The class I went to was nice and seemed to be just what I wanted in terms of a gentle easing back into exercise after an injury. The problem was I got texts and phone calls from Master Dan at Body and Brain nearly every day of the two weeks I used my membership. There was a lot of pressure to take extra classes and go to workshops. All I wanted was a low key once a week tai chi class, but this felt like something else entirely. My insurance covers me attending yoga through a program and this is my choice of studios. I've been doing yoga for over 15 years and this studio has all of the things I look for in a place to practice. The first class is free and they offer both hot, warm, and room temperature yoga. I've tried all of the above types of classes with a lot of different instructors. My favorite is Teresa because of her style, she lets you play in class practicing arm balances at a variety of levels. Her yin yoga class is to die for, I feel that my week is set once I've attending this longer well guided class. I have also attended workshops here and enjoyed each one I have gone to. They do have showers which is a huge plus! Towels, yoga mats, weights, straps, blocks, are all in the room and easy to access. Visit the studio and if you've never gone, I recommend a room-temp or yin class .

She believes that massage doesn't need to be painful to be effective, she has an amazingly light and gentle touch. Massage can be combined with chiropractic adjustments for maximum benefit, along with medically prescribed massage. Essential Living oils are used to add aromatherapy to the massage at no additional charge. If Joann isn't available, Anthony Alden and Shannon Cooley are also available for massages and everyone has extensive knowledge of the many different types of massage, along with each specializing in certain massage methods. Their massage prices are very reasonable. Joann also provides semi-private and group classes in Kundalini Yoga during various evenings of the week.
