Stopped in here yesterday morning for a real quick pick up of a couple produce items. First time I've been to this particular store in about 25 years. Last time was picking up developed film on the double print special back in the mid 90s They must've added onto the store because I had never really remembered it being this huge although I was only upfront in the produce section I could see all the way to the back wall and was amazed at how large it was Service was super friendly because hardly anybody except for my dad and I were in the store. The produce section had exactly what we needed so was happy with that. Looked around at some of the other prices and produce, and was not that impressed with some of the quality and pricing on items that we did not need. Very unlikely I return anytime soon this was pretty much a one stop event. we shop at Costco Sam's Club and Kroger's for 99% of our grocery needs and do not really need anything else from the department store side of the store read more

This store is the absolute worst and their employees are not smart. Went to use my Meijiers gift card at their gas station and the employees working there said I couldn't use it inside the store but at the pump. People can't use the gift cards outside; they must be used inside the store( like Krogers). They can't get it to work. I had to drive over to the store to get a manager. She was no help either. Called corporate. They were even worst. This is the worst chain of grocery stores. read more

Shoppers for delivery! Always out of stock on certain items yet the website states you have them. Shipt shoppers that have shopped my order aren't aware of grocery shopping! And yes, I COULD shop myself if I was able to but unfortunately I can not due to health and besides that , if you offer delivery then maybe figure it out to fix that issues with the " shoppers" I gave it one last chance and Walmart shoppers have Shipt shoppers beat! The staff is nice. I prefer Kroger to Meijer. I often see things at this Meijer that are way out of date. Sometimes, they're marked down, and sometimes they're not. They're just sitting on the shelf noticeably expired and no one's going to buy them. Unfortunately, I've experienced that several times at this location; in the meat department, produce, and dairy. have been shopping there a while and for months there were mobility scooters I could use as I have trouble walking. last couple of months there have been no scooters to use and I see nobody using them as I shop. and I usually shop weekdays when there are low crowds, not weekends where I get more people shop so less chance there may be any available. not going to continue shopping there if they don't return the scooters for those of us who need them. read more

I started doing all of the surveys, that they sent me after shopping. I always praised the morning greeters on the grocery side of the store. I always shopped, at 6am. I asked the greeter one day if she got all of the things that I said about her and she said "NO"! No, more surveys for me! read more

I use to like the store until I live by it! They're rude and get deliveries in the middle of the night even tho the store closes at midnight and there's signs posted that there's a 10pm curfew!! I'm awakened by the rumbles from the truck motor and refrigerated trailer because they give me headaches. They have ZERO consideration for the residents and most complain but afraid to really speak up to the township or to the store itself. You need to get your store under control. This has always been my favorite grocery story nearby, although it causes me so much stress each time I go shopping. The last time the produce department looked terrible including items with stuff growing on them, noticing expired foods and having one register open outside of the self check out. I stood in multiple lines to then have the employee say her register was closed. I then had to take my full cart through the self check out and upset everyone behind me when it was out of my control. I got home to find that my lunch meat was sealed with the sticker, but not closed so I had to dispose. I contacted Meijer regarding this issue, but have not heard back. I would rather travel to a farther grocery store to get great service and not take thirty minutes to check out. I hope this can change so I can have my nearby grocery store back again. read more

After 2 years, I decided to give this store on Springboro Pike another try. WRONG!! The reason I refused to shop there in 2 years as that they almost always had only one line open. Guess what? Nothing has changed! Will you tell me why they need a greeter at each door? Put these peoplebehind cash registers. I drive farther to go to the store on Wilmington which had 6 lines open the last time I was there! Why such a discrepancy?. Selection is adequate, but not superior. Registers used to have long waits, but they've put in a lot more self service checkouts.

I have been a Meijer customer since this location first opened. Through the years I have seen the ups and downs of service which is not limited to the deplorable conditions in the the restrooms. This Meijer underwent a total "rehab" which didn't last very long. The "old timers" so to speak whom I recognize are the ones I look for when I need something. As for the "younger generation" several of them seem to have absolutely no customer service training and really don't seem to care. A good example was when I shopped there earlier this week. The store was not crowded, I was able to find an open lane and it was downhill from there. The cashier was rude, non-responsive to my questions and flatly told me, as she was ringing up my purchases, that she had filled the carousel and said words to the effect that it was my "job" to place them in the cart. I complied, and was helped by another Meijer employee who "came to my rescue." I had told this cashier that I had coupons and wanted cash back. She took the coupons but did not follow up with the cash back option with a dismissive attitude. The one thing I can say for sure is that going forward, I will, if possible, never go to her check out lane again! And, one more thing, when I googled this location to find the manager's name so I could send a letter of complaint, it wasn't listed....hmmmm, I wonder why? read more

If you shop sales you'll do good here. They have a Meijer brand diet grape 12 pack soda I like. I like being able to get exact measured ground beef after 9 AM. Walmart's everyday prices are so much cheaper than Miejer's are it would be fool hardy to shop here. Literally many of my weekly items here cost .50 cents to $1 more here. Miejer has one of the best produce sections around. Prices are higher, but stuff looks fresher here than Walmart. I have one major complaint: The workers don't seem to really want to help you out. 2 Visits in a row I asked where something was and got a huffy "don't bother me" attitude. Also store shelf stockers seem very rude and huffy if they have to stop and step aside while you get your one product. Memo to workers: You have a job because the customers SHOP THERE!!!! I probably will just go to Walmart for groceries for now on, since I KNOW they are cheaper anyway. Usually when sales happen they only get it to the Walmart price anyway, or a dime below. read more

Rarely shop here, and today reminded me why. Checking out is awful. I do not understand on a Sunday afternoon why 4 lanes open seems logical. Oh but wait ! Aisle 21 has opened and we get to move there. Seems great. Wrong. Way wrong. It took our cashier 20 minutes (no exaggeration) to scan our medium sized load. She even stopped scanning to answer her personal phone. Ruined my entire day. Will not be going back. read more

SKIP THE BAKERY MAKING YOU A CAKE!!!!! Order a Steelers cake for my daughter's bday party. Picked the design out of their book, told them that's what I wanted. Went the next day to pick up and it was definitely NOT how the picture showed!! Steelers = black & yellow, correct???! Um..YES!! This cake was outlined in Red icing on the top of the cake, Blue icing around the bottom & Red writing!! Let's not forget the uneven icing thickness throughout the entire 1\2 sheet cake, several areas where you could see the cake because there was little to no icing AND the picture/writing was not even on the middle of the cake. It looked ridiculous!! I complained, the decorator said she could fix it but we had to be to the party in 5 minutes!! The manager at the service desk gave us 50% off the cake after we complained to him, I appreciated that BUT really, come on!! The decorator had a picture showing what we wanted, had our order on her iPad, & they are freakin cake decorators YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT COLORS GO WITH SPECIFIC SPORTS TEAMS!!!!! read more

The customer service at this location is outstanding. I generally shop early in the morning and all of the staff are extremely friendly. I am greeted at least three times. The setup in the grocery section is convenient and it takes me little to get through my shopping list. They have a nice produce section and good sales. read more
