Literally they hire the most incompetent people to work at their gas stations. No one ever knows anything, they are always insanely rude, they are never helpful and they just stare at you. This is literally the worst fans I have ever been to in my entire life. It is the same thing every single time. I am a new Sam's Club member due to relocating from Seattle and living with my dad while I house shop He had a Sam's Club membership so I joined using his card as we both share the same address so I got my card for free I'm also a Costco shopper and have been my entire life because I'm from the Seattle area and once I got here I was able to get my dad a free Costco card because once again we both share the same address and live at the same house I had never been to Sam's Club prior to the past year, but I do like them. They are much smaller scale and far less busy than what Costco is, but there are some good value options and certain things that we purchase from Sam's Club gas being the number one things so we don't have to drive all the way out to practically Centerville Beavercreek area just to gas up our cars I really like their muffins that they make in the bakery They have great bacon, but I'm not sure how much we know about and as far as household items, they are competitively priced They do not sell large bulk items like supersize bag of potato chips, supersize containers a various things which sometimes is an advantage you don't necessarily need a 20 pound bag of M&Ms or a bag of ruffles potato chips big enough to a Super Bowl party of 40 people All the employees are very, very friendly and helpful have received great customer service every step of the way on every occasion I've been there The gas pump area is a little slow due to one single car at a time, but you just have to learn to fill up during non-peak hours on Friday afternoon or a busy sunny day on the weekend read more

No matter your political views..gas prices have gotten ugly and expected to get worse. Just for the gas saving it's worth getting a membership to Sam's or Costco. There's a few things we love to get at Sam's. The generic 24 he antihistamine .. the generic of claritin D .. is super cheap here. We both have sinus and allergies issues. The broccoli..like the bag of already cut up and it's just the best parts (florets... is that what its called??l). We love there bars ... sweet and salty peanut but just tried the almond one even better. They are better for you than a candy bar and convenient to grab and go. Try the cinnamon muffin..they are huge and delicious... even better heated up. Thank me later. Decent selection of when that super cheap. read more

Not too sure what the deal is with low ratings. If they don't have what you're looking for it's nothing personal. It's just bad timing or product(s) are short at their warehouse due to the vendors not having it. Bulk store, I know exactly what I need before I walk in and it's never an issue? Prices are amazing. The steaks have always been phenomenal. I noticed tonight they even have brisket? They even had just the flats in their own little sealed packages!? No idea why you'd just want to smoke the flat but to each their own. I've been there when it's stupid busy and why are people waiting in line to check out? Use the scan and go app and just walk around the checkout and wander up to the nice folks where they scan your App supplied QR code you got after you processed the payment. Easy Peasy. Hubby & I shop here often. I've been ordering some items to be shipped to me (free shipping) & I love the convenience. We get gas here when in the Centerville area but sometimes the lines are crazy long. I've used the pick up service a few times & it is great when in a rush. We bought new tires 2 years ago from the Auto department & when I got a nail on the outside of the tire, they replaced it for only a $20 fee. I really like the variety Sam's has to offer & the fact that they stand behind their food quality with a money back guarantee. All the employees I've dealt with have been polite & helpful. Not sure why this place is getting low star reviews....they're a freaking bulk discount store with free samples (non COVID-19 era anyway). Other than their milk jugs being supremely odd shaped....this place is amazeballs. My wife and son went into this location earlier today and had to deal with an assistant manager named Tai (sp.) Your company must be in pretty bad shape if you have to hire a woman like this to be a manager your stores. All I can say is this woman is lucky that I wasn'y there when this happened. I would've eaten her lunch! She charged my wife for what she was buying, then she cancelled the transaction last minute when my son apparently tried to add something to the lot. My wife showed her the charge on her CHASE App... and then TAI basically argued with my wife on how her card wasn't ever charged. As my wife is showing her the charge on her phone. If she was remotely intelligent she would have told my wife that even though she saw a debit come through her account a credit typically takes a couple days or so. Luckily a young lady named Bailey called back to explain what had probably happened! (She should actually be your Assistant Manager) Tai is worthless and shouldn't be aloud stock items, let alone manage people or your inventory! I feel for your organization if this is the caliber of people you are stuck having to hire! read more

