********this review needs 100 more ******** My Chevy equinox was starting to sound like a Harley (nothing wrong with Harley's but a Chevy ain't supposed to sound like it). It was Friday afternoon, and a different shop my family trusts told me no, it's too big of a job. Back to the drawing board, I called literally 30 different shops on a Friday, who were all closing and kept telling me no. I called Dennis and he responded with a text due to being busy, no worries at all! We exchanged messages and said it's a big job, gave me quote that was great! (Other places charged me over the top! ) I brought my car in two days later, was greeted by JJ, I sat out in the parking lot because I didn't want to be yelled at the usually "we don't open until xyz" not this shop! They greeted me kindly and said how can I help. Took my keys and got started, halfway through Dennis sent me a picture of it and WOW! What a job! Came back a couple of hours later to pick up my car, and it's purring so smoothly like it came out from the lot! Dennis is awesome. Honest, helpful, candid, and reliable. I've talked with him several times about work on my 1970 Mustang. The first time, I was having a wiring issue and my Vintage Air decided it was just going to stop working. I took it to Dennis and he took the time to help explain a few things and actually inspired me to try and dig into it myself. He told me that he could do the work, make it run and look nice, but told me that for the money I could do it myself. Any other shop would have just taken my money. Not Dennis. He educated and inspired. The second time, I talked to him about an intermittent dieseling issue. He talked to me for about an hour about timing and hopped up engines (even through my crappy phone connection) and dropped more education. Helpful again. Told me he could look at the timing, but might not solve the issue. Again, saving me money. Even though he's never actually worked on my car, based on our conversations I would not hesitate to bring it to him. Dennis did a great job on troubleshooting fuel issues that I had with my 1971 C10 step side pickup. I've had the truck for over 25 years and wanted to get it back to being more dependable and Dennis did just that... Ultimately, he dropped the fuel tank to fix the gas gauge/sending unit, changed the fuel pump and filter, resolved a fuel tank venting issue, and got the brake lights to work. All in all I was happy with his work and recommend his service. My car wasn't running correctly so I started with Yelp. I found Do it All, called and got a text reply. A few texts back and forth and I was told I could bring my car in right away and they would check the engine codes. When I got there, I chatted briefly with Dennis (owner). He was working on a different vehicle, but asked an employee, JJ to pull the codes. The codes told them it was a problem in cylinder 2. Dennis said most likely a coil wire, made a call, got pricing for the coil and quoted me the price to replace the coil. JJ started right away and immediately noticed some water had pooled up around the spark plug and was inside the coil wire. JJ cleaned out all the water and blew air through the coil. Put it all back together and my car was running perfectly. Dennis said that was probably the issue and I didn't need a new coil. So he gave me an updated, and much lower price and I was on my way! I'm betting most shops would have replaced the coil and just told me about the water after the fact. So glad to meet people who are more focused on doing the job than finding ways to upsell me. I came into their shop wondering if they could use their OTD 1 reader to scan my car since it's check engine light came on. I've got a 1991 Toyota so I didn't have too much hope it could be fixed without spending $$$ since it's so old. They scanned the car and told me the issue they thought it would be. They didn't bill me anything until they actually started replacing/taking parts out. Before they began working on the car they print out an itemized quote on everything so you have almost 100% guarantee how much your spending before leaving your car. These guys made me feel very comfortable with the work they were proposing and their pricing was amazing. For a college student this was a very affordable shop and the work they did on my Camry made immense differences in performance. Every employee was very respectful and they do a great job in explaining parts of the cars and provide knowledge to you so you can understand the full scope of work they are doing. **This will be a long one, but I promise it's so worth the read!** My brother's snake Rocky got his way into the dashboard of his car and got himself lost. We took apart as much of the dash as we could, but still couldn't find him. We tried everything shy of tearing the car to pieces to find him and get him out! No such luck. Today, I called Do It All and explained to them what was going on. We shared a light chuckle as this isn't something anyone is really used to hearing. They said they were happy to help, but with all of the stuff we had going on at home and with my brother at work, I had no way to get the car over to them. These amazing guys CAME TO MY HOUSE to pick up the car and take it back to the shop so they could find our beloved Rocky. They weren't gone more than 10 minutes before they informed me he had been found, but unfortunately didn't make it - the worst possible outcome! They were so gentle breaking the news as well as removing him, making sure they caused him no additional harm. When I tell you these guys had nothing but the utmost compassion for the situation I cannot stress it enough. They kept me updated the whole way through, told me what was unfolding as it happened, and sent sincere condolences. They told me they wouldn't have the car done same day (which was 100% okay), but they wanted to make sure our little friend was brought home promptly. They showed back up at my home later this afternoon with Rocky gently wrapped in the mesh bag I provided them for if/when they found him and gave him back to my brother. I was just in awe of how seriously they took the situation and how adamant they were that we had him home ASAP. Because of these angels, Rocky got back to us to be laid to rest peacefully and my brother got to say his goodbyes. PLEASE heavily consider taking them any vehicle you have, I now literally trust them with my life. Needed to get aftermarket brake pads put on my 2018 Camaro and reached out to Dennis at Mobile Mechanic based on other Yelp reviews. He gave me a competitive quote over the phone and was available for a Saturday install. He performed the work perfectly, cleaned the calipers and wheels of brake dust, and ran a nice shop with a lift capable of getting under low cars. Phenomenal experience! I was out of town at the time my daughter's car turn signal/light stalk broke. She was unable to turn on her lights to drive at night and needed to be fixed right away, as to not miss work or other important events. I was a bit nervous to send my daughter anywhere to get it fixed, while I was out of town because I was afraid they would financially take advantage of the situation. However, after calling a few places, I found Dennis. He immediately made me feel at ease and understood my predicament (he has kids of his own). My daughter went to his shop and I was on FaceTime the entire time. He explained what needed to be fixed and what part I needed. While my daughter was there, I asked Dennis if he would check other things out on her car, making sure her car was safe to drive. He had no problem with that and said all was good. Afterwards, I found the part she needed and ordered it, to be delivered the next day. Dennis got her in right away and his partner JJ, quickly replaced it and she was on her way. "DO NOT" trust this crook! He worked on my 1964 Impala and now due to damage done by him personally, I am reporting him to BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair). He had my car for 3 months and damaged my $460 headers, $350 brand new steering wheel, forgot to put back center support bolts, vacuum hose to transmission and damaged my firewall. I also caught him lifting my car from the body instead of the frame! He had a issue where he lost his temper and slammed my steering wheel on the ground.. Impossible you might say?
