Service was awful! Will not be returning anytime soon. Our waitress did nothing to make it better. Took forever to get a beer. Pizza took a very long time and our wings were forgotten about. Food has gone down here. Elevated Cobb is no longer elevated. It now a flat mess that the chef throws together. Chicken and bacon are now in huge chunks and not finely decorated. Just big pieces of meat and lettuce. When I asked the waiter is there a new chef the waiter advised yes he is fairly new. He called the manager due to being dissatisfied and she refused to take accountability for the mess I was served and tried to act like I was thinking of somewhere else. The nerve after 10 years of eating here. When I asked her if there was a new chef she lied in my face not knowing the waiter had already advised the truth. No longer a customer here. I really, really used to to love this place but tonight's experience has me thinking Little Ceasar's again. I had a hankering for salad and my wife decided we wanted a pizza when we got there. We ordered two of the build your own salads and while good they are way, way overpriced. Add-ons which are encouraged and plentiful simply add up, Base price of $2.62 was OK but we added (to each) black olives, onions, ham, salami and mozzarella. Each add-on is $1.49 per salad bringing our salad total to about $10 each. Good, but not that good, First thing our server, olivia did was swap our salads and my wife HATES bleu cheese. I asked twice for more dressing and never did get it. Was without water for about ten minutes when she finally noticed and asked if I wanted a refill. Well DUH. She ordered a small House Pizza and I mean it is SMALL which cost #13.49. Very good but way overpriced in my book. All in all, very good food and way, way overpriced. Combine this with mediocre service and I think it will be a long time before I darken their doors again. Better service would have helped the bitter taste of the cost,,,, I know prices are posted but dang this was bad. Servers, at least this one need to spend less time behind bar with her bugs and more time checking on people she is serving and it would behoove her to get orders right. simply pay a little more attention to detail. read more

We love Mellow Mushroom! Chains usually are lackluster and inconsistent across regions, or their quality just doesn't reach the local standards for "good" food. I may be a native New Yorker, and pizza is part of my DNA, but I recognize greatness when I see it and especially when I taste it. The dough here is excellent. Apparently it's spring water dough. I have no idea what that means, but it is bouncy, crisp af on the bottom, and just fills your mouth in the best way possible ;) We got the Holy Shiitake - veganized with Follow Your Heart cheese, assorted mushrooms (the mushroom trio is not vegan btw), garlic instead of the garlic aioli, and kept the chives and truffle oil (bc why wouldn't you?????) And it was amazing. I'm not sure what the garlic situation was but whatever it was tastes like Papa John's garlic sauce as it is crack. Holy Shiitake indeed... TBH this might've been the best pizza K and I ever had together. It's not NY-, Chicago-, Napoli-, or Sicilian- style, but it certainly holds its own. And it gets extra points for being vegan friendly! Beer list is also great, featuring interesting local products and more well-known options. All in all very solid and highly recommend! read more

Service and food was ok but the staff's attention to detail of my credit card was excellent! I have not handed ANYONE my credit card in many weeks until I visited this restaurant. Later that same day and the next morning there were MULTIPLE fraudulent charges made with my credit card. Coincidence? I don't think so. I think I've been to EVERY Mellow Mushroom in the Metro Atlanta area and the food and customer service is always consistent (Which is to say, pretty expletive good!) If I've ever had any hiccups, Management and staff have ALWAYS made it right. This particular location ALWAYS maintains what I know to be the Mellow Mushroom standard and not so much aesthetically, but customer service and taste-wise, it just might be 1 of my favorite Metro Mellows. read more

My waiter Jon was excellent- he was giving suggestions left and right as well as giving me advice on things to do during my trip! Before being vegan, I loved Mellow Mushroom. But someone is not reading the orders correctly or just careless. I am pregnant and on bedrest, so I have to get food delivered or my husband pick up. Yesterday (4/15/14) my good friends and I stopped here for lunch. My friend kept telling me about Mellow Mushrooms killer "MAUI WOWIE" pie that is much different than traditional pizza's, this one has a whole wheat crust layered in basil pesto instead of tomato sauce and comes with pineapple, ham, jerk chicken, mozzarella cheese, banana peppers, and apple wood smoked bacon (which I took off). [ Restroom ] For those who read my reviews, you probably notice that I often mention restroom quite often. First, people should ALWAYS wash their hands before they eat. Just think of all the nasty things you touch before you sit at a table and put food in your mouth. Beyond that, think of all the people who DON'T wash their hands after they use the restroom and you touch everything they touch, shaking their hand, touching the door, etc... This is how bacteria and viruses are spread. Anyhow, the restroom at the Stockbridge Mellow Mushroom was very clean. They had some really cool art on the walls in there as well. [ Service ] The service was outstanding, especially from a pizza joint. I have eaten at quite a few pizza places and usually servers just take your order, drop it off and only come back to drop off the check. So I was expecting the same thing. Of course, every server is different than the next. During our visit yesterday, our server was Dillon. He was really cool. When I eat fatty foods, pizza definitely being one of them, I like drinking hot tea and Dillon went out of his way to get me one, which is outstanding service. He consistently checked on us to make sure everything was great. Dillon was really friendly, hilarious as well and took a moment to talk to us, while we were discussing cycling, as he is a BMX biker. [ Food ] My friends had their Greek salad and I had the Caesar salad. They were really fresh, crisp and even though they were the smaller ones, they were perfect portions. The Maui Wowie pizza tasted really good. I liked the basil pesto; it had a great flavor. My only suggestion is that because the pizza already has ham on it, the bacon should be left off it, but that is just my opinion. I loved the wheat crust, that was excellent. [ Summary ] The pizza and salads were good and the customer service here was excellent from our server Dillon. The restaurant has cool art throughout the place, has televisions for those who can't get enough of the box at home and has clean restrooms. Overall, I would recommend this place. read more