I always get best price for gas here. I go twice a month to get bulk supply on paper products, frozen vegetables and chicken. I love love their huge bags of fresh broccoli and oranges. Our family enjoys the cinnamon rolls and large muffins. I truly enjoy shopping here. This store is extra appealing in that they sell gasoline also. In Florida, it was rare to find Sam's Club without gasoline during the worst of times, they were always the lowest--so much that the state attorney general's office investigated them--though Costco and BJ's Wholesale were also below the typical gas stations also. Sam's Club has better products to go along with your membership fee, so it's never like shopping Walmart, even though they're related. They have better food, better electronics, and a healthy selection of books. Typically, I like their selection of cheese and Utz snacks. They usually gave good parmesan, romano, and gouda cheeses. I wonder about their selection of wine, having recently seen CNBC's report on Costco and their wine business. I never thought of a warehouse store as having great wine. I'm not a wine drinker, so I guess I'll never know, but other products they sell are quite good, so I expect they're up to a certain standard. I've yet to meet Sam's Club employees who are angry or upset or moody the way Walmart employees are, and this store is no exception. Everyone seems friendly and happy to be there. I was a bit surprised by the pizza. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't really fresh, either. I've been to a lot of Sam's Clubs from Florida to California and the pizza is recent or sometime, you even have to wait. Maybe, if they threw it away sooner, they'd have fresher pizza and sell more. The other drawback is that they don't accept Visa cards. Update: the men's restroom wasn't good. One of the stall doors you couldn't even latch. I have to give Sam's up a 5 star review. Sounds like a bunch a Karen's and Ken's over reacting about the auto center or the snack bar in their reviews. I have shopped at both at this Sam's and Costco in Centerville and find the experiences very similar. Just buy your bulk items and move on. Sam's has less expensive pre-made meals. Sam's also has the scan and go on the app. That's the only way to shop. Costco doesn't this feature. read more

What is up with Sam's Club. I had a cart loaded down this morning for a July 4th cookout. Must have been close to $300 in items. I sometimes stop here for gas when it's convenient - it gets the job done. I also recently visited their auto shop because we had a slow leak in one tire. Now, the guys who work there very, very nice. But things just weren't easy or convenient. First, parking for the Auto Center is so far back. Go forbid there's a snow storm going on and you have a baby to carry in. You won't be too excited about that long walk to the front entrance. Second, they're not good about calling you with questions or when you're done. I've found this to be true at every Sam's Auto Center I've visited. I always specifically make sure to leave my number, but I've only ever been called a couple times. Usually I wander back over there once it's been longer than the quoted. At this particular visit, they told me they couldn't find the leak. Really?? After an hour? I've never had that problem before. Frankly, those two reasons are enough to really annoy me. I absolutely love coming and walking and seeing everything. It's guaranteed that I will find something I need and probably don't need but isn't that life. I love the fresh fish and produce and don't get me started about the wonderful bouquets they always have. We were happy with our shopping experience over the weekend. Everything was in stock and enjoy the meat and seafood department. This sams club is always well stocked, organized, and full of top quality items. The app and website's stock checks for this location are typically not correct, as every time I've seen a popular product out of stock online that shows out of stock in store, I've been able to find it well stocked at the store once I arrive. Some may not like that, but I do because it makes the shopping experience so much less stressful for me in a world where products constantly go viral and sell out for months. Through all of the inflation, I have seen very minimal increases in sams club prices which makes the membership a no brainer. I use their cakes and cupcakes for every event and the members mark brand is top notch. read more

The only issue I have is they continually allow people to park in their loading area. There's signage stating it is a loading and unloading area and you must stay with your vehicle - yet SEVERAL times over the last 15 months when we've bought large items and need to pull up to the loading area to put them in our truck - it's full of people who have parked and gone inside to shop. I ordered catering for a meeting. Waiting in the back by the deli for 20 minutes to get anyone to find out I had to go up front and they will bring it to my register. I proceeded upfront because I had other things to buy as well. All registers were long lines so I went to the self check out. I started order and asked the guy standing there swinging his keys if he could call for my order, he then told me I couldn't pay for that up here and had to go to customer service. I have ordered multiple times from Sam's and never had to go through this. I explained the deli manager told me to go to check out, he then told me he didn't care what they told me they are wrong and I had to go to customer service. Again really frustrated at this point the line at customer service was about 10 to 15 people. I asked again if he could check and he got very rude with me and said I told you no... He proceeded to talk under his breath and called me a very disrespectful name as I was asking to speak to a manager. Manager finally came up and again was very uninterested in what occurred or how I was treated and how long the process was just to pick up an order. I usually like to take my time and just look around. Last time I was in Sams Club in Centerville, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. It was absolutely a nightmare. It seems that they have moved everything to the center of the store. And in between the isles you can barely get a single cart through. Heaven help you if someone is coming towards you with their cart. Nothing is where it used to be and they have downsized their stock and choices tremendously. I won't be leisurely taking my time the next time I have to go in there. We've been Sam's Club members for about two years now and thoroughly enjoy our experience here. Even though the parking lot looks crazy, I never feel like it's packed inside. My kids love the bakery department and getting a free cookie. We enjoy a lot of there baked good especially the m&m cookies. The cornbread is really good and easy to reheat. Meat prices are fantastic. I just wish they would carry ground turkey more often. One thing I am not happy with is that they keep changing who they get eggs from and that changes the quantity and price all too often. Please keep your 18 count, large eggs in blue packaging. They are great quality and inexpensive. Gogurt prices are great compared to Kroger as are Orange juice. Almond Milk is another must buy here. You can get three half gallons for around $8. We also find that applesauce pouches, granola bars, goldfish, and some other snacky foods are the best price here. I do wish they would bring back Ragu because it was much cheaper here then Kroger. Wipe prices are great, but I find diapers to be expensive and rarely on sale. They also have a great book selection. My family also really enjoys the food here. The hot dog combo is a great price and taste great. I do wish they would bring back the chicken sandwich though. We love that they have youscans so you can check out on your own and I also love the app to checkout on too. Love that they have a gas station. It's usually 10-20 cents cheaper then anywhere in the area. read more

