I was recently in-store to pick-up a grocery order and decided to browse the women's clearance section. There were a ton of items that had already been marked down that had an additional 30-90% off. An employee came over to me and asked if I had previously purchased items from the racks when the percentage off was lower. I told them that I had not. They informed me, for future reference, that if I ever do and the items get marked down more, I can bring in my receipt to request a price adjustment! I found several quality items for myself, and my daughter marked down to some great prices. One item didn't fit and the return process was quick and easy. read more

This review is for Meijer pharmacy. After trying several different area pharmacies over the years I have appreciated this Meijer pharmacy location. They are fast and efficient. Refills can be ordered easily on the app, with just a few clicks. I especially appreciate the fast service at the drive thru. I usually prefer going in to a store or restaurant rather than using the drive thru but this is a nice option to pick up a prescription if you are in a hurry and not planning to go into the store. read more

Told me to come back in 2 hrs for RX to be ready. Came back no Rx is not ready, comeback later maybe tomorrow. Turns out they can't figure out directions and hadn't called the Doctor. Pharmacist said they called but Doctor said no. An another trip to the Doctor and back to pharmacy just to fill one non narcotic RX. Never shop at Mejer. Sorry I had to give one star. read more

We were in town with some friends who had never been to Meijer before for the Great Eclipse of 2024. Being from Michigan and proud to have shopped at Meijer for probably 40 years, I had to introduce or friends to Meijer. Since the eclipse was still several hours away, we decided we needed some snackery to while away the afternoon, waiting for The Great Darkness. This Meijer was just down the road from hour hotel, so it was easy. We took great delight in showing Meijer off to our friends from Albuquerque. We walked them through every department. Shoes. Grocery. Deli. Bakery. Pets. Automotive. Hardware. You get the idea. They were rightfully WOW'd by everything. To the snackery stuffs we went, grabbing a variety pack of chips (mandatorily, Doritos® and Dr Pepper®), some beef jerky, and some nuts. While we didn't have any staff engagement while we were here, we were glad to see personnel stocking shelves and being very present. If we needed help we wouldn't have had to go very far. This Meijer layout is what I've come to call the New Generation. Wider aisle and greatly differently arranged than the Meijer of olde. After decades I like to see that Meijer doesn't get stale and frequently updates their locations. I also have to tout the their Frederik's line of food items. In the unlikely event we find ourselves in Carmel again, I know where there's an awesome Meijer. And our friends from Albuquerque do as well. read more

Jane in the liquor section was SO incredibly sweet, all I did was look in a couple spots and she helped me with finding my choice. She also was the kindest and bought the three of us in our group the most beautiful flowers because I told her we passed our final exams and came to celebrate. The Meijer grocery store is ultra clean and has everything that you could need. I went early when they open at 6 am and the shelves were fully stocked. Fresh fruit and vegetables greeted us in a relatively empty store at this early hour. Prices are great on produce and most of there dry goods. I bought a lot of cheese today. They offer a lot of brand options. Staff are wearing masks and customers are required to wear masks. I am grateful for the dedicated staff that are providing us with grocery services. Their toy department is vast. I picked up some classic kids books for cheap. There was also an amazing assortment of Easter candy, decor and gifts. They have everything. I was excited to pick up supplies for my garden today. They had onion sets and potato sets in stock and priced reasonably. I had been looking for onion sets all over town and was ecstatic to dismally find them. They had a great selection of fruiting vines that looked healthy. In their pharmacy, they offer free flu shots. Self check out was not perfect. The clerk needed to fix a few things that did not have bar codes. The parking lot is sprawling and gets very crowed during peak hours. I avoid it during those times. They also have a gas station which I have not visited. Overall, I will be back. And always shop early. read more

Seriously someone needs to just smack me the next time I say I'm going to Meijer. They time the cashiers on how fast they get customers thru the line. It isn't about customer service at all. I know I'm going to be seen as just a bitchy person to a lot of people but come on. I put like items together on the belt. Cold with cold , can with cans, boxed items together. And house hold chemicals together. Bread eggs chips last. It does no good when it is all rang up as fast as they can and it all ends up at the end if they belt together. They force more and more people to self scan. Self scan equals less jobs. My next trip, yes there will be a next trip, after I smack myself, I am going to do several transactions instead of one big one. That way I can keep stuff separated. Rant over for today. read more

