the menu EVOO...I had to ask what that meant...probably the only person on the planet that did not know. My hubby looked at me when I asked the question as if I am so embarrassed that you did not know that. However, if you do not ask, you will not know. It did not phase me one bit.) So, now I know...if you did not know, now you know. Smile. The foundation of the avocado toast was a piece of hearty thick-cut whole grain toast topped with a layer of fresh smashed avocado, lightly tossed with EVOO. I opted for two cage-free egg whites on the side. You can always tell fresh eggs because they are not watery. These eggs were as fluffy as a cloud. This dish was very filling and delicious...so much food I could only eat half of my toast. The remainder of my toast was packed up to go. My hubby opted for the decadent First Watch's French toast. These two thick slices of brioche bread were lightly toasted to a golden brown. Inside the French toast had a soft, custardy consistency yet not soggy. The outside of the French toast was crispy and flavorful when drizzled with the blueberry sauce and syrup. The French toast paired nicely with the blueberry sauce and syrup...tangy and sweet simultaneously. My hubby ate both pieces of his toast. Brittany, our server, was fantastic! She frequently checked on us to ensure that we were having a great dining experience. Brittany was a top notch server! While we do not dine frequently at First Watch, we always feel at home and very welcomed. One server opened the door for us when we entered the restaurant to say good morning and welcome. Brittany opened the door for us as we left to say thank you, have a nice day and look forward to seeing you soon. It is these nice little touches that make us want to visit again.

I'm glad to have this new addition to the neighborhood in a budding entertainment complex that will soon be a prominent part of the area. The service here was good and the food was delicious.

We finally have a great breakfast/lunch spot in northeast Austin. First Watch elevates breakfast to the next level and we are so happy. We also don't have to travel for miles. The atmosphere is of modern farmhouse decor. Their dishes have that farm to table freshness and individually unique. They've stepped outside of traditional recipes and remade old favorites. With this trip being a soft open, I can't rate their service as there were many trainee servers. Everyone at the opening did a fantastic job. We definitely plan on returning!

From the moment we walked in, the hostess gave us a warm welcome, and we were seated right away. It took our server a little while to get to our table, but she arrived with waters in hand, which was appreciated. We started with the fried green tomatoes. They were good, though I've definitely had better back home in Houston. For my entrée, I ordered the Badass Bacon Plate, and it absolutely hit the spot. Everything on the plate was delicious, from the thick-cut slab of bacon to the perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. I especially appreciated that the eggs were seasoned before cooking, something I don't often see at restaurants, and it really made a difference. The hash brown casserole was also fantastic and tied the whole meal together. My brother ordered the fried chicken biscuit and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Although our server was clearly very busy, the restaurant had a great team approach. Other staff members checked on us, refilled drinks, and made sure we had everything we needed, so we never felt neglected. We were excited to try the food, and were hungry. Our server appeared (I can't remember his name but he was a short guy with blond hair). I ordered a cocktail and my husband ordered beer to begin with. He went away and then came back asking my husband if he wanted some whiskey cocktail, and we corrected him that we had asked for a particular beer. No big deal. We then ordered the deviled eggs and shishito peppers, and the red fish and short ribs for entree. A lady brought us the drinks, and the deviled eggs. Our server swung by and then disappeared. We thought the shishito peppers were on their way. We waited for what seemed like a really long time and still no shishito peppers. We also noticed that each table had a carafe of water except ours. We were just given water once, and then our server never bothered to fill the water up. Anyway, we kept waiting since there was no sign of the server. At this point, we felt he might have forgotten the second appetizer and we just did not want it, but he was nowhere to be found. A man (not our server) brought out our entrees. We then told him that we had been waiting for our second appetizer and would just want to cancel it. We asked if we could get the biscuits instead. He brought out the biscuits within a few minutes. Now this is where it really annoyed us. Had our server just come over and said he had forgotten our shishito peppers, it would have been okay. Human. What he tried was act smart and dropped by saying the shishito peppers would be out to which we said that we didn't want an appetizer after an entree and had cancelled it. I almost felt like he was treating us as if he thought we don't really dine out or whatever and he could just make fools of us. This really didn't sit right with me. We asked him for water and he filled it up left. The food was above average. The short ribs were good but my red fish had been hammered! The biscuits were good. The deviled eggs were good as well. Anyway, we finished our meal, and got the check, paid, and were waiting to finish our drinks. The receipt was on our table. Also, note, it was not a particularly busy day with several empty tables. What our server did next was absolutely unacceptable. I think he wanted to see if we had tipped him after his awful service. We did, but not 20% as we always do because of the soddy job he did, not to mention his attitude. We paid 15% which I think was more than what he deserved now. Out of nowhere, and mind you, after being absent for long periods before, he just came by, grabbed the paid up bill from our table to our shock, while we were still sitting and talking, looked at the bill, turned towards us, and muttered something angry under his breath and walked away. I have never seen this level of entitlement and bad behavior. We left right away. We had been really looking forward to this meal but I would not want to go back. The food was good, but not great, and I would not want to put up with such obnoxious behavior as a paying customer.
