We had a takeout order for a party of eight (4 adults / 4 kids) and were able to feed the crew for the $80 so that is good but also we weren't highly motivated to eat because the food was pretty bland. The pizza was probably the lowlight. It was... Pizza. Too much crust and wasn't tasty. Dry. We had mozzarella sticks (average for mozzarella sticks), cheesy bread (average or slightly below), and chicken tenders and fries (average but fries a little mushy). It was decent and it's a busy time of year. Maybe it's better on slow days. We would not return though. read more

TL;DR - A small, family owned gem that is a bit off the beaten path that is well worth the experience. We got into Gatlinburg around dinner time, staying at a friend's condo up Ski Mountain and saw this on the way up. When the group was assembled, we decided to eat here (the closest place). Nice family owned pizzeria. From my personal perspective, the beer list is a bit weak. But, considering the location, I don't think it would be wise to create a well-curated tap list. The short story here is don't go for the beer. ;-) The pizza is a different story. Very nicely made with plenty of options. As another reviewer has stated, the food has great ingredients that are prepped on site. I ended up with leftovers which made a great breakfast the next morning. You can see a picture of the pie I got with a friend, which was a wonderful white pizza base with higher quality mozzarella, topped with tomatoes, onions, fresh diced garlic, and pepperoni. I now forget if this was a slight alteration to an option on the menu or a complete customization (my friend does not particularly like marina). The atmosphere is also nice. Feels a bit like a mountain cabin inside. Not a huge amount of tables (8-10), but it appears most of the locals are more inclined get take out, and we saw quite a few people walk in for a pie to go. I have some pictures of the place, the menu, and the entertainment (a big black bear who shows up from time to time to check the trash cans). next time I am in the area, I would gladly consider another run here. read more

The cheese was alright, but the real test was the margarita, I feel this is a barometer for a pizza place. It was probably a 7/10 overall, but being so drunk most likely inflated that by 2-3 points. This place is legit! My wife, daughter, and I visited this establishment after hiking to Clingmans Dome about a week ago. We arrived around 3PM when it wasn't busy. We were seated immediately by very friendly staff. We ordered a "Jumbo" pepperoni pizza and my wife got a Mediterranean salad to go with her pizza. The food was delivered quickly, and it was very fresh. They use real full-fat mozzarella that is absolutely delicious. The crust is thin and cooked to perfection. While eating I overheard the owner speaking to an employee about the technicalities of fermenting the dough at different temperatures. This man takes pride in his craft. When I went to pay I had a chance to speak to the owner and compliment him on the quality of the pizza. He has been the new owner for about two months, and was very humble. The total price for the food was around $34 with drinks, which is more than fair for the quality. The staff even gave my daughter a free desert as we left.
