This has been a top notch go-to for 15 years for me. Even though I moved to Temecula Valley I still come into HB for this great spot- and economical too! They know you and remember & call you by name, act happy to see you, and do wonderful work- hardly raising prices in 10 years! The last time I was in, I took a chance to let them wax my brows. I am very particular about this because I've had bad brow work done at other places so I do my own. I was so surprised at how wonderful they turned out. They did exactly what I wanted, a clean up and a nice shape. I bc will always return to this particular salon for my mani/pedis. I believe it's because Melanie & her crew have great customer service, are real & simple. What I love most about all of them is that they care about U & how satisfied U are with their services. Sue is my go to lady for pedicures bcuz she makes sure I don't get in-grown toenails post-pedicure, before coming here, it never failed wherever I got pedicures done - shortly after I always ended up having a extremely painful minor procedure done to remove 1 or both big toenails at my doctors office or Urgent Care. Since coming here, not once have I had to undergo that horrible ingrown toenail removal minor surgery again, "Hail Ms. Sue!!!" as she is my pedicure Savior & Goddess!! My wife, daughter and I all came here today for mani/pedis. I get a manicure maybe once a year but not in the last 3 years. I'm definitely not a regular, but my wife and daughter are now here all the time. The ladies are very friendly and they are always happy with the quality and the price. My manicure was excellent. No polish for me...just a nice buff...but my cuticles on my fingers and toes needed a bit of work and they did a great job. Guys, an occasional manicure is a real treat. It's my third time back at this nail salon, and once again I had a great experience. All the workers are so sweet and I love how they talk to all their customers and greet them by their name when they walk in. I never feel like I'm being rushed out, and they're so gentle too. Also this is the first salon I go to where they actually soak your nail to remove the previous gel nail polish instead of using a drill to remove it! I loved how my nails came out this time! Hands down ( pardon the pun) this is the BEST PLACE TO GET YOUR NAILS DONE. Melanie and her team have been around for decades and this place is great. She has ONE FEE for nail service- under $25 includes soft callous removal. No huge price list with tons of options and add ons. One price inclusive. I took my granddaughter, age 4, in to get a simple manicure and they made her feel so special . The staff and customers are all like friends. They call you by your first name and make you feel seen when you walk in. It's a girls cave. And they don't rush you out. Okay so I work in Huntington Beach but I usually rush back home to Long Beach to get my nails done every Friday. I'm going to Vegas for my birthday this weekend and found this little place right down the street from the office. It had a 5 star rating with good reviews so I thought, "hey! Why not try a new place? It can't be all that bad!" It took me only 5 minutes to get there, and when I walked in, I was instantly greeted by all of the ladies. It's always nice to be greeted at the nail salon, especially if it's a slow day. All of the ladies there were extremely kind and helpful. Kim did my gel manicure while Tina(I think that was her name!) did my pedicure. Mind you, I only have an hour for lunch so I had about 50 minutes.. Their work was very detailed, and absolutely perfect. Everyone there kept a cheerful and fun conversation going throughout the whole mani/pedi. Usually I pick out the small imperfections in my gel manicure, but I couldn't complain this time since it was so perfect! The gel was thin and there were no ridges crossing from the clear gel to the white tip! I am SO happy with their services I will definitely be back in two weeks. This place is fantastic! You're treated like a friend as soon as you walk in. The salon is clean, bright, and pleasant. I did a "practically walk in" appointment (called about 2 hours prior to see if they even accepted walk ins) and they were able to get me in. Melanie did such a great job fixing what a different salon had done only a mediocre job with. I showed her a general idea of what I wanted and she took the time to hunt down the exact colors she had in mind to make it look perfect. Loved chatting with her and the other ladies that were working there. As this is my first time there, I only have experience with Melanie but all of the ladies were booked with appointments and do a fantastic job from what I can see. Highly recommend! read more

I've never been treated worse . DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT DESIGNS I REPEAT DO NOT COME IF YOU LIKE ANYTHING THAT IS NOT BASIC. I asked for the photo provided and she never told me once she was unable to do it until I saw it was not turning out how I liked and how the photo looked so I asked her to take it off. She had did my nails at the pedicure stations with no stand and was making me free hold my hand out to her and put the machine on my lap to cure the gel. Mind you I have shaky hands because of health reasons and then she blamed me for the reason of them not being good but never said that once while doing it or asking me to go somewhere we could sit where my hands could be more steady. It gets worse when I payed beforehand because sometimes my card declines and I would never want that to happen after I received my service so when I tried to ask for credit back for 70$ nails I payed and be honest would you pay freaking 70 dollars for that? she said time and length but like be foreal? i even tiped her 10 on top of that plus my toes and she was so disrespectful and unkind to the situation and just in all told me to never come again which i'm fine doing I just want people to know how you'll be treated & what you might have to deal with! this interaction was with the owner Melissa aswell she's the rude one not the staff. I've payed way more at places i'll include photos and they've been up to 150 the price isn't the point it's the quality. I didn't even want all my money back just the price adjusted to the work! how rude and low but i'll be taking my buisness else i'm not sure how many people spend 130 in there a month but i'm gone now ! read more

I'm very particular on how I want my nails and lynn did them exactly right and spent a lot of time making sure each one of them looked perfect. After going to Melanie's for about 5 years for pedicures I've decided to try someplace else. I still love that they remember your name each time you come in and everyone is friendly, but I had a couple of experiences that have made me decide to look for a new nail salon. The first was probably about 1 1/2 years ago, I got a nail infection after getting the pedicure and it still hasn't gone away. The second happened a couple months ago when my big toe got red and inflamed after the pedicure and it took a few weeks for the swelling to go down. My toes look fabulous and the massage was phenomenal!
