My beautiful bride and I have been patients of The Dentists at Greenway since they opened over ten years ago. There is no shortage of dentists in the Greenway/Galleria area. We had visited several and felt we were being hustled for treatments that were not needed by either of us. The offices we visited often appeared dated. The Dentists at Greenway is women-owned and managed. The technicians are first rate. The office managers accommodate dental emergencies and work with insurers to keep treatment costs reasonable. Everyone, is ery professional and solicitous about the comfort or fears of patients. They welcome adults, children even grumpy, old men. They carefully assess each patient, using a variety of up-to-date evaluative technologies to provide a 360 degree view of each tooth. They assess bone density. They are alert for any symptoms that indicate the possibility of other problems including the nervous system, bone deterioration, lymphatic and sinus infection. Anything that requires the attention of a dental surgeon or other medical specialist is immediately explained to the patient. The dental surgeons and specialists they recommend are top rate. Scammers and Thieves...!!! Before Covid on December 13, 2019, I visited Dr. Brusha Makani at the Dentists at Greenway. Received an adult oral eval and a cleaning. Thereafter, made my insurance payment and life went on. I left with a referral to Dr. Syed Yusuf Shere, Contemporary Implatology located at 902 Frostwood, Suite 203. Only recently because of Covid, I had the nerve to get back in the dental chair. I also maintained the noted referral until the end of Covid was reasonably insight. So I returned to Dentists at Greenway for another cleaning recently. I was advised that I owed a balance from my previous and last 2019 visit. I had the balance because the Dentists at Greenway incorrectly processed my insurance which caused me to have this remaining balance and having to pay it out of pocket although it was indeed legitimately covered by my insurance. I was not happy..!!! I decided to follow thru on the 2019 referral to Dr. Shere for an implant in one tooth. While in his chair, he asked me at least three times, if I was sure that my Dentist wanted this tooth removed. He could not find anything wrong with it....WTF..!!! If you are not aware, implants start at $1500 and only go up from there. That's After insurance...!!! What kind of scam is this? Dr. Shere writes up a treatment plan even though he did not think there were problems with my tooth. Additionally, on top of the implant and associated costs, he included a $2700 deep cleaning (after insurance) he insisted I needed. Again, mine you, I just had my teeth cleaned by the Dentits at Greenway and there was zero talk of me needing a $2700 deep cleaning. I surmise that Dr. Makani and Dr. Shere are working in conlusion to scam patients and rip off insurance companies.... I will Never visit either one of these nefarious Dentists Ever again....They will rip you and your insurance off....They are Scammers and Thieves....!!! read more

After some unpleasant past experiences with pediatric dentist, I decided to give this one a try for my 5 year old. He normally is very fearful of dentist and anxious for appointments but that all changed after his first visit. You can basically consider me a person that consistently travels and never really has a place to call "home". Every time I move, I find new places to eat that become my usual dining places and along with eating, I have to take care of my health. I've become a pro at finding new doctors and dentists wherever I move to next. For my Houston home, The Dentists at Greenway have won my heart. They literally stole the word "home" because when I walk in, they might as well throw me a blanket and a pillow. They have this homey waiting area along with Netflix being played on the television, need I say more of why I requested a blanket and a pillow? The staff here are phenomenal. They are so pleasant and friendly that you forget you are in the dentist office. From the first moment you meet the front desk staff, to the second you sit in that terrifying chair with the girls working in the back! I promise you, the horrendous stories of spit flying every where to having sharp tools jabbed in your mouth will be long gone! There are two doctors at this practice and they happen to be basically best friends. They work so well together where I have seen both for work on my mouth and I couldn't decide who I liked more because it was too hard to decide. The gentleness of their hands to the conversations held with these doctors were priceless! This practice was one of the best ones I have visited in awhile since I move around so much. I am truly impressed. I contacted this office because I had some issues with cavities that was hindering me from eating comfortably. I was in so much pain. Here is all that I knew needed to be done: *2 crowns *3 fillings *1 extraction ( I didn't want another root canal against their recommendation) My teeth are sensitive so I have to take extra care and not having a dentist for some time affected me. I went in to see them for an initial check up and they got me in right away with no long wait in the lobby. Their office is very modern. I needed all this work done and in a short time ( 1 week) as I was moving states. They scheduled a day for me and made it work. I was there for 3 hours and they were able to make my crown there! I didn't have to wait for it to be sent out and made somewhere else. The dentist ( can't recall her name right now) but she did a great job and even took the time to fix something she felt wasn't her best. Most dentists would send you on your way. I appreciate it being done right. Finally the prices were right! Now granted I have good insurance but all in all I spent $400 less for all of that than I would have somewhere else. I cannot recommend Dentists at Greenway enough! They are the whole package: smart, friendly, kind, knowledgeable staff, wonderful, beneficial new technology, spotless new facilities, and a sincere desire to be accommodating. I chipped one of my back teeth and they we able to see me, diagnose the damage, plan the treatment, and treat me, all same day, all spontaneously, without advanced notice. It was a patient's dream! Another great example is how at my last cleaning, they diagnosed that I needed a filling. Since the need was relatively minor, they allowed me to simply schedule the filling to be done with my next cleaning. It saved me from having to make a separate trip to the office. They truly consider the patient's desires and preferences. Further, if a patient wants to watch Netflix or some other program, they can ask to put it on on the TV in each patient room. If i could give this Dentists more than 5 stars i would! I came to them with a number of dental issues and they made me feel comfortable and so well taken care of every time. At one point one of my old root canals i had done at another dentist abscessed and i was in excruciating pain. They got me in ASAP, referred me to a fabulous endodontist. As soon as i started coming to this dentist, all my previous issues have been taken care of and i have been cavity free for over two years now! I ended up coming to this practice to seek out a second opinion on a treatment plan for my 7 year daughter. Her 2 permanent bottom teeth were coming in behind her baby teeth and the recommendation from our pediatric dentist was removal with sedation. I was concerned about medicating my child simply to remove 2 baby teeth. Dr. Makani was able to work us into her schedule the next day and remove my daughters 2 baby teeth without sedation. Everyone at this office, from the hygienists to the two dentists, is really friendly and easy to talk to about any concerns. Dr. Makani referred me to a periodontist for a gum procedure that I was nervous about, and she helped to ease my concern by talking me through the procedure and telling me about the other doctor. I've had dentists before who are alarmists in order to make money off of you, and I don't get that sense from either dentist here. They seem to genuinely care about patients. read more

