I ordered a crap ton of stuff: Cream Pie (creamy chicken), Curry Pie (think delicious Japanese…read morecurry), Ratatouille Pie, Pasta Carbonara, and Chicken Risotto. Why? Because I never get down this way, and I just happened to be in Lehi, looking for a place to eat, when I found PoPie on Yelp. I'm fond of meat pies, from my time in New Zealand and Australia, so I had to make the 20 minute drive to American Fork to try as much as possible. Verdict: I LOVED everything. Flaky crusts, delicious fillings, and the ratatouille pie was the biggest pleasant surprise of the lot; I've never been a big fan of ratatouille, but anytime it appears I think, "Maybe this one will be different." It was. Possibly because it was in a pie filling? Not sure. Was also pleasantly surprised by the Chicken Risotto. Good amount of black pepper, not overly salty, but plenty of flavor. The curry and cream pies, and the carbonara pasta are absolutely safe bets. Don't worry, I didn't eat it all in one sitting, I took a couple of bites of each item and called it good. ;) Hope to get my family down to try this place. I did drive thru, so not sure about ambience. Service was great.

They had front and back door open while they were cleaning it and it was freezing! You couldn't sit in the restaurant to eat. Not good business practice to do this during business hours! Back to the curry pie...it was the best crust! Flaked and cooked perfectly. The pork curry filling was flavorful. We will definitely be back to try others

What a treat to have a great Italian restaurant in American Fork…read more The onion foccacia, bruschetta and carbonara were very good. My sister raved about the pesto lasagna plus, the portion could have fed all three of us. We had the coffee tiramisu for dessert and it was light, creamy and delicious. Service staff was well informed about the menu and the restaurant. Overall, service was good. We were happy to hear that Mastra will be expanding to a nearby location so they can handle all the fans of their fabulous handmade food. We've already recommended Mastra to others.

There were about 5 employees working the front of the house and each one checked in on us. I was also very impressed that the entire time we were there, they were cleaning, dusting, polishing glasses, etc. instead of sitting around or goofing off since they weren't that busy. We ordered onion focaccia bread, pesto lasagna, cacio e Pepe. And for dessert the Nutella focaccia. The food was all pretty good, but we were a little underwhelmed.. the onion focaccia was good but we liked the bread more and probably would've preferred the classic focaccia. The pesto lasagna had amazing flavors and came out hot. But the sides were hard and maybe not cooked all the way through. We definitely will be back to try other menu items though.

From the moment…read morewe arrived, it was easy to see why this family-owned orchard has such a great reputation. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, creating a relaxed, hometown atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The fresh peach we bought was absolutely incredible--perfectly ripe, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the difference that comes from fresh, locally grown fruit. We also treated ourselves to a cherry sundae, which was refreshing, delicious, and the perfect way to cool off on a warm day. The real surprise, though, was the apple cider donuts. We bought half a dozen thinking they'd last a while, but they disappeared much faster than expected! They were soft, fresh, perfectly coated in cinnamon sugar, and easily some of the best donuts we've had. If you're driving through Alpine or exploring Utah County, Burgess Orchards is definitely worth a stop. Whether you're looking for fresh fruit, homemade treats, or just a fun local experience, this place delivers. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the area, and we'll probably leave with even more peaches and donuts than we did this time! Check out our video on our socials @reessroots

They were kind enough to give me a little cup on the side. The peaches beginning of September were good although not super sweet. Be prepared to wait a little bit since there's usually a decent crowd. I love that they have a nice little patch of grass to relax on while you enjoy your sweet treat! Not sure when they officially close for the season, but worth looking into before stopping by.