10 minute wait for a pizza that was already done and boxed with 4 different ladies coming and going from the cash register. I asked for help and no one could help me - cashiers standing there - answering the phone and taking pizza to curbside that came out of the oven while I was standing there - ridiculous - they weren't that busy and any one of them could have offered to help and handed me my pre-paid and very over-tipped pizza. read more

Stopped at this restaurant/bar on our way home from Knoxville. When we go to a new place we like to start with something simple. If simple is made well than we know we can explore further. We had the most delicious cheese pizza. The crust was very crunchy and had the perfect amount of tomato sauce and cheese. It was hand tossed and the tomato sauce tasted as if it was freshly made. It was more of a New York style pizza. The place is spacious with outdoor seating and situated in a convenient shopping center. The staff is friendly, there is plenty of parking and facilities are clean. Plan to go back on our next road trip. read more

GOOD: I'm always pleased when seats are immediately available. Everyone was pleasant & professional and there was no wait for anything. GREAT: Sam was our server, and she was awesome. She took our drink orders right away & gave us time to figure what we wanted. I didn't feel rushed or pressured to place an order and she suggested a few things. Sam was upfront concerning things that would be additionally charged; such as extra olives in my Greek salad and other things. No surprises on the check ; ) The food was great and there were NO complaints from me nor my friend. The Lil Greek salad basically filled me up & I split it with my friend. I also ordered a small House Special pizza; which is sort of like a supreme pizza. We also checked in with Yelp & received a free pretzel bites appetizer which was delicious with a cheese dip. BAD: N/A UGLY: N/A There was no negatives during this visit & we sat on the patio and I was surprised there was NO bugs or flying insects. I'll definitely be back! I remember the old MM on Spring Street. It was glorious. A decade or two later, they had great whole wheat crust pizza dough and every new location felt like a clone of the original. Somewhere along the way, they must have hired someone from McDonalds to standardize it and it's just another pizza bar food location. Sad. read more

They always have the best pizzas around. My favorite is to get the mystery magic pizza. It's a special type of pizza but it's very good and packed with flavor. The ambiance is definitely out of the 1969 Woodstock era. Very hippie theme colors on the wall. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is always on point. Love this spot! read more

However, I prefer 15th Street Pizza over MM. 15ths crust taste so much better and their sandwiches are better as well. And I will eat at either as I believe both are very good. Our server Chris (The Ginger Server As He Called Himself) was fantastic. We had multiple orders and my 2 baby cousins ( under the age of 5) were hungry and exhausted. My uncle asked if they orders could come out first and Chris promptly provided excellent service. The kids are first and loved their flat bread pizza. We had more meals to order to eat while there and one to go. Chris handled all the orders with ease and made sure they were fulfilled to our liking. He checked up on us frequently and refreshed our drinks without asking. The food was fantastic. I was so hungry that I didn't take any pictures of it but the Thia chilli wings were delicious, the Greek salads were fresh and the bruschetta bread was crisp. Sooooo...I frequent this establishment quite often but I must admit that I am re-thinking some things... I love Mellow Mushroom's mantra-- the spring water dough- right on! Made to order salads, extended, better quality toppings... But, this particular store has a few things that I would love to see changed-- this would surely bring the 3 stars to 4.5 stars: 1. Several months ago, I had the unfortunate experience of a bug crawling on the outside of the pizza box...The pizza (which I ordered as take-out) was ready to go- as I went to pick it up- I saw a creepy crawly-- Fast forward to the manager coming out- explaining that bugs come from outside- they spray every night-- she comped the food, and made me a drink (on the house)...As a former server, in a couple of different establishments- I understand the ins and outs of food service... 2. Last night, I ordered a small pizza (to-go) and when I arrived it was ready to go...As I was checking out, the same manager that helped me months ago came around to make sure that we had been helped...I noticed that she had commercial grade bug spray in her hand. Maybe it's my overactive imagination but it's started to get to me...It's obvious that they are working on their bug problem but it doesn't bode well for me as a consumer/customer...I want to patronize businesses in my area...but this makes it a tad more difficult... 3. This last thing might be minuscule compared to the aforementioned but when i go, i normally one of two specialty pies. The last few times I've ordered, they have run out of one of the toppings (garlic aioli) that puts the finish on the pie...One thing that is very important to me is consistency...once small things (details) start to not matter-- the entire cookie begins to crumble-- So...what can you take from this review? I wrestled over even making this review because I'm not interested in downing any business- but as a consumer-- I believe in giving me all of the info so that you can make an informed decision. Had a really great experience here today. Our server I think his name was Joseph (he has the ponytail and was working the outside) was awesome and really engaging. Not only did he speak with me and my 14 year old....he also entertained my 4 month old. We had a slight mishap with the food and he immediately returned it, put in a new order and had the manager Tabitha come and speak with us. She was very friendly as well.