Meijer produce, ground turkey, and rotisserie chickens are the best! However, most of their prices are higher than other supermarkets, and their policy of having to buy 2 or more items to get sale price have almost eliminated my shopping there. Seniors and others with limited storage space do not want to buy more than they need. Go back to selling 2 @ whatever $, but halve that price if customer only wants or needs one. The 7/$7 or 10/$10 are the worst. Who wants to buy what they don't need, more than they need, or keep track of those items? Not me. Shopping should be a good, not frustrating, experience. Can't go wrong with Meijer but you get what you pay for here. Cheap prices and mediocre quality of items. They have an array of products so you can do more than just grocery shopping which is probably why it's always so busy. I used to go into the store before Covid and now I just do pick up orders. The staff is pretty friendly for the most part however I've ran into a few cashiers who wished they were somewhere else. This review is specific to Meijer Pickup. Pre-COVID, I shopped in-store and enjoyed the experience. Meijer is generally clean and well-stocked and I can find what I need. I recently did a Meijer Pickup order. Note: this was the weekend before Thanksgiving, so I'm curious if my experience was atypical due to the upcoming holiday. Long story short: I arrived at the pickup area outside the Starbucks entrance and texted the number provided, and it took a grand total of 30 minutes for an employee to bring out my order. There were four other cars waiting alongside me. It's clear they were understaffed, as the poor employee was the only one bringing out groceries. It was also odd because earlier that afternoon, a Meijer employee called me to go through the substitutions and out-of-stock items, and to let me know my order was ready early and I could come pick it up. Overall, I found Meijer's pickup experience to be inefficient, especially compared to Kroger. With Kroger, everything is done within the app, including accepting/declining substitutions and letting the store know I'm on my way or I've arrived. I never wait more than five minutes tops at Kroger. Meijer would benefit to have the pickup area be separate from the busy main entrance. Kroger's system works well because their pick-up is on the side of the building so the employees don't have to walk far to get to customers. read more

Meijer is a wonderful grocery store in Carmel that has a wide selection of products and all varieties of products that you can imagine. I came in to get some groceries since I was in the neighborhood, and I forgot how wonderful the prices are and how fresh everything is in the produce selection. They have other departments in the store such as clothes, kitchenware, tools, and a garden center as well. It is like a Wal-Mart, except this is not as big, and the variety is not as massive as Wal-Mart can be, depending on what Wal-Mart you go to. At least that is my personal opinion. But regardless, I am happy with the selection of products and the deals they have throughout the store. The staff are helpful if you need something and willing to guide you to the right aisle if you are looking for something in particular. All in all, this is a great place for groceries and other things you need for your home. The price is right and the quality of products is superb! What else can you ask for? read more

Meijer has the best produce! I came to this location to by ingredients for homemade pizza. All of the items were fresh, clean, and free from gnats. I hate when I walk into a grocery store and I see gnats all over the produce, I don't see the issue at Meijer. I love this location and the workers are always nice and courteous. read more

The owners of these stores must have very well deep rooted ." House" rules where their first priority is ready supply for their customers and very happy employees. Their hours are great. The store is impeccable. If an item comes out of shelf, it goes back where it belongs. All shelves are perfectly lined and items straight, so easy to find things rather than search the shelf to see if it was placed somewhere else. The only thing I would say is if you're a big grocery shopper or late night shopper, go a little earlier, because then their isles are packed with all the shipment boxes that they're going to put out for the next day, They have many departments in their store, which is awesome if you need a gift or your coffee pot needs replacing because you are having 10 people over. Also in grocery, as a shopper the first time there try look at everything if you can because you may see things on their shelves that you haven't seen in years! Coming from a northern State over to Indiana with many years of retail experience behind me, It's easy to take note because it's unusual for me to see. Pharmacy is a JOKE. Called to confirm pricing of an antibiotic which I confirmed TWICE. Came to get it and there's a charge when I was told it was was of their free meds. I told them this and the girl said she sorry and it was a mistake but nothin could be done. I was looking into my options, came back less than 10 mins later, and another girl rang me up, Kerrie. I asked her to price match and the girl who initially rang me up butt in to rudely say they don't do it so i spoke to the pharmacist who wouldn't budge either to correct their mistake. She offered $5 through the front end but said they returned the medication and it'd be a 15-20 mins wait!! I didn't ask them to return it initially so why the hell did they???? Useless pharmacy and staff. Got the doc to call it in elsewhere. read more

Can't complain about Meijer outside of the parking sometimes long lines. Later evening hours and early morning are usually find to get in and out quickly for your shopping. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The store is pretty clean squally stocked well. Groceries are on the right side of the store and cosmetics/toiletries/pharmacy is on the left. Middle of the store is clothes then kitchen/home and back is electronics. read more

This place is like Target meets Walmart. Thankfully, it's way more Target than Walmart -- otherwise I'd never shop here. You can do most or all of your grocery shopping here, as well as buy things for the house, clothes, greeting cards, gardening supplies, etc. The produce has always been fresh when I visited, so I have no qualms about making this Meijer one of my stops in my regular grocery shopping routine. A neat thing they have here is a mechanical horse for kids to ride, and it's only 1 cent! My goodness, that's awesome. As my kid rode the horse, I looked down and saw a pile of pennies just waiting for some lucky kids to use to take a ride. A 1 cent ride and a pile of pennies: I love Hoosiers. If this was on the West Coast, it would cost 50 cents to ride the horse, and you'd have to sign a waiver that releases the store from any liability. read more

