The only other staff is an indian doctor the looks like she doesn't want to be there very much. All the equipment is old and the heart rate monitor they put on me looked down right dirty with brown spots and dirty patches all over. My next horror was the X-Ray. Usually there's a single use plastic cover over the sterilized xray equipment they put in your mouth but not here. They put it directly into your mouth and it took everything in me not to walk away on the spot. Next was the cleaning. Oh dear god the cleaning... this "cleaning" consisted of less than 5 minutes of Very Rough manual cleaning that didn't take care of each teeth in ANY detail what so ever but simply just brushed the base of the gums. The next 3 minutes are spent power polishing, also very rushed and unprofessional. Then they don't even floss you and just tell you "Alright, you're done!" I'm horrified at how a place like this can get 4.8* review on google and am starting to question the integrity of google reviews at this point.

I was referred to Dr Pham from a friend and I wanted to find a good dentist close to the Spring Branch area cause I'm always at Costco Bunker Hill. The office is cozy and the staff were really nice and helpful. Dr Pham is super nice and friendly and complimented me on my teeth. She was very thorough with my teeth cleaning and she explained well what was good and what I needed to work on. She even went over my teeth again both on the X-ray and while I was in the seat to make sure she got everything and I am very appreciative of that. She was very gentle with my jaw cause it tends to lock up and stopped to help massage the jaw muscle. I asked about Invisalign and she said to come back and get impressions so I'll be back. :) I also asked about teeth whitening for my wedding and she recommended Venus vs Zoom and explained two different options for me and wanted me to know the risk for sensitive teeth. I will need to do some more research and maybe I'll be back for whitening too. All in all a really awesome Dentist and office.

Thankfully, I found Dr. Le. They got me in first thing Friday morning, and I walked out with a temporary crown that honestly looks as good as, if not better than, my previous permanent one. I've gone to this place for 2 years and in that time, got treated ok. The first year was ok, got a…read moredental cleaning and the Dr seemed friendly enough. The second year, I noticed when they changed who treated patients, it went a downhill. They had to replace a metallic filling I had because it was cracking and I had a cavity in the molar near it. When they did the filling, there was a gap left between my molars which has become a nuisance. I have to make sure that I floss every single time I eat and it's really annoying. I went back to them and they did add more filling so it kind got better but it's still an issue. I now had a follow up with my previous dentist, who I had seen for more than 20 years before I went to Garden Oaks, and he didn't understand why they didn't fix it properly when I asked them to. It was, in his opinions, a badly done filling. So, now I may have to get fixed in the future if it keeps bothering me. Also, the front desk is always short and rude with people. Don't even try to get them on the phone as it's either a good experience or a rude experience. It's why I actually stopped going to see them:

The hygienist was very thorough, they cleaned her teeth and polish them. Even I, being her daughter, saw a difference between her teeth before the appointment and after the appointment. I am very impressed with the hygienist at this location. After getting her teeth cleaned, the dentist closed her fillings. My mom was very pleased with the work. She was so thankful that this office was not trying to sell her on things that she did not need to get done. While they did mention her need for a crown, they did not sell her on any ancillary charges or bogus treatments for her teeth. My mom hates going to the dentist. And she doesn't like the dental field because she feels that they're very pushy and the make up charges or work without very much proof. But she was so pleased with this dental office, she couldn't stop stop sharing her experience with me. she's looking forward to her next visit in six months.

They were able to fit me in the next day. By the time I showed up, my Insurance info had been verified and I was quickly taken back. He was very comforting and informative and made me feel at ease. After going over my questions and concerns, he confirmed what my insurance covered and what would be out of pocket. That made me feel better about my options and not feel forced. I think I got the best cleaning ever! I'm so happy to have found a new dentist.
