BUYER BEWARE! We have patronized this establishment for over 12 years, until we found out how horrible & inhumane their boarding services were. During Thanksgiving weekend, we were out of town & received a text from the shop owner that our adult Afghan hound had defalcated in the crate & tried to cover it up by pushing it outta the way with her nose. Resulting in her nose to become pink & bleeding. Kristy was so unconcerned to text that we may need to take our dog to the vet. We reminded her that we were in New Orleans, and she asked if we could find someone to pick up our dog, & that she was out of the country in her country of origin, Costa Rica. My husband & I mulled over the situation & thought that Kristy was supposed to be licensed & bonded & should have the means to have our dog seen by a vet, since she was responsible for boarding her & taking care of her. Initially we were a bit shaken up, but realized that she lied about what really happened. After consulting a friend who also works with dogs, she verified from the pic Kristy texted us of the wound, and stated that it looked like a case of Crater Nose. This is caused by dogs being kept in a cradle excessively & they become stressed because she wasn't being tended to properly. She was crated, fed on the first day & allowed to defalcate, then kept in the crate the majority of time. Kristy claimed that our dog was stressed because we boarded her with them for 2 days, picked her up with no problems noticed. Three days later we boarded her with Kristy's & after 1 day with them, the problem occurred with our dog. We were baffled & hurt by the lies Kristy told, & how would she know what's really going on when she left her teen daughter to care for the dogs, while she parlayed out of the US. This is sheer animal cruelty, and if you boarded ur pet at Kristy's, please ask to see where your dog will be boarded. After speaking to the vet, he stated that our dog was more than likely crated in a crate that is not large enough for her. She stands at 3 1/2 ft tall & needs an XL crate to accommodate her safely. We have pics of the injury. Never going back there & I highly recommend you don't either. Our animals rely on its owners & caretakers to care for them appropriately. Shame on Kristy's for what they did to our dog. read more

Customer service was horrible and I work in pet care. Wait time was close to 5hrs!!!!!!! Then I paid an amount that was not given to me by the owner! I'm livid! Never coming back here. I do not care how good service was. I would write more but I've already wasted enough time. Your job is to work with all types of dogs. I work in the industry so do not make excuses. It does not take close to five hours do the job. I don't care how difficult the dog was. Robert took him to y'all before and it was no issue. Two times before to be exact. I am letting you know that the customer service was not good. Instead of asking a customer what happen you neglect and replace. It is no excuse, clean it up. How about you have better scheduling and not try to pack the house when you clearly don't have a lot of staff. Thank you for your speedy response. He has a new grooming facility I will take him to. Saw a negative review just hit your page, and I'm in awe. My wife and I own two small dogs, one of which (Dorothy) is 12 years old, frail, diabetic and blind. You're the only person I would trust with her, and while she's unable to speak for herself, I can. And as far as your storage issue, I deal with this on a daily basis at work. I guess some people think you can pull up months worth of footage at a whim. What's most comical is that I've had conversations with you about being "too much of a dog lover," as I've literally seen you breakdown bc of a homeless dog most would simply pass up on the way to somewhere else. Just remember that most, if not all who use you, know the real you. I appreciate all that you do for my fur-babies, today, tomorrow and always! read more

Highly recommend! Took my 2 year old Keeshond here for the first time to get a light trim/ deshedding / and basically everything else they offered. I was nervous to drop him off as I haven't ever left him before. They did a phenomenal job!! He looked SO GOOD he loved the groomer who took care of him. Had to get my dog groomed last min and kristy was able to get us in. I was very thankful she was able to take us but have never been charged tax from any other place other than hers for grooming. Bentley got a bath and brushed that turned out to be more than what I would have paid anywhere else. Service was good but price was a little higher than expected. read more

This was my first and only time I will go here. I had been attempting to contact the owner for several weeks, to no avail, concerning the poor grooming that was done. Each time, either she was on vacation for a week or not in. The day I got back home from Kristy's Salon with my pet, I was able to genuinely see the shoddy work that was done. His ears had noticeably uneven lengths of fur with lots of straggler ends. Inside the ears, one side had hair removed, other not. The entire rest of his body, especially his head, was not a smooth, even cut. Fluffs of hair throughout were different lengths. I finally made contact with the owner, and she would not work with me, whatsoever. I would definitely tell anyone to never step foot in this place. They helped when I first got puppy by offering tips outside of grooming.But when it comes to grooming they did that!!! Currently we live in Austin but am in Rosenberg today just to have Gus shampoo, cut & blow-dry - well worth the trip! If you have a fur baby, you must take him / her to Kristy! I am SO pleased with the service that my pup and I received today! Kristy and her staff are so friendly and take time explaining options, that you may not know that you have. We rescued a lab mix last year and he sheds so much! I didn't think that shaving him would be an option, but looking on her website, made all the difference in the world! I love pictures!! Very friendly and welcoming staff, absolutely love the idea of grooming the pups at the front and not behind the curtains which eliminates any possibility of mistreatment or injuries. I have a special need dog with back surgery, I was very nervous about leaving him at the groomer, Kristy and her team made me feel so comfortable and results were great. They only have early morning drop offs which is a little difficult for me due to work, family and traffic, but it has nothing to do with the salon services. read more

I have been taking my 3 dogs here. I have a poodle, cha-weenie, and a terrier, poodle mix. There are several reasons that I really like this place. 1. Kristy takes walk in's and you can also make appointments. It is wonderful that you do not have to wait for days for an appointment. 2. She makes my poodle look so cute. 3. My cha-weenie needs toe nail trims and she does this and files them. She can also gets a bath there and Kristy helps to get rid of the excess hair. 4. My terrier poodle mix can get very stinky and she gets him very clean and smelling good and she cuts hair where it can breath and stays cleaner. It is easy to get to. It is on Ave. I if you go by landmarks it is on the same street as Walmart. You go down the street towards Hwy 36 it is on the left side of the street. It is near a hair salon. I do not work for this establishment. I am a realtor and I love my dogs and I find this salon easy to get in and out and the prices are good. read more
