When I visited recently a half an hour before closing time, the staff seemed irritated that they had to take another order and fire up the grill again...mind you I walked in at 6:30 not 6:50 when they close at 7. My flounder sandwich was large and fresh, but tasted like nothing as if no salt or seasoning was used in the fry batter. My wife said the same about her grilled halibut, fresh but lacking in flavor. I prefer to give my business to non-chain restaurants, this place fits the bill. Second, the food. I ordered a hot lobster roll and the chowda. The chowda came first and it was hot and flavorful. The lobster roll took a little bit, but the time was offset by eating that delicious chowda. The lobster roll was just what I was looking for. It was hot, had excellent flavor and I felt the portion size was worth the spend. Too often, I go to other places where they carefully cut the break to make it look large only to find the lobster only covers the top most layer and is held in place by bread. Not the case here, what you see is what you get and that made me happy. The staff were very friendly. Although I am not from the area, I heard them greet many of the folks that walked through the door by name. That says something, I'm sure if if lived here, this plaice would be in my regular go-to list. So, that just means I need to find a reason to visit the area more often. Highly recommend!

It's so clean and well organized. This place is my dream come true. They have everything you need to live a cleaner, less toxic, and less wasteful life. Finally, I told the shopper, Andrew, to cancel the order. He texted back, "the entire order? " And I said "yes, the entire order as I will have to go to another grocery store anyways". Two hours later the order shows up at my house. I told the driver to return the order and that I wanted a refund. He informed me that I would have to call the store. I called Roche Bros in Sudbury and was told that it would take at least 10 days to get a refund! I said that this was unacceptable as I had cancelled the order before Andrew check outed and I had proof of this with the texts on my phone. The manager at Sudbury Farms then hung up on me. I cannot understand how they can get away with this. I can only warn others to beware.
