Great pizzas... but why is it always so slow?? I think it has something to do with the hostesses also being responsible for clearing the tables. There will often be 2 to 4 tables waiting to be cleaned off so that people can get seated. read more

Ordered pizza to go as we passed through on our way to Knoxville, since I am gluten free and can't order at any old fast food place. The gf pizza was good, albeit a little doughy, but it was ready by the time we got there. I ordered pepperoni and mushrooms, and unfortunately the mushrooms left a little to be desired; sparse and not well cooked. But, the place seemed cool and had a good bar. read more

Downtown Chattanooga 'Shroom is my favorite! Staff is always attentive. And the pizza.....awesome! I always get the li'l greek salad with their house made dressing to start. Went to the downtown location tonight (Saturday night). The wait there ended up to be hour long although the person at front said about 40 mins. Had the enlightened spinach salad and added jerk chicken. Although, they forgot to add dressing to the salad, it was really good with tons of chicken. I wish I wasn't so hungry I would have taken a picture. My only complaint would be more pecans and dried cherries. I would definitely go again. read more

KC was our server and just managed to serve 24 kids and 16 parents fresh from a dance competition. She got all the orders on separate tickets efficiently and not one mistake, all in a very timely manner! Thanks KC you amazing . Food was good too. read more

As expected, the food was incredible. My son and I split a medium meat pizza and had one piece left. The house calzone my wife ordered was superb. Not much selection for kids that don't like pizza but my youngest got the mac and cheese with broccoli that was very good. Unfortunately everything else left much to be desired from entry to exit. The front of house staff were less than enthusiastic about anyone being there. They seated us right next to the bathroom and never asked it that was okay considering we passed 3 empty tables on the way. Once seated our server appeared at a reasonable time but it took almost 10 minutes to get a beer after it was ordered. We ordered pretzel nuggets as an appetizer and the wings I ordered as my entree beat them to the table. Once finished it took forever to get a box and the check and then over 10 minutes for Dave to come back and take it. Very disappointing and unacceptable. I would have spoke to a manager but never saw one and was afraid of having to wait again since we were already nearing an hour there. read more

Good service, laid back atmosphere. There is a problem with cross contamination. I ordered the gluten free pizza and got full out gluten poisoning from it. If you are not going gluten free then it is a great place. For gluten free friends , STAY AWAY. read more

The service was great. We were able to be seated, order and have our food quickly. Being gluten free and dairy free, I was excited to have a gluten free crust pizza with vegan cheese (something I can't get many places). It was one of the best gluten free, dairy free pizzas I've ever had. read more

The food was as delicious as I remembered it! My dining companion and I were seated in a far corner of the restaurant, which I'm guessing is why our waitress possibly forgot about us at times before our meal arrived. My suggestion is to sit in the center of the restaurant, if you can, where you will be easily visible. read more

Mellow Mushroom is the best place to eat in downtown Chattanooga. The crust is unbelievable good! Our favorite pizza is the magic mystery tour. And there are so many amazing beers to try. The wait staff is very friendly, and they seem to really like working there. The bathrooms smell awesome, and they are always clean. It's a great place to eat and drink on the weekend with friends or bring the whole family while on vacation. We love Mellow! read more

Pizza was a little chilly because the bartender was too busy yucking it up with someone that had plenty to drink and eat. Wow, guy with the beard and nose ring, you should greet your customers. I love Mellow Mushroom this is my first time the location in Chattanooga. Not sure I will be back $30 cold Pizza. :( read more

Delicious pizza with a great selection of fresh toppings. The beer selection complemented the menu very well and the staff were great!

We showed up and had to wait for a table with a lot of open tables all over the restaurant. Then we ordered and watch two coach buses full of people walk in only to be told that they preordered and our food would not be done until there's was all finished. We had already been waiting 15-20 mins when they told us this and it would've at least 20 mins or longer. We canceled our order along with the lady sitting beside us. read more

I like mellow mushroom, but I like their cheese bread appetizer better than the actual pizza. I think the pizzas are too thin, and the cheese is still bubbling when they bring it to you, so you have to wait to eat it pretty much. My first alcoholic drink out in public was here, and I was disappointed with what they brought out. I believe it was a flirtini...? Disliked it, but that is a lot more opinionated. Service seemed nonchalant and uninvolved for the most part. Other than that, very nice surroundings. It has kind of that college bar kind of feel to it. read more

It's the same here every time I come.. Food is always great, but the service always SUCKS. It's terrible when you sit on the far end of the bar. I try to never sit there unless there's no other seat, because the bartenders never check on you and only stay near the front side of the bar. The last time I went I had to practically beg the short brunette female bartender for a couple drinks and to pay her my tab. No matter how good the food is it just gets old time after time having to beg your bartender/server for attention. read more

My boyfriend and I figured we could enjoy lunch at MM after enjoying the day in Chattanooga. To our surprise it wasn't really that busy but they still took our name and we waited. It was just the two of us and the wait was much longer than it should of been. When we finally got seated it took another 20 minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink so we figured we should just order then since service was already slow, once he came back and took drink/food order (2 calzones, just pepperoni, ham and cheese) it took 10 minutes before it was brought out about this time we were kind of getting aggravated. About an hour later our food finally arrived after several people around us who arrived later than us have already been served. The calzone was an okay meal, could of used more meats (reason for the two stars). I blame the service more on the server, he rarely came by. Maybe filled our drinks up once the whole time we were there. The manager was very nice and gave us 20% off. read more

We were very disappointed in the service and kitchen at this MM. First of all, we visited Chattanooga because our son was rowing in the Chattanooga Head Race on 10/14/17. We wanted to grab lunch between heats, and of course it was important to us to get back to the river in time to catch all of the second race. It is unacceptable to wait on PIZZA for over an hour. When our pizza was served, it was room temperature as though it had been forgotten in the kitchen. Also, my husband ordered an Italian sandwich that was not served with the pizzas. We were told by our waiter that it would be out in a bit. My husband almost lost it. We can't understand how a sandwich could require more prep time than 2 calzones and 2 pizzas. We were never offered a chance to speak to the manager or to receive any sort of discount. Our waiter acted like it was no big deal! It WAS a big deal, because I missed my son launching and the opportunity for some picture taking of his second race. Not happy. read more
