She smelled good and looked a whole size smaller from all the fur the my blew off! I was just surprised when I heard my total was like $79. I guess that was my bad for not asking to begin with. I'd still bring my dog here; she's worth it!

In addition to telling them specifically how I wanted my dog's face cut I also explained how I didn't want the hair above his nose to be shaved down due to the fact I hated that look and I wanted the round cut. She assured me that was fine since he had more than enough hair. I come to pick him up ( 3+hours later) and his cut is the EXACT WAY I SAID I DID NOT WANT IT!!!I asked why did they cut it that way and her reason was because she forgot. How do you forget the specific instruction on a cut of a paying customer. I explained it and left a picture for her to just cut my dog the way she felt she wanted to cut him. I expressed how I hated it and I should be compensated. This experience was horrible. A groomer is someone you should trust to listen to you and provide a service. I will NEVER return. I left in tears because my request was not unreasonable and all I got was that she forgot! That is totally unacceptable!! Once my review was posted and the owner replied, I then get a text with the following reply which is a complete LIE! I asked more than once if it was due to my puppy being hyper and was told it wasn't NOT. Hime being hyper wasn't even mentioned until they tried to go around the fact that she simply forgot to cut him as I requested. No accountability and no responsibility on their part in FORGETTING ( her exact words) to respect my request on a cut. I would rather them just apologize than to try and cover it up or make "better" by lying. I left a review to others to see my experience and to be careful. I would have more respect if they replied with accountability and the fact that they should listen better and communicate better.

I did and I was able to book an appointment for a week later via text. They did ask me to provide vaccination proof as well as a $35 deposit, all of which weren't unexpected. Upon arrival, everyone was friendly. They took my pup in without a hassle. They were very quick, about 90 minutes. I've actually never been to a groomer that got my pup done in under 2 hours so I was a bit concerned that it may not be well detailed. However once I picked him up, I was super happy with everything. He looked super cute and Fuzzy Tails gave exactly what I asked for! Overall, I 110% recommended this place for dog grooming. Again since I'm out of town, I likely won't be coming back anytime soon. But if I did live in Houston, I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

I reached out to Sparkling Pets after my aunt recommended them, saying they did well with her doodle. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely upsetting. When the groomer returned my dog, he was actively bleeding from his ear. His face and coat were smeared with blood. The groomer told me it happened while brushing and claimed the bleeding would stop and then start again. She also admitted she couldn't get it to stop. I would assume a professional groomer would have the proper supplies on hand to handle situations like this. Instead, I had to apply cornstarch myself to stop the bleeding. Accidents can happen, but the way this was handled was unacceptable. The fact that she handed me a visibly bleeding dog and didn't seem to have a proper solution or show serious concern is deeply troubling. When you pay a professional, it's because you believe they'll treat your pet with the care and skill you would--or better. That was not the case here. Never again. I do not recommend Sparkling Pets to anyone who values their pet's well-being.

This place is just that incredible. I got my Golden Retriever, Rosebud, groomed for the first time following an ACL tear a few months ago - they accommodated that situation perfectly. Cautious, yet very accommodating. When I picked up Rosebud, she looked so beautiful! Our groomer did a fantastic job, their timeliness was top-tier, yet very thorough. Katie and Skylar were incredibly welcoming on the floor as well - Katie even talked me into picking up a couple goodies for Rosebud from their fantastic selection. As a man who doesn't write reviews, I hope this will motivate at least one person to stop-in here - I will certainly be back (many times). I was completely blown away - fantastic job.

We were in Katy after a day at the dog park and decided Abby needed to get groomed, especially…read moresince she hasn't gotten professionally groomed in years. We scheduled a "walk-in" and they were able to accommodate us. We dropped Abby off and was told she would be finished in two hours (which happened to be 30 mins after their closing time). We appreciated that she was going to be taken very good care of due to her having a thick coat of hair. She had to be washed many times for all the excess hair to be removed. She also had her anal glands expressed, which probably relieved lots of pressure. We were charged $65 for a large, very dirty, and furry lab which we thought was reasonable. However, there isn't a set cost or a "menu" in the waiting area. Overall, she had her teeth cleaned, nails trimmed, body washed and brushed to where she doesn't shed if you grab her, and cologned. She was also given a cute bandana for free. The owner did an extreme thorough job and we couldn't be more pleased. We've had a possible experience and Abby did not appear distressed when we picked her up like the other reviews.
