The food was ok. The atmosphere was pretty cool. We had a couple of issues with our order. They actually forgot our kids' wings. That is the worst person in our group to be missing part of their order. Anyone with kids, understands. They refunded us the price of the wings, but they messed it up in the first place by bringing us half when we ordered a full. I would probably go back, but it would be awhile and only to sit at their outside patio without kids. read more

My family and I stopped by this restaurant today to satisfy what they would call our "munchies". While the food was delicious, it took FOREVER for the person to bring the food out to us. Waiting so long may have made the food taste even better because of the fact that we were so hungry. However, when they finally did bring it out to us, we asked about something that he didn't bring out and he acted aggravated or like he didn't believe us and told us he would have to go ask about it, when he came back he had our missing plate of delicious cheese bread that I would have been sad not to receive. My wife and I arrived 30 minutes before the posted close time on 11/15/2018. We walked up to the girl that was standing at the register. We never got a greeting as she was busy doing something else. I finally ask her if they were open. She replied, "Well we will probably be closing in a few minutes." She didn't offer to take our order and went back to what she was doing. I had rather been told they were closing and did not want to take any more customers. I love the vibe of this place. It's super current & colorful in a modern hipster kind of way. I really liked how you order at front & pick your own seat & get your own drinks. This place is unlike any other Mellow Mushroom I have ever been to its counter service you wait in line to order then fix your own drinks and then find a seat. The service was fine the young lady taking our order was friendly but she kept having to answer the store telephone wile trying to take people's orders but not her fault she's just doing her job. The food the small house salad was spot on fresh and enjoyable we ordered a pepperoni pizza it was somewhere between good and just ok skip the pretzel bites they were overly dry. Came in at 3 in the afternoon. Order our food and waited 15+ for it to come out (hoagie and kids Mac 'n Cheese). The hoagie barely had any ham on it! When staff was asked about it I was told it's "2oz pre portioned" This was the smallest amount of 2oz's I've ever seen!!! This Mellow was a bit different than the others that I have been to. You order at the counter, and then they bring the food to you once it is ready. I ordered a calzone, and it was good! This place was awesome! We ordered the Maui Wowie and the pretzel bites! Delicious! The pizza was flavorful and the crust soft and chewy. The cheese dip for the pretzel bites had a great consistency and really complemented them. Both of us had a beer. When I wasn't quite sure what I wanted, the staff jumped right in, asking questions about what I like, offering a few samples to help me out. I ended up with a great beer (sorry, I was too drunk to remember the name but it was by Tennessee Brewing). The staff was also awesome when my friend dropped her beer. The extra attention embarrassed her, but that is what you get for dropping your beer and cutting yourself trying to help clean it up. They deserved their tips that night! We walked in to order and ordered 2 beers and a medium pizza. Showed them my ID then my husband showed his. They had a problem with his ID so she got MGMNT to come over and look at it. They were so busy with an almost 30 year olds ID and asking for other identification that they forgot to send our order to the kitchen!!!! This was the 3rd place we WALKED to due to the wait being long elsewhere and was treated like garbage at the place before this. We sat there for about 40 minutes before my husband asked what was going on and they had to admit they didn't send the order through. THEN no offer for a discount, or ANYTHING. Just an "oh it'll be right out." When we finally got our pizza an hour after being there, they didn't even cut the damn pizza. THEN went to the restroom, NO toilet paper. Ha ha ha read more

Pizza for the mellow mushroom is usually decent. I feel this place lacks in quality because they are dead center in the middle of pigeon forge, which in general is a tourist trap. The dough was slightly undercooked and they weren't very consistent with toppings. read more

Great flavors!!! Great experience!! My husband and I ordered for carry out on Wednesday night before thanksgiving. They were very busy. When we got to the hotel, I realized they had given us the wrong pizza so we called and Jordan was very helpful and gave us several options to fix it. So he offered to make us a pizza for thanksgiving Thursday for free (since it was already too late to return). The pizza itself is delicous and well, service, it's superb. Thanks Jordan! read more

Walking in, you are hit in the face with the aroma of cooked cheese, oil, and fresh dough. A fairly pleasant smell. As an appetizer, the pretzel bites were amazing and the beer cheese added a great extension of flavor to the already yummy pretzels. The buffalo chicken pizza is phenomenal and the drizzle of sauce is an excellent touch not only taste wise but presentation wise as well. The great white is a unique take on a margarita pizza, and it tastes like heaven in your mouth, the addition of ricotta cheese added lots of great flavor and texture. The service at the beginning of our stay was a little touch and go. The cashier was a little on edge due to the busy day so she is not to blame. Towards the end of our stay our view on the service changed due to an encounter with a gracious member of upper management. Overall, great experience and would recommend it to others. read more

We look forward to Mellow Mushroom each time we visit Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. While the food was good as usual we were disappointed with the set up of this particular location. You stand in line to order, fill your own drinks and get plates and silverware. The restaurant is even more casual than the other locations. They were out of several beers and silverware containers were empty. As a mom with three kids when I eat out I prefer to be seated and served. Great place to eat. It is a smaller Mellow Mushroom (like a mini one with a mini menu). But it was still the same great Mellow Mushroom. I love their cheese and pepperoni calzone. My mother had a turkey sandwich that she liked. Service was great. Would definitely eat there again. read more

Have been to Mellow mushroom in Georgia but have never visited this one until tonight. I have never experienced nicer staff anywhere else I have ever dined. After ordering our drinks my husband and I was just hanging out when the manager came to our table and informed us that our diner was on the house because it had taken too long to receive our salads. We honestly had no idea that it had been too long. They brought out our wings later and the food was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this establishment for everyone to visit not only because of their delicious food but wonderful hospitality. Very good pizza crust. Sauce tasted good. We got pizza one night and a hoagie and calzone another night. Service was quick and hospitable. The cookies at checkout are good too.
