Reserved a table here for a friend's rehearsal dinner and they were SO accommodating. The service was absolutely incredible. The food was such a unique dining style. We absolutely loved the dishes. There were countless unique styles of pizza and dessert pizzas. For the price it is well worth it! The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous with an incredible view of the sunset and pigeon forge. Wonderful experience and would love to come back should we visit the area again!

A Must-Try Brazilian Pizza Experience in Pigeon Forge! Advice from a local PizzaRio isn't your average pizza joint--it's a Brazilian-style, all-you-can-eat pizza experience that will absolutely blow your mind. For just $28.50 per adult (yes, seriously!), you get a full meal that includes appetizers, a rotating variety of savory pizzas, and the most mouthwatering dessert pizzas you'll ever taste. Kids pricing is available too, which makes it a great spot for families. Let's talk about the Nacho Pizza--hands down the best thing I've ever had on a crust. Think crispy edges, perfectly seasoned meat, melty cheese, and all your favorite nacho toppings layered like a dream. It's bold, savory, and totally addictive. Every time it came around, we said "yes" without hesitation. But it doesn't stop there. The servers bring around a huge variety of pizzas straight to your table Rodízio style, just like Brazilian steakhouses--only this time, it's pizza heaven. Every slice is fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. Then comes dessert... and wow. The Bananas Foster Pizza deserves its own moment. Warm caramelized bananas, cinnamon, sweet glaze, and a soft, chewy crust--it tastes like a hug and a celebration all in one bite. They offer other dessert pizzas too (like Nutella and Dolce Coconut!), but that Bananas Foster one is next-level unforgettable. From start to finish, the experience is fun, filling, and totally unique. Whether you're a pizza purist or an adventurous eater, PizzaRio is a win. Great value, incredible food, and something for everyone. Do yourself a favor--skip the usual and give PizzaRio a try. You won't leave hungry, and you definitely won't forget it.

first, i want to give a ton of credit to our wonderful waiter - he was SUPER friendly and so kind! he made our entire meal so much better by bringing me an entire saucer full of lemon wedges when i asked. he was able to explain the concept of the restaurant to us very easily and was quick with the appetizers and drinks we ordered. i really did enjoy the salad. that lemon honey vinaigrette with sun dried tomatoes was absolutely delicious. and the crostini? that was perfectly crispy and had the perfect amount of flavor, in my opinion. the savory pizza, i would say, was maybe subpar. it wasn't bad, it just wasn't what i was expecting. out of the ones i did try, the quatro queijos was the best with all the cheeses. the dessert pizza was the star as the banoffee was probably my favorite! that and the beijinho, i just love anything with coconut and this reminded me of the inside of a mounds bar without the chocolate coating. the outside was beautiful, and the inside was very open plan and didn't feel too crowded either, which i appreciated. i likely won't return as AYCE places make it hard for me to feel like i'm eating my money's worth but this was a really nice experience for what it was.

Wonderful ambiance, soft Brazilian music in background. Fireplace, bar seating as well. Excellent service, AYCE price too. Recommend if you're looking to try something different, filling.

Honestly we were a little worried due to some negative recent reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised! Yes, $32.50 seems like a like but for our party of seven, it was perfect! You get focaccia and crostini, meatballs, 2 salads, and wings of various flavors! We shared it all and ask for more! The pizzas were perfectly cooked. Lots of toppings and crispy crust! And get ready for some amazing dessert selections! The bananas foster...chefs kiss! The servers were super accommodating and we had no problems with the service! Thank for a great Brazilian Pizza Experience!!

I am finding it hard to really get a gauge this restaurant. I did like the vibe and style. The bar options were very tasty and surprising. The appetizers were a surprise hit. The bread selection and the Caesar salad were excellent. The wings were good flavors but could have been a little crispier. The pizzas were hit or miss. Most were a little soft and could have been crispier. Most of the pizzas were basic and nothing remarkable. A few of the Brazilian based flavors were much better. I really wanted to like it better than I did in the end.

Gluten free crust, all the desserts. Nutella and strawberry, beijinho, doce de leite coco, banoffee, brigadeiro.

