Clean, the place didn't smell of urine. Quiet, there wasn't a ton of machines running and dogs barking. I believe this is because the place had lots of space and rooms to compartmentalize, rather than packed in one small room. Kind people, the lady was very nice and accommodating to my requests. Con: The actual haircut didn't look that great. The groomer listed when I pointed out some fixes and adjusted accordingly. However I could tell inherently, the cut wasn't that great. It was even and the wash was done well, but the actual aesthetics were not there. My shih tzu was done in a way that left her eyes looking very sunken in. The groomer called me 2 hours after my dog's appointment to tell me she needed to shave my baby down to the skin. When I gasped and asked exactly what that looks like (since I have never been told that from any other groomer and my dog has been more matted in the past), she said, "I will shave her down like I shave her butthole." She then proceeded to tell me that she would do her best to not have to use a surgical blade. I told her this was very concerning especially since I have had her groomed many times and have never heard this type of language. She went on to tell me she has been grooming for 20 years and has groomed under two master groomers. I told her that I would trust her knowledge to do what is best for my dog and then I would determine that trust for the future when I picked her up. She then said she was done and was not going to groom my dog because she was off the clock in 15 minutes. I am not sure how she thought she would groom a doodle in under an hour when she hadn't even bathed her yet. My dog sat there for 2 hours with no attention, so I believe the groomer had no intentions of grooming my pup and was looking for an excuse to get out of it. Well, that is at least what I want to believe. I took my baby to my usual groomer, and they got her looking beautiful with no mention of any matting and they did not have to shave her at all. I guess this expereince was a blessing in disguise.

Prince stays in one of their private suites with the webcam option, which I highly recommend. Being able to check in on him throughout his stay gives me so much peace of mind, especially when I'm traveling. The first time I boarded him, I noticed on the camera that he seemed to be spending most of his time in his suite. After I called to ask about it, the staff took the time to explain that they had intentionally kept him there because he was becoming anxious around the other dogs. Rather than forcing him into an environment where he was uncomfortable, they chose what they believed was best for his well-being. That thoughtful, individualized care meant a lot to me. Since then, Prince has developed a great relationship with the team. He genuinely seems to enjoy them and has never had a stressful or emotional drop-off, which says everything about how he's treated when I'm not there. If you're looking for a boarding facility that truly pays attention to your dog's personality, communicates openly, and treats your pet like family instead of just another reservation, I highly recommend them. I chose this…read moregrooming salon based on positive reviews and drove 30 minutes to get there -- unfortunately, it turned out to be a very upsetting visit. I specifically asked to keep the long hair on my dog's back, which we had been growing out for 6 months. But instead, they shaved it completely. Even worse, they left mats behind the ears, under the chin, and on the belly. When I kindly asked them to remove the mats, the receptionist responded loudly that it would "change the dog's haircut." Seriously? I believe removing mats should be standard grooming procedure -- and if there's an issue, the professional thing to do would be to call the owner or explain. Instead, they just left them and said it would "ruin the style." Meanwhile, the haircut was already nothing like what I requested. Now I have to take my pup to another groomer to fix what they ignored -- and even they were surprised mats were left behind. Sorry, but this is not how responsible pet care should be handled. I'm really disappointed.

I provided a reference photo, and while it wasn't exact, it was still very well done. Other pros: - reasonably priced. I paid almost $65 for my small dog. - very clean and not super loud. Some places, like the previous owners of this location, did not maintain the premises. It would be noisy and smelly, and the AC would be left off. I love what the new owners did with this place! My shih tzu often gets very nervous about going to the groomers but here, she was not shaking at all.
