Dr. James came in for the exam and was equally as gentle. After his exam he let our toddler play with the office toys while he discussed findings and overall care education about toddler teeth. After we moved to Sienna, I tried taking them to a local pediatric dentist for convenience. That visit was a huge disappointment--they recommended multiple fillings and other procedures for my daughter that didn't seem right. I decided to drive the 30+ minutes back to this office, and I've never looked back. Dr. Harpavat is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and conservative in her approach. She never recommends unnecessary treatment and always takes the time to explain her recommendations. As a parent, that gives me tremendous peace of mind. Even more impressive, my kids actually love going to the dentist! I certainly don't remember feeling that way as a child, and I think that says a lot about the caring and welcoming environment she has created. As a microbiologist and scientist myself, I value evidence-based, ethical healthcare providers. I trust Dr. Harpavat completely with my children's dental care. I also can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lankford, who has been my dentist. Years ago, I suffered an injury that fractured my front tooth and damaged several lower teeth. Eventually, the root of the crowned front tooth became infected and could not be saved. Dr. Lankford guided me through every step of the process, referred me to an outstanding oral surgeon for my implant, and later restored it with a beautiful, high-quality crown. Throughout the entire experience, he was compassionate, supportive, and always available to answer my questions. The final result looks and feels amazing, and I couldn't be happier. His skill, honesty, and attention to detail are exceptional. Both Dr. Harpavat and Dr. Lankford are dentists I trust completely. They are knowledgeable, ethical, conservative in the best way, and genuinely care about their patients. Even though we now live in Sienna, it's absolutely worth the drive to continue seeing them. I recently had a crown pop off and went to another dentist out of travel convenience and it was a nightmare that Dr. Lankford had to fix. The other doctor was going to place a crown over an old filling and decays, but luckily their permanent crown broke upon seating and I was able to see Dr. Lankford for a second opinion. The nitrous was 1/3 of the cost of the other office I went to and my crown was extremely reasonably priced. I was comfortable the entire time and my coworker I referred here also relayed to me she's never felt so comfortable and at ease at a dentist. I will never see another dentist as long as I live in the Houston area.

When my daughter first went here she was not scared of dentists visits. Through the years every time we would go the dr would find something and give us a treatment plan that insurance would not fully cover. My daughter would always have cavaties and over time she got very afraid to go to the dentist. So then we would have to pay to have her be given laughing gas. The last time we went the dr said she again had cavaties, this time 3 or 4. My husband made a comment to me about how he didn't believe our daughter had cavaties and it just seems like they are trying to shake us down. So while on vacation we took our daughter to a dentist and guess what....they told us she didn't have any cavaties. So when we came back home I found another dentist and surprise they also said she didn't have any cavaties! Reading the other reviews it sounds like a common scam they are running telling parents their kids need all this work when they really don't. Pushing parents to put kids under to charge extra money. After spending a lot of money there feel scammed and would like a refund. Now my kid has silver teeth that she probably didn't need. Do not go to this dentist office if you love your children. All they did was traumatize my kid! And reading all the other similar reviews they are doing unnecessary work to over charge parents.

This place is not only AWESOME with kids play area and video games in the waiting room but they also have little private waiting areas for parents that are waiting for their child's procedure to be done. Ok to the most important part! The dentists here are ABOVE AND BEYOND! They have the patience and kindness for our little ones and they take their time to really explain exams, procedures, diagnosis and treatment plans. They are so thorough and pleasant. They sit you down and thoroughly explain to you what's going on with your child's teeth, what next steps needs to happen and what they can work on. My son has autism but he is high functioning but I did happen to mention it to them and they were great with understanding my son's specific needs and what to do to make him more comfortable for future visits which I greatly appreciated! I love the fact that they let the kids pick a toy at the end of their visits which puts the kids at ease and makes it a fun experience. I came in thinking I was now going to need an implant. Thanks to Dr.Pham and his expertise, that was not the case. I will just need a replacement crown. Since it's going to take a couple of weeks for me to receive my final crown, they made me a temporary tooth and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. Cecilia took her time fixing some details to make it look as natural as possible and to make it match with the rest of my teeth size and color wise. Although I can technically see my children (who are 3 and 4 years old at this time) for their dental needs, I have always preferred to have pediatric dentists to see my children for their dental needs as I know there are certain aspects of patient care which are different for adult patients vs pediatric patients (also my kids tend to listen better to other adults than me). From the scheduling of initial appointment to every aspect of our visits including recall reminders, I am truly impressed with Dr. Yang and her team's approach to providing the best care possible. Office is exceptionally well kept including a very cute lobby area to the super fun patient care areas and the well trained team provides exceptional services with friendliness. Dr. Yang's treatment recommendations were solid recommendations with conservative approach in mind and I am so happy to have found Dr. Yang's office for my children. If you are looking for a pediatric office for your children's needs, I would not hesitate to check out Evergreen Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Yang.