Bought some Sangria. The cashier informed of a new "regulation" that all people in a shopping party must be 21 to include your children even if the purchasing customer is way over 21. Point being, if there to buy any alcohol, leave your children at home! They will attempt to card your kids and give grief. I'm keeping this short. Sams changed all 4 my tires. Week or so later a strange noise was coming from my car. They didn't tighten my lugnuts the whole way and that never crossed my mind that they'd forget to do that or not properly tighten lug nuts. Guy at pep boys said I was lucky my wheel didn't fall off. Sams denied any responsibility which is ridiculous. Don't take your car here. read more

Poor customer service at the tire department. They supposed to provide repair service for tires to member. I have 9 autos with family and business. Anytime I am in need of a tire repair it seems that they come up with a reason, excuse why they can not repair the tire. I've enjoyed Sam's In the past but recently have been dissatisfied. I was there about a month ago and was going to get a snack. I waited in the slow moving line and when I got to the front I continued waiting and waiting. While waiting I watched two employees stand in the back and stare at me. I have been a Sams member for at least 15 yrs, in VA, TX and now OH. Let me just say.. I am also a Plus member and I have never been to a SAMS club that had employees be so outright rude and dismissive.. Since I have the Plus membership, one of the perks is that I can go in a little earlier than the regular members, you know fight the crowds, just pop in and get what you need.. Well, This morning I went in for a few items, I had a hard time finding some of the usual things I'm used to buying.. so I passed up employees and I know they saw me.. NOT ONE person asked me if I needed help with finding something.. Then I go to check out-- The woman at the register seemed like she just couldn't be bothered.. She did not look in my direction, she did not greet me. I said Good Morning to her, No response... and she kept looking up and away from me.. I found it really strange and very rude.. So I leave and head to the door... where the rudeness continued... The person who checks your receipt.. glanced at my items and never looked in my direction.. Then I noticed that they had coffee and some goodies for the plus members.. I said ooooh can I have some coffee, well it was the Keurig, she said "I guess".. ok so I just stood there , uhhh wheres the pod??? She kept looking at me like why are you bothering me with your presence, then I asked her for a lid, as I had a cart to push and now a piping hot cup of coffee, she said we don't have lids, and just walked away.. Seriously???? This is SAMS club, I'm sure you have lids somewhere.. Stranded at Sam's Club Tire Center. Yesterday my husband brought our car in (on the spare) was told the faulty tire we purchased from Sam's Club and need to have replaced was not in stock but would be the next day (today). After calling today and not getting through and leaving a message and not hearing back, I brought the car in (on the spare) and was told that they don't have the tire and might not today and maybe not tomorrow. I was told my call was not answered or returned because there is a sale and they are too busy. I was repeatedly interrupted, spoken down to, and disrespected during my interaction with the service desk employee. I do not trust that they will call when the tire is ready (since they are "too busy" to answer or return calls), and I do not feel safe driving any further on the spare. When I said I would rather wait than take a cab the 18 miles home and then back, I was told to just drive on the spare because he know lots of people who have and it was fine. There's really no savings buying tires here since they sell a faulty product, understaff during a sale, and have employees who are rude and suggest dangerous practices like driving excessively on a spare tire.
