This is usually my go to Chinese in the area as it's been very good in the past. I'm not sure if it's because it's a Friday at 639pm, but our order was pretty nasty. Chewy chicken (chicken and broccoli order) eggrolls that tasted old "oil", pork fried rice was smelly and the half fried chicken also tasted like it was cooked in old oil. I'm still a fan, but in the interests of full disclosure, I have to say that I ordered the "Happy Family" recently, and was less than happy. I counted one piece of shrimp in the dish and numerous pieces of slimy, "mock" crab, which I found inedible. String beans were added, which I don't remember from the past, but it really didn't make for a more positive dining experience. Maybe they were having an off-day, or maybe I was, but it is possible to get a less than stellar meal here. read more

This place is phenomenal. Under new ownership as of 2 years ago which is great since the previous owners were rude. The food is delicious. My go-to is the General Tso's chicken and it is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Pieces of chicken have just the right amount of crisp, are not too "tough" and the portion is very good for what they charge. Don't let the appearance of the storefront fool you! Orders are always made in a timely manner no matter how busy they are. Wishing I lived closer to this place but I look forward to visiting when I'm in the area! read more

My go to Chinese food spot. The place is always clean, and the service is always wonderful. I love the food!! My usual is the boneless spare ribs, not dry in most places and it's so tasty. My favorite hole in the wall. Middlesex is not known for their food but if you want a delicious great service place, go here! Eating in house is nice because they are quick and the food is delicious. Convenient location and a friendly staff makes the one of the better places for lunch. The lunch specials are $5.50 and come with a soup or can of soda. The food is flavorful, but not spicy. Went to this Chinese Eat-in/take out place along Lincoln Boulevard for my Americanized Chinese food craving. Ordering ahead of time and picking up the food was a relatively pleasant experience. The food was altogether not pleasant. Among the worst I've ever eaten. The ratio of broccoli to chicken seemed to be about 10 to 1. Of the few pieces of chicken in the dish, they were mostly all tiny little strips and almost no substantial meaty pieces at all. The broccoli and the chicken did not seem fresh and the broccoli had a pronounced "off" taste that I can't really describe. I would suggest going elsewhere. read more

First and last time I try this place. I was looking for a lunch special that was reasonable and tasty. The price was right, $4.99, but you get what you pay for. Most lunch specials include choice of rice, egg roll or soup or can of soda. Egg roll is not offered and I didn't like the soup selection. When I saw that the place was empty sans three poor souls eating in, I should have known better. One of them left a heaping mound of fried rice on their plate, which should have been a red flag. We ordered 2 barbeque rib specials, shrimp & lobster sauce and pork with garlic sauce. I also ordered 3 additional roast pork egg rolls. The ribs consisted of three over cooked, chewy, tough small pieces consistent with the texture of my leather boot. Some were black. Flavorless, dry pork fried rice with the pieces of pork so small I had to sift through the rice to find them. Neither of the meals were special or impressive. They were bland and less than mediocre. The "roast pork " egg roll was filled with cabbage and some chewed up looking red meat, I assume was supposed to be pork? I asked for a plastic bag for my 3 soups. She said I can fit it in the bag with the 4 meals and a can of soda. Really? How much is a plastic bag? I had to lie and say it was going to another house just to get an extra bag. Skip this place. Very friendly staff, clean place, great for takeout. They package the food to-go perfectly so nothing gets soggy (for example, separating crispy chicken from veggies and sauce). They're very accommodating and will make your food just how you like it. Prices are also reasonable. The only Chinese takeout we'll go to in the area and outside of our "town". read more