My wife and I went round and round about where to go to dinner on our last in Tennessee. We decided on Rio because we wanted a wide variety of pizza options. Think Brazilian steakhouse meats very upscale pizza buffet. This restaurant was amazing. My wife and I try to eat as gluten free as possible. They actually made us an entire pizza segmented into 8 different slices so we could try all the pizzas. We chose the option that came with as many apps (salad, wings, meatballs and cheese crustinis as you wanted. If you are looking to try something unique in pigeon forge or Gatlinburg, I (we) would highly recommend Rio!!

My teams decided on Pizza Rio for our annual Christmas party. I called ahead and the manager Ani was very kind and accommodated our lively group. We had two extras join and she even slid an extra table together to give us space for everyone. The entrance is a pleasant walk from the parking lot. The space is very modern and gives way to cathedral ceilings in the main dining room. The open kitchen concept allows guests to see each pizza being fired in the oven. It was nicely decorated and had a spacious feel. Fun for the kids to get a slice of the pizza preparation and see the servers bring out each pie. The server Daniella said they had been operating for two years in Pigeon Forge. We were each offered house salad with sun dried tomatoes that came dressed, Caesar salad and wings with your choice of bbq, Buffalo, garlic Parmesan. They also offer meatballs and sauce as a starter. Our group shared salads and wings and were quickly ready for what I would call pizza-polooza! The stand outs were 4 cheese, broccoli and bacon, frango com catupiry (chicken and cheese) and Portuguese (had eggs), ham, onion, and black olives. We had Hawaiian, a cheese pizza loaded with pineapple, but my favorite was the nacho pizza. It was a cheesy beef with crushed Doritos. It looked odd but the flavor and crunch of the chips was something I didn't expect to enjoy but it slapped. The dough was created to be thin but yet not heavy and full of gluten. We all felt light and not like we had just eaten a dozen or more slices each. The service was excellent and we had everyone satisfied but just like that it was time for dessert pizza. Nutella/banana and Nutella/strawberry were a hit. But the sweet special with coconut was creative and not sure about anyone else, but I liked it. We were offered after dinner cocktails but most of the group had their fill by then. An Irish coffee made its way to the table and I passed as I couldn't imagine any more sugar after 3 dessert slices. Our server was kind enough to split up our bill and Oscar assisted to make sure everything was handled. We took our group photo by the fireplace and it was an excellent experience for everyone. It would be best to call ahead if you have a party of more than 25. They have a nice bar area as well near the front. I could see myself going back to try out a few caipirinhas. Or taking a closer look at the wine wall. Cheers!

Good place. I was a little confused at the start but basically you are seated, order your drink and they'll have a menu. They will ask what you want to start, everything is included except the drinks ($3.75 each). You'll order salad and wings that you want from that menu. Then they'll bring by all the pizzas they offer and once you've tried them all they will bring more that you may like. They were all very good. Then when your ready they will bring the dessert pizzas out. It was very quiet, it was just us a 2 other tables. Which was great because everywhere else we had tried was atleast 30 minutes to wait. Staff was super friendly and food was delicious. It's pricey but it was really good. It was close to $100 for 2 kids (1 was free) and 2 adults. I gave one less star just because it is pretty pricey and my kids only eat cheese pizza and it was the only pizza that was oddly very salty.

