I signed up for classes and a retreat, fell on a financial setback, asked for a refund, they refused to let me leave and told me I needed to keep attending and they would only give a partial refund because in order to receive it I had to sign up for a 20 class pass. When I received my partial refund, Deahan pulled me into the office and told me now that I had received my refund I could afford to go to the very retreat I asked to be refunded on. I reiterated I was unable to afford the retreat, which is why I asked for the refund. Deahan tells me to sell ALL my stuff to attend the retreat. I told him no, I do not have anything to sell, he continuously repeated for 20 minutes that I needed to start selling my things to afford to go to Sedona. What a level of greed beyond comprehension! High pressure sales isn't the word. They verbally, mentally, and emotionally assault you if you do not allow them to control your mind and finances. This place is very good at using mind control methods t their advantage! This place is the epitome of greed and shines dark energy. If you are not careful, they will deceive you too!

My insurance covers me attending yoga through a program and this is my choice of studios. I've been doing yoga for over 15 years and this studio has all of the things I look for in a place to practice. The first class is free and they offer both hot, warm, and room temperature yoga. I've tried all of the above types of classes with a lot of different instructors. My favorite is Teresa because of her style, she lets you play in class practicing arm balances at a variety of levels. Her yin yoga class is to die for, I feel that my week is set once I've attending this longer well guided class. I have also attended workshops here and enjoyed each one I have gone to. They do have showers which is a huge plus! Towels, yoga mats, weights, straps, blocks, are all in the room and easy to access. Visit the studio and if you've never gone, I recommend a room-temp or yin class .

They are true to yoga practice and I feel like you don't only get the physical practice of yoga but also the mental engagement and some history and background. I am super interested in more than just the physicality of yoga but also the philosophy of it as a whole. Instructors often use the sanskrit words for poses in class (not only, but throw it in there more than I see at a lot of studios), they help guide you into deeper practice within poses and give you options. I love the studio. I feel like it isn't all about the modern view of hot yoga and feel a lot of yoga classes I go to these days are just about the workout or getting a wild cardio burn and have lost the meaning of yoga practice. There is definitely a time and place for all of that, but I love that that isn't the goal at this studio. She believes that massage doesn't need to be painful to be effective, she has an amazingly light and gentle touch. Massage can be combined with chiropractic adjustments for maximum benefit, along with medically prescribed massage. Essential Living oils are used to add aromatherapy to the massage at no additional charge. If Joann isn't available, Anthony Alden and Shannon Cooley are also available for massages and everyone has extensive knowledge of the many different types of massage, along with each specializing in certain massage methods. Their massage prices are very reasonable. Joann also provides semi-private and group classes in Kundalini Yoga during various evenings of the week.
