Love the Mellow Mushroom chain of restaurants, typically the food is great and the atmosphere is fresh and exciting. Unfortunately this location was a disappointment. The pizza and pretzels were undercooked and myself and daughter got sick afterwards. The location was very busy and it seems like the food was rushed. read more

Different style of pizza than I am used to... Would definitely recommend Mellow Mushroom if you have never been there. All shorts of different kinds of toppings from many different meats to about any vegetable imaginable. If you are a pizza lover, this would be a good change up for you.. read more

Wow what sucky service. Had to go to the bathroom to get Xtra napkins for my 8 month old son. There are better options around pigeon forge then this dump. The pizza is good. But any pizza off of a rock is better then what your used to. Just slow service. I don't expect you to be on point all the time but act like you want a tip and want me to come back. Eh... Was looking forward to this due to the good reviews on here and trip advisor. The pizza was okay, but I actually thought Big Daddy's wood fired pizza was better. We had to wait a while for our food as there was a mix up with the table next to us and they had to make them another pizza. The restaurant is very clean and the bathrooms have a baby changing station inside of a stall which was the positive for me. The pizza was just OK though. There are much better places with pizza in the area. read more

Great experience and my family loved the atmosphere!! The menu was amazing especially because my family is vegan so they had multiple options and the waitress was very helpful!! My wife and I went here first thinking it was just like our mellow shroom back home, but it's a newer alternative style to the original. A cool concept, has a really nice environment, especially with the outside seating. I can't give it 5 stars only because they didn't have the specialty pizza we went for(The Caesar!), so we went down the road to the full mellow mushroom. This was the best food I had the whole time I was in Pigeon Forge. They are located right next to the wheel and there was music you could hear even from inside the dining area. The pizza took a bit of time to get but they were so busy even at 9pm at night. Once we got the pizza it was so good. I will most def be back to that location. read more

Great Pizza.... But the service was awful!!!! I've never been treated so poorly in my life. My mom and I took a girls trip for the first time ever and having a great time not a DRUNK time and we got treated as if we were waisted. Ordering a pizza was a challenge because the girl taking our order looked as if she was on some major drugs and couldn't comprehend what we were saying. I bypassed that situation and mom and I decided we would have a drink while we were waiting on our pizza. We get out to the bar and the bartender looks at us Stern and says how much have you had to drink tonight?? I didn't know if she was trying to be comical or if it was a serious question because we are in Tennessee and vacationing on the island of pigeon forge. I simply asked how much a frozen drink was and she thought I was drunk by saying that. So she refused to serve us and even called her manager out to talk to us which didn't help any because he didn't talk to us or help his customer. We were not there to cause an argument we were just there to have a drink while waiting on our pizza and the bartender tommy (she) wanted to accuse us of being wasted and Matt (he) did nothing for his customers. Poor poor poor poor service and management!!!!!!!! Moral of the story don't go there if Tommy is bartending and Matt is managing the place but all in all Margaritaville hotel is amazing and the management here is unbelievable so just bypass mellow mushroom!!!! read more

We decided to go there to order for our lunch before the free Thomas Square concert at the new Ole' Smoky on the island and we've decided to order a pizza for the group of five. Everyone had bought alcohols except me as I don't drink alcohol and while we were waiting for our pizzas we were given some cheese stick or something like them which that was very delicious that worth my lunch. We had wait for a few minutes, I believe about fifteen minutes at the most until the waitress bought over our pizza for all of us to eat for our lunch and I took a slice of the pizza then inspect the food myself as I am very picky with the foods due to the looks and the feelings of the foods. After taking a bite of the pizza, at the first I thought that it was a-okay then I took a couple more bites which now it confirmed that their pizza was a-okay and they could've do a lot better with their pizzas because I had much better at the worst pizza restaurant I ate before (giovanni's). Although I do really like their cheese stick or whatever that was with a bread that has cheese on them at the top along with garlic spread all over. read more

We ate here New Year's Eve and it was a great experience. We had a great waiter and the food was delicious. The pizza crust is by far the best. The pretzels also make for a great appetizer if you're a bread lover. read more

We've eaten at mellow mushroom before and have been very pleased. However this time it was super disappointing. We all ( myself and my 2 teen age sons) ordered something different and none of us ate our food. I paid our check and we left hungry. read more

The food here was fabulous! I believe there are issues here that need much improvement however. I really wanted to get up and get the manager but decided to just watch and see how this place operates and was here for about two to three hours so I feel I got a good picture of what was going on this night. I watched about 15 or more people here walk out of your restaurant because the bartender ignored them and did not care to wait on them. I saw tables not cleaned for an hour despite servers coming to deliver pizza and walk away with nothing in their hands to return to wherever they went. When the next bartender came on duty who had some kind of tattoo on his left arm with date 4 13 on I believe he was the one that started to take care of all the people at the bar and he was the one that cleared the tables and got the place looking half decent. The first bartender who was here for at least an hour I watched is giving this place the reputation that service sucks and is making you lose tons of business and service for him is probation no improvement go home however the other bartender and the food brings it up to a two to three star place. I do not understand why you don't have menus either for people at the patio to decide what to eat makes it more convenient for patrons like a normal restaurant. read more
