It had been years since we last visited Mellow Mushroom, and tonight was the perfect reason to come back. Everything from the atmosphere to the service was spot on. Huge thanks to Jermaine and our waiter (I hate I forgot his name!)--they were both phenomenal and made our experience even better. Our food came out quickly, and while our chicken wings were initially overcooked, Jermaine was incredibly attentive and immediately made it right by bringing us a fresh batch. That level of care really stood out. I had the sweet Thai chili wings, and they were absolutely delicious! We also ordered the Caesar chicken salad pizza, which was hands down one of the best we've had. Dining in with our kids was a great experience too--they both loved their meals from the kids menu. And to top it all off, the brownie sundae dessert was the perfect sweet ending to a wonderful family dinner. We'll definitely be back! read more

I visit here every time I'm in the area because the food never disappoints! The atmosphere is amazing and the inside decor and seating areas are perfectly situated! This place is absolutely awesome, from the selections of microbrews to the selection on Pizza it just couldn't get any better! Well it could by coming to San Diego! Service is always great, love the ambiance, I told my wife they need to play 60's Psychedelic music like Grateful Dead, Doors etc. Every time we visit the area this is a must stop! I was driving through on the way to Ft. Rucker when the hunger monster attacked me. I yelped the best places to get a slice and this restaurant came up. My wife ordered the sausage fest calzone and we shared it. As well as having a drink or two. Our server, Austin, was pleasant, efficient and helpful. He could give a class on how to take orders, handle refills yet staying sort of out of the way. The restaurant itself is clean and wonderfully decorated with unique things. I really enjoyed the colors. The parking was easy and right near the entrance. The building, including the restrooms, were clean and well maintained. Our calzone was absolutely fantastic and worth every cent. The people in the city of Enterprise have a real gem here. I will gladly visit again when spending time on Ft. Rucker. Visiting Enterprise for a few days and was happy to find Mellow Mushroom near my hotel. Stopped in twice so far and had great service and tasty food both times. Night one: Josh the bartender was fast, friendly and had good recommendations. Food was a make your own pizza. Yummy! But after seeing the thin crust that came out for those dinging next to me I probably should've chosen that. Still, really good. Night two: Pinot Grigio and a chicken Caesar. Can't go wrong there. I never thought I'd find a better Mellow Mushroom than my Sandy Springs location. And I certainly didn't think if I did find one better, it would be in Enterprise, Alabama. Who knew?? Give yourself a hefty pat on the back, Alabama. I was staying at the Hampton Inn and noticed that this place existed when I got on yelp. I was shocked to know they had anything of the sort after traveling some crazy back roads to arrive here (look, I passed maybe 3 gas stations in a 70 mile stretch and 1 traffic light). From the outside, it looks like a typical Mellow and walking in didn't strike me as anything different until I grabbed a seat at the bar and saw about 35 draft spouts staring at me. Folks, they sell flights of beer here. FLIGHTS OF BEER, HALLELUJAH! I've been to at least 5 other locations and have never seen more than 10 draft spouts or flights offered. Much less, the variety! Stouts, porters, ales, sours, ipas, hefe's, ciders ... and they had my favorite beer of all time! I've never seen Tucher served on draft anywhere else but one place. I worked the German Bierfest years ago and got to work the tent that served up this amazing Hefeweizen. The Kentucky blackberry was amazing, as well as the Orpheus sour. Their flights consist of 4 ~5oz pours, and you can select one high gravity. They also have insane happy hour specials! I had two sets of flights. I honestly didn't want to leave. My lil Greek salad and jalapeño/pineapple cheese pizza were great. Service was decent, and they were playing 80s music. I did wish the music was a little louder but, overall, I was in heaven. Look, I'm not going to tell you what to do but if you like craft beer and pizza and you are in the area, then this NEEDS to be a stop. Good damn job Enterprise! read more

Date night dinner and beers. Wait was about 45 minutes as they are still at half capacity. Sat in the car and enjoyed some music until they called on the cell phone that our table was ready. Quickly seated and Zack, our server was quick with great suggestions for beers. We ordered pretzel nuggets with beer cheese and a build your own with pepperoni, spinach and mushrooms. Our Classic's group ate here on Saturday May 20th around 3:00 . I had a small Greek Sale and Steak and cheese Hoagie. The creek salad was the best !! My hoagie was a little in the dry side not much sauce which was Mayo maybe could have used some kind of A'jus sauce or steak sauce on it. Some ordered hamburgers and they said they were dry as well. On the first full day of my Deep South adventure, I drove from New Orleans up I-59 plus Hattiesburg, then east on US-84, stopping for lunch at Monroe before arriving in Enterprise just before 3PM. I had a headache so I took a life-in-my-hands walk to CVS (apparently this small city doesn't like the idea of sidewalks along major roads) to get some aspirin, then took a short nap at my hotel. At which point I was hungry. As is consistent with my character, I'd scoped out eating establishments near the hotel prior to my trip, and after a brief internal fierce conversation, settled on the Mellow Mushroom. This decision underscores the power of good research. It was everything I'd expected and more. Granted it was a Friday night, so one must adjust accordingly, but the place was happenin'. While I wanted to sit at the bar, people-watching at my table proved more than adequate. And the beer selection - this trip wound up lasting about nine days and this was the only place that really had a decent beer selection (yes, I do use that as a factor to rate a municipality). In addition to the typical macrobrew crap, the Mushroom has an array of local IPAs, Stouts, Lagers, and others - apparently nearby Dothan is a hotbed of brewery activity. But I also discovered, to my pleasure, Tampa's Cigar City Jai Alai IPA. I may request the local BevMo to order some of this... As for food... their specialty is pizza, of which I ordered a large veggie (I was trying to go meatless on this trip, and managed to comply for two full days), and was able to eat half of it (I microwaved a slice as a late-night snack, but unfortunately was unable to complete it). But if the incredible selection of pizza is not enough, you can also choose between hoagies, salads, and calzones - something for almost everybody. If I had the room, I'm sure the dessert would've been just fine. So this restaurant is in the heart of the Deep South, but I think it'd do just fine almost anyplace. read more