Like the produce & spacious attractive store. I appreciate the friendly greeters & cashiers. I feel sad to learn the store discriminates against elderly & women at the Carmel store. Policy is not followed when it comes to produce. I have a receipt with my Mperks & not a paper copy & a $4 return was not granted to me. I called corporate to report & no one has returned my phone call form the district. i remember the wonderful employee at customer service who suggested the watermelon on sale & gave me a description to be certain I selected the seedless one. I have experienced a feeling of rejection at this store previously & it is not consistent...confusing!. if one does not have a paper receipt because some employees state they can not find it on Mperks...This is why I used MPERKS to have accountability! I feel sad to learn some employees choose to follow their own code I sense a change in mgmt in the last 2 yrs...& Meijer is a wonderful community resource & place to visit when life is limited. If plan on going to this Meijer you might want to cut your shopping list in half cuz chances are they won't have what your looking for in stock. And if you ask to see if there might be some available in the back they act as if a huge burden to do their job, but then again if they were good at there job I wouldn't have to ask because it actually be out on the shelf. read more

I can't stop thinking about the $12.99 four foot tall indoor palm plants at Meijer. I literally stood in the aisle for a solid three minutes thinking of all the friends in my life who could use a palm plant or two in their house, front porch, bathroom, anywhere, everywhere. $12.99 and that generously-size interior plant could be the game changer your home needs. Then I began to think about how I'd fit said palms in my car. Seriously, you guys, the floral/fauna department at this Meijer is pretty impressive. Succulents, orchids, hyacinths, hanging plants, fresh cuts, you name it. Beyond the greens, you'll find a spacious and easy to navigate floor plan (like most other jumbo businesses in Carmel). Even the parking spaces are bigger up here. This Meijer offers a drive thru pharmacy, full grocery, clothing departments and again, beautiful flora and fauna department. read more

Hey- it's Meijer. You basically know what to expect. However, this location just got renovated and therefore it's time to acknowledge it and gave the place an okay rating. For the most part, everything is well-stocked and you're always greeted when you walk in. There's a ton of self-check-out stations, so you never have to wait long- super nice. The location is the best part about this place- as there's entrances from three big streets, tons of parking, and convenience in being located by several restaurants (Chipotle, Which Wich, the Old Meridian strip of restaurants, a gas station, Cycle Bar, etc.). read more

I have gone to this Meijer for YEARS!!!! This evening was the second time in two nights that my husband and I had come to take advantage of the sale that they had on their clothes.... To my fault, both nights I was walking out at closing (midnight), where the first night I was greeted with assistance and kindness. Tonight....... My partner and I with a cart FULL of clothes (mind you, that we purchase with our own money to donate to women and children of abuse) a sales associate was coming over the speaker announcing that they would be closing in 30, then 20, then 10 and so on. At 11:55 as my partner was walking towards the self check out ( while I was limping that direction with a new pair of shoes because I have a bad sprain) another associate started to talk to us in the most grotesque manner. He insisted we leave everything where it was, pulled merchandise away from us and just kept repeating that we needed to leave immediately. There was never a moment of offering us an opportunity to leave our cart at customer service where we could retrieve our items upon opening. There was just a look of disgust. When I informed him that we were running behind because an associate that worked there couldn't locate the large storage bins in which we desperately needed! Those bins were going to get packed with clothes, groceries, toys and essentials for these families. When I tell you hat we spend 10's of thousands of dollars in Meijer every year... THAT MIGHT BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT! My heart is broken and I'm appalled that we were treated this way!! Never again will I return to Meijer. read more

Meijer is a poor man's Target and a rich man's Walmart. I would literally rather watch a Colts game in its entirety than ever step foot into a Walmart and my bank account can't afford the random impulses of Target. Enter Meijer. It's a grocery store, home store, hardware store and pharmacy all in one. This is the best collaboration since Taco Bell and Doritos came together. Meijer is my go-to store for pretty much everything. I use their pharmacy, do my grocery shopping there, and get my gas there. Staff is always super friendly (although not always easy to find in the grocery area). Self check out is quick. And I love their MPerks program. It's set up so that every time you spend $100, you save $2 off your next trip. I also highly recommend the app, as it has a ton of coupons and tracks your spending to show you what favorites of yours are on sale. read more

I really enjoy this Meijer location. I went to this store when I lived in Carmel and still find myself going there now living in Broad Ripple. The store is 24 hours and always very clean. Highly recommend their liquor section! Great selection of craft beer and wine. It's a go- to. read more

I needed to stop and pick a few things up after my cycle bar class. Still wearing my workout clothes, I figured it would be an in-and-out trip, with only less than 10 items needed to purchase. My overall experience was okay. I found everything I needed on my grocery list (I sound like a grandma saying that- lol). Anywho, my only pet peeve. Something was spilled and left sticky trails throughout the produce, frozen foods, and even up to the checkout lines areas. I was sticking to the floor and so was my cart! Talk about the struggle being real pushing the shopping cart, now I look weak to on-lookers lol.
