Not only did Dr. Gina beat the other places in price, she is really sweet and understanding. You never feel intimidated asking questions, which I really appreciate since I'm more on the timid side. I ended up getting veneers instead of composite bonding. A lot of places will try to upsell you and have you do 6-8 teeth, but Dr. Gina recommended I only do two teeth since I'm young. She keeps up with modern technology. We did a mock up of the teeth and the veneers are made in a lab. The technology she uses also tells her how much to shave off. My veneers blend seemlessly, not bulky and the color is an exact match. The time I came to try my veneers, I asked for more of a rounded shape, and they sent it back to add more, which I really appreciate. However, I quickly discovered through EOB that the practice was actually NON-PAR/out-of-network, which made the bill to be around $1600. After reading multiple reviews describing similar experiences, it seems this may be a pattern rather than an isolated misunderstanding. Patients deserve clear disclosure of a provider's network status before treatment, especially when insurance information has been provided and verified in advance. It's unfortunate there is such a lack of care for the client.

They just conveniently have an implant specialist in the same office that sees patients once a month. I said sure, I can talk to the specialist and see if it's even necessary to do implant at all. As I was trying to make an appointment with the specialist, I was told that I had to have an MRI for my teeth before I could even see the specialist. And they were really trying to sell the implant to me. At that point, I grew suspicious so I just left. Fast forward, I went to a different dentist with the X-ray that was taken previously. This new dentist said there's nothing wrong with my teeth in the X-ray. Out of precaution, he took a new X-ray for the mobile tooth. Again, nothing wrong. Yep, I was being defrauded. So, do not come here if you don't want to lose a completely perfect tooth and replace it with an implant that you never needed.

I had no way to afford dental care for many years and Dr. Yeh maintained me in better shape than I deserved through the 2010's. Since I had no insurance, all my work from Dr. Yeh was charged for and paid for directly. He took the best I could do during those years, often times giving me very reasonable out of pocket rates that kept me going to the dentist when I otherwise could not afford to. The only reason I am not giving full marks is because some of the other reviews commenting on the lack of support in his office and some aging equipment are true. That will matter to a stranger looking at dentists on Yelp. However, to me, Dr. Yeh is a kind person who helped me when I needed it the most and I don't think the Yelp rating on his practice is a fair reflection on it overall.

This dentist drilled out almost every baby tooth in his head for the smallest cavity resulting in a mouth full of decaying baby teeth and fillings. Dr yeh was able to fix everything that was wrong and now Marc does not have one amalgam filling in his head, (such a relief). Growing up with Dr Yeh as my dentist I never had one filling. I am convinced that other dentists see the slightest thing on a x-ray image and see it as a opportunity to cash in on insurance money. worse than a mechanic because insurance company's have deep pockets but you only get one set of teeth.
