Thanks so much for making time to do our Son's (13 year old ) 5 baby tooth extractions! It's crazy that they wouldn't come out on their own. He felt no pain at all and was very comfortable. We also had our 2 year old seen for an exam and teeth cleaning. Dr Briceno and staff are wonderful with children and the office has a very positive and modern kid friendly vibe. We discovered this office which was highly recommended by a moms group. We have already booked our follow up appointments. Also, their cash pricing is amazing! 1/3 the price of some other office visits (extractions). 100% service quality. Baby's check-up and cleaning was $99

The staff treat with my kids, who are not fans of the dentist, very well. We are pleased with their patience and kind attitudes.

Both my children have been going here since their first visits. They've never had a bad experience and friendly staff.

I don't think many people enjoy going to the dentist. I really hate it. I had a very traumatic…read moreexperince as a child at the dentist, and have absolutely dreaded going since that time. When I came to Southern Dental, I admittingly was past due for a check-up and cleaning. But, I didn't want to deal with being lectured about it by anyone BUT the dentist. I was expecting to be lectured by the dentist. However, Dr. Morales was awesome. She was kind and gentle and professional. However, the receptionist has been a real PITA every time I've been in the office. After my first check-up, she came into the room to explain the charges I would be responsible for the work that I needed, and proceeded to ask me how long it had been since I had been to the dentist. Lady, you are not in the position to pass judgement on me and I don't appreciate a receptionist talking down to me. My second bad experience came with the same receptionist the second time I came in for a filling. On my first visit, I was asked if I wanted to do a pre-cancer screening for a cost of $33. They said they would bill it to my insurance first, but if insurance didn't cover it, I would then be responsible for the cost. Ok, fine. But, bill my insurance first. So, as soon as I come in for my second visit, the receptionist tells me I owe them $33 for the screening. I asked if they had billed my insurance and she quickly cut me off and told me that insurance never pays it, so she hadn't submitted it and I just needed to pay it. I was pretty ticked at that point, but I held my tongue and paid the fee. Interestingly enough, I got the statement in the mail from my insurance a couple weeks later and the screening WAS covered by insurance - so now I have to request a refund from the dental office. I realize $33 isn't a large sum of money, but it just annoyed me the way they handled it. Everyone else in the office has been polite and professional, so I don't really want to give this place a bad review because of one person. However, I learned recently that Dr. Morales is leaving the practice. Since she is really the reason I keep coming here, I will most likely be going somewhere else. A lot of other reviewers commented on the wait time. I never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be taken to the back/seen by the dentist. However, it hasn't exactly been busy when I have had an appointment. I was surprised by the facility itself. Very dated and while the reception/waiting area looks ok, the back with the patient rooms looks really run down.

First visit I had to wait but they did take me in last minute so I can't complain. Plenty of free…read moreparking and a very convenient in/ out and location. The receptionist was pleasant and so were the doctors. My new toothe looks like the others matches beautifully. They did a great job! I'll be back. Thanks

my daughter came in for an exam in August. The dentist that saw her was Dr. Chen. We were told…read morethat my daughter needed a number of extractions as well as cavity fillings and needed to see their orthodontist sooner than later to get her wisdom teeth removed. The total bill was over $10,000. My daughter expressed discomfort with the dental office, we were recommended to another Dental office. To My surprise her visit with the Other Dentist went drastically different. We were told that there was staining on three of her teeth, which could be remedy by better brushing. There was no concern after x-rays were taken for her to have her wisdom teeth removed as soon as possible. And my daughter had not one cavity in her mouth. She walked out of that dental office with a perfect exam and very little instructions to go home with. While all dental offices are different. It is impossible to have a diagnosis that drastically different. I will be reporting this dental office to the state because it is clear that they are doing unnecessary procedures on clients for financial gain. Very unprofessional and predatorial. Majority of their clients are children in low income families. If you have dental coverage, please contact your provider and get a list of the Dental offices that accepts your insurance. And if you have state provided medical, you can also contact them and they will give you a list of dental offices that you can contact. This is disgusting and very scary. When walking in any dental or medical office you are supposed to be able to trust the provider. I will be reporting this dentist and the Office to the state. Please do not scar your children by taking them to this office where they will be treated like another check and experience unnecessary procedures.

Victoria and her staff completely dropped the ball. We serve as a guardian for a young woman and…read morehad made an appointment to get two cavities treated. We confirmed this and they agreed. When we showed up and I started to go back with our ward, I was told "we are just doing x-rays, we will call you back before her treatment." Without any communication, explanation, or clarification with our ward, she was given a teeth cleaning, and they did not address her cavities at all. She came out later and when I inquired about the cavities, I was told "we didn't do those today, they will be another time." We set this appointment months in advance, and now they did not address the cavities, and they expected me to take another day off work and for our ward to take a day away from high school. This was medical treatment without consent or communication and neither our ward nor I was asked to sign anything related to treatment. They want to push through cleanings because they are quick and easy, and they get great reimbursement rates with insurance. They completely ignored her medical needs and disregarded their responsibility. This was an ethical and professional failure and disregard.
