I flagged the staff down and stated it seemed the kung pao was double salted but was told no it wasnt. I said no really its overly salty and he said thats the way kung pao comes. My wife stated it was inedible due to the amount of salt and that the rice was lovely. He took the plate and walked off. No apologies, no indication if they would recook it for us or offer of any other options. He simply disappeared into the kitchen for a while. I stood at the register to simply pay so we could leave. When he finally came to ring us up he did not charge us for the food we didn't eat which was fair. I just wish service was a bit better as we left still hungry and picked up a slice of pizza on the way home. The trouble is that the order doesn't come in 30 to 40 minutes, but instead you're left waiting up to an hour (or more) for your "estimated time of delivery" The food itself is good, nothing special, but traditional Chinese takeout, hence the 3 star rating. I thought it was a little pricey for the amount of food I ordered. For 1 order of shrimp toast, small shrimp with broccoli and Singapore Mai Fun, the total was $38 with tax, tip, delivery fee. And the portion of the shrimp with broccoli was tiny! Would I order from here again? Probably not, as I don't like being misled about how long it will take to receive a delivery order, and I don't think the price, with delivery fee is justified in relation to the quality of the food.