My husband and I had a fun Rodizio pizza dinner at Pizza Rio (April, 2025). Rodizio is Portuguese for "rotation", and this Brazilian restaurant did just that, a continuous all-you-can-eat rotation of appetizers, pizza, and dessert for $28.50 ($16.50 (ages 8-12), $10.50 (ages 4-7), free for ages under 3). There is also a brunch option on Saturdays and Sundays. The pre-set menu started with hearty APPETIZERS: *your choice of salad, either (or both) classic traditional Caesar with Parmesan and croutons or mixed greens dressed with a lemon honey vinaigrette and garnished with sun-dried tomatoes. (We split one of each; both fresh and very good. Rating: 5/5). *Brazilian-style lightly-breaded chicken wings (Rating: 4/5). Each plate consisted of four wings in your choice of flavors. We tried the teriyaki; BBQ; and garlic Parmesan, with BBQ being our favorite. We didn't try the spicy Buffalo flavor. *four almondegas (rating: 4/5), house-made pork and beef meatballs simmered in a savory marinara tomato sauce. These were tasty but we prefer a thicker sauce. *Slices of Focaccia and crostini (very good, 5/5). PIZZAS. (Rating: 4/5). Then, the main event! Waiters circulated in the dining room, offering slices of freshly-prepared, fire-baked, thin-crusted pizzas. Each pizza featured a naturally fermented sourdough crust, house-made pomodoro petati sauce, and mozzarella cheese. There were 16 flavors to choose from, with many unique flavor combinations. We intentionally selected the smallest slices so we could try more flavors! My husband had five slices -- (1) Quatro Queijos, or four cheese, featuring Parmesan, blue cheese, catupiry, and mozzarella; (2) Portuguesa, breakfast on a pizza! - ham, onion, bell pepper, eggs, and black olives. (3) brocolis com bacon - broccoli, bacon, and catupiry cheese. (4) supreme, with pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, and black olives. (5) Hawaiian, with pineapple and sliced ham. I could manage only three - (1) stroganoff de frango, chicken stroganoff with potato sticks. (2) mushroom, with a mix of sautéed mushrooms, and (3) picanha com alho, slices of sirloin steak and garlic-infused olive oil. Perhaps predictably, our favorites were those that we tend to prefer at any pizza shop -- supreme for my husband; mushroom for me. A slight mark-down on rating because a few of the slices could've spent a bit more time in the fire oven; the crusts weren't consistently crispy. DESSERT PIZZAS. (Rating: 3/5). Six dessert pizzas were offered: (1) Nutella com Morango (strawberries); (2) Beijinho, authentic coconut brigadeiro topped with colorful sprinkles; (3) doce de leite com coco, the authentic Brazilian Dulce de leche, topped with coconut flakes; (4) Banofee, Dulce de leche, banana, cinnamon, and whipped cream; (5) brigadeiro, with chocolate sprinkles; and (6) the daily Sweet Special, coffee. We again ordered the smallest slices of each of these, and split them. All were acceptable, but we had reached the point that we had eaten two many pizzas with crusts. Suggestion: it would've been nice to offer these desserts in small cups without pizza crusts. WAIT STAFF. (Rating: 5/5). Staff were incredible; we were well taken care of. We had a delightful main waiter who checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything, refilled our water and ice Jugs, etc. This waiter was from Istanbul, Turkey, a country that we visited a few years ago. We enjoyed comparing a few travel notes and my husband practiced some phrases in Turkish. A cadre of other waiters were regularly dropping by and encouraging us to try more options. At one point, my husband asked if two specific flavors of pizza would be coming around. A few minutes later, fresh and hot slices of those two were delivered to him. DRINKS. The restaurant offers handcrafted sangrias and cocktails, a signature wine list, juices, sodas, coffees and teas. We cannot comment on these as we selected only to have water with this meal. AMBIANCE. (5/5). The restaurant is an inviting, modern beautiful space with wide open spaces and soaring ceilings. Tables are set sufficiently apart to offer privacy and space for the waiters to circulate. You can see the food being freshly prepared and fire-baked pizzas going into the ovens. Restrooms were spotless. The restaurant takes reservations; we were able to secure a table early in the evening as walk-ins. Parking is plentiful and free.

The service was amazing. The pizza selection was varied, but the flavor was just ok. Very thick crust and minimal toppings. Almost no sauce to speak of, so pretty normal for Brazilian pizza. You will however get all you can eat. The dining area was enjoyable and very clean.