I was very nervous about switching dentists, my previous one was far from and horrible. I still was nervous to switch to a new dentist! After lots of research I chose this place. I was extremely pleased with my choice. I went in for a teeth cleaning, they had a special that was for new customers($99 for exam, x-rays, and cleaning), but it could be more if they diagnosed that a deep cleaning must be done. I wanted to be sure they did not recommend a "deep cleaning" which can be more expensive but many dentists push it. The dr did not, she said it was a regular cleaning, and I was pleased with the cleaning! Their pricing was good and the doctor was knowledgable. Outstanding dental practice, great customer service, scheduling, well appointed facilities, expert dental care and broad insurance participation. A recent filling done elsewhere started falling out after weeks of pain and sensitivity, an appointment was scheduled for same day service with Dr. Makhani given a sudden opening, the collapsed filling was cleaned out and redone in a more stable and permanent manner, anasthetic was applied quickly without bulky needles, and I was out in no time with a great looking tooth with no pain for the first time in weeks. After my disastrous annual cleaning at Perla Dental, I was hesitant about looking for another dentist here in Houston, but lo and behold, I could not go back to Brownsville for my second cleaning of the year and had to play the "does this office provide excellent service?" game. I was smarter this time around and checked Yelp before proceeding to make the appointment. The administrative staff was professional and informative; they had contacted me by email and telephone to remind me of my appointment a couple days before and to explain my dental benefits. I had walked into the office about 10 minutes before my appointment to fill out paperwork and was impressed with the decor. It had a classy vibe and was neatly arranged with plenty of reading material (though I was prepared with my Nintendo 3DS); you even had the option of just simply sitting and watching the television if you wished to do so, which they had "The Chew" showing. I was promptly greeted by the receptionist and handed the paperwork, which was interesting because they used dry erase as an eco-friendly approach. Once I handed back my paperwork, which took about 7ish minutes, I sat down and was prepared to wait an extended amount of time, when to my utter surprise, they called me in probably about 5 minutes later! I was shocked and sat there for awhile since I didn't really think it'd take this little amount of time for them to be ready. Anyway, the technician was friendly and professional, and their x-ray machine was super cool and high tech (made me feel like I was in some sci-fi movie). It probably took the dentist about another good 10 minutes until she was able to see me and proceeded to go over my x-rays. Everything was fine and dandy and then my cleaning began. After that was finished, I was just scheduled for my next cleaning since my insurance covered my visit 100%. I was in and out of that office for about under an hour. Praise the Dentists at Greenway! The only concern I had was that I wasn't given any additional instructions on how to better the condition of my teeth. Usually dentists tell me to brush behind certain teeth as I tend to not pay much attention to those parts in my haste to get ready in the morning, but other than that, this place is where it's at! read more

My favorite dentist office! I've seen both Dr. Makani and Dr. Sabbahi and I love them both! So sweet and gentle. I used to have major dentist anxiety and this office has calmed all my nerves when it comes to procedures and cleanings here. They are incredibly respectful of your time and I've never had to wait more then 15 minutes to go into my appointment and be seen.