Knowing we were going up to the arts district, I looked for a place to meet them before the circle and saw there was a Celtic Pub. Only that was the spot where the drum circle was. And, to my surprise, it is the same owner as the Fox & Parrot Tavern in Gatlinburg, one of my favorite English pubs (and currently closed do to a feud with the US government - hope that gets fixed). The place is definitely British country feeling. Very nice tap list, including both local brews and standard UK brews. Heavy wood feeling with a very nice deck outside, which includes some spots under cover (which was important as it rained on the circle and people had to duck in). There is nothing elegant about the place or the food. But that is its charm. The fish & chips were on point, esp. with the malt vinegar. Shepherd's Pie a bit salty for my tastes, but not to the salt lick level. Also came with chips. As for the drum circle, if you are reading this in June 2026, that is every Monday at 6-8 PM through the end of the month. I got some great drone footage of the circle, which I added to this review.

I would never come here if I was in a hurry, but if you have 2+ hours to eat and want good food in a storied place with staff who will treat you like friends, you're going to love the Rampant Lion. NOTES: -In rural TN, it should not surprise you, but be aware that they have Trump displays in the restaurant. -The restrooms are single stall and accessed from outdoor. They're indoor restrooms - just the door to access them is on the outside. (No porta potties) They're solidly clean - just make sure to pack clothing that works for the temperature outside because you might be dipping outside a few times. -Parking lot is small and gravel. Relatively easy to get in and out of though. -Amazing gin selection with staff that *clearly* knows their gins. -Adorable photos of the owners on slideshow of their trip to Europe on the wall. It's adorably and clearly a couple who was on a good vacation. We've had a good chunk of their menu at this point. Pretzels: Delicious beer chese AND delicious pretzels. Quite a bit of food with this too. Bread, Oil, & Vinegar: Wasn't super fond of this one. A ton of oil in a bowl made it hard to get the right oil-to-vinegar ratio. Chicken Pie: Deliciously breaded with super-tasty french fries too. Served piping hot, so it took a bit to be able to eat it without burning myself but a wait well-made. Reuben: Partner absolutely loved it and said the bread was the absolute perfect consistency. SO much meat in there too (though he said it could use a bit of extra dressing). Bubbles and Squeak: Delicious. Just delicious. Zero notes, you should eat it. Beanie Weenies: Home-made right in the restaurant! My favorite thing on the menu. Super savory, semi-healthy (beans...at least?), and served super warm. Comfort food at its finest. Menu in-restaurant was different than online one on a few things.

Unfortunately, we didn't try the tum yum, which is honestly the bar I judge every Thai restaurant by (I want to taste that galangal and kaffir leaf), next time. Took pictures after we chowed down this time. I do need to warn that their medium spicy level is actually spicy, which I enjoyed, but others may not. I do highly recommend if you are in the area and craving Thai. ----------- Update: went back and tried the Tom Yum. It was good, but was missing the "kick" and depth of sour flavor I prefer. Also would add that the food can get pricey fairly quickly if you get multiple dishes. Chicken satay was delicious, highly recommend. I'd still go back and recommend coming here though.

Another tourist trap that is way overpriced, serves sub par food, and isn't up to my cleanliness…read morestandards. We love Thai food, and having lived in the Seattle area for a long time, have eaten our fair of excellent Thai food. This was amongst the worst I've had. I was suspicious as soon as we walked in regarding the quality and standards we might experience so we wisely shared one dish-Panang curry with beef. My husband also got a Singha beer. My husband-who will eat what I consider the cheapest of beef and love it- would not eat the beef in this dish. He said it had a strange taste and texture. I agreed that it was unusual and steered clear as well. Be careful, they add 18% gratuity to your bill, then ask for a tip when they give you their device. Even without an additional tip, we walked out of there having spent $38 on a meal we could barely gag down, and one beer. Skip it!

My boyfriend and I shared a medium margherita pizza, add pepperoni. The crust was delicious - perfect thickness and a great crunch, with nice seasoning. The toppings were also perfect, right amount of sauce, tons of fresh mozz, and fresh basil, and a solid amount of pepperoni. I just ordered inside and they brought it to the picnic table outside for us, but all our interactions with staff were pleasant. It was pretty busy while we were there, both with carry out and on the patio, so it seemed like a consistently good place to grab pizza from. Our meal was just under $30 for the pizza with pepperoni added and a side of garlic sauce. It was plenty for us to share for dinner and my boyfriend had 2 slices leftover for lunch the next day. We would definitely return next time we're in the area!
