I would like to start by giving a special thank you to Dr. Charbel Saba for the incredible care, professionalism, and compassion he showed throughout Daniel's dental journey. When I first came to Echeverri Dental Center, I had many concerns. I had already seen three different dentists who did not feel comfortable performing Daniel's dental treatment under anesthesia in their own clinics and recommended that Daniel have the procedure done under general anesthesia in a hospital setting. That recommendation led me to Dr. Saba. From the very beginning, Dr. Saba made me feel confident and comfortable. He met with me twice before the procedure, took the time to answer all of my questions, explained everything, and gave me the reassurance I needed to know that Daniel was in the right hands. Daniel had his dental surgery at Texas Children's Hospital on May 13th, and everything went successfully. Before the surgery, during the procedure, and throughout his recovery, Dr. Saba continued to provide support, reassurance, and excellent care. As a mother, the most important thing is knowing your child is safe, and Dr. Saba truly gave me that peace of mind. I also want to give a special thank you to Alicia for all the amazing work she did behind the scenes coordinating everything with Texas Children's Hospital and making sure the entire process went smoothly. I cannot emphasize how strongly I advise against seeking dental care at Echeveri Dental.  My husband went in to get a chipped tooth fixed and ended up with a botched root can and swollen face.   Complications: My husband had to deal with a painful infection with swelling, all due to the incompetence displayed by the attending dentist who advised him that this sort of 'swelling' was normal.  It was not! Misleading Consultation: Despite my husbands limited English proficiency, he was coerced by the dentist that he needed a root canal, presenting it as a 'normal and simple" procedure.  Poor Execution: The dentist failed to properly perform the root canal, leaving metal remnants in my husband's gums which led to serious complications.  Financial Burden: Correcting this mistake has already cost us $3000 to have the root canal retreated by a competent medical professional, and the medical ordeal is far from over read more

I have been going to this clinic since I was 6 years old. I am now 23. This should tell you a lot about how exceptional the entire staff is. The pediatric dentist, Dr. Elsa, is so very patient with all the children who come to her for treatment- which by the way I was a very tough child who came in crying and screaming. She was and is still such a caring and considerate dentist and human. She is smart and can be trusted. Dr. Juan is my current ortho/dentist there. He has really helped me fix my entire mouth. I mean my teeth were really messed up and he changed the structure to look so straight and nice. He's so funny and caring. I'm so glad I'm in such good hands (not once do I doubt his judgment). I brought my son to this dentist based on referral and the great reviews here. My sons initial consultation was on 9/19/18 for dental surgery and I unfortunately forgot my sons insurance cards and submitted them on 10/10/18. I received a call on 10/18/18 asking for our insurance information once again and I forwarded them the initial email. I called today on 11/02 to get an update for the appointment date and "Alicia" informed me that she submitted our insurance to the wrong location and she had to resubmit again to the correct one which can take up to 14 days from the date she submitted it on 10/30. Now we have to wait another two weeks just to confirm if we're getting an appointment for oral surgery or not. She came off very rude and was constantly making excuses. This is important to us as I have to make arrangements with time off work and school for my son. I wish the office was just as great as the dentist. read more

I'm a Public Health Practitioner and I've learned about fraudulent billing and over-billing committed by providers. So I always check to make sure I'm not over-billed and that the claim submitted to the insurance matches what the dental office presents to me. Unfortunately, many people don't know about this or aware but I urge you to check the claims paid by your insurance to this Dental office and how much you paid Dental office. Unfortunately, this Dental office took (more like stole) about $300 from me. At the time of my dental procedure, they told me my insurance would only cover about $100 of my $500 procedure. They also told me I had to pay upfront the $400. So I went ahead and paid that amount. A few weeks later I get a detailed explanation from my dental health plan about the claim. I find out, that my insurance paid my dental provider around $400 for the procedure and the dental office accepted that payment after I had already paid them. The dental office could've refused the payment from the insurance and allowed me to get reimbursed by my insurance but no they take that money too. So please I urge that you double check what you paid and what your insurance paid them because this is unfair and fraudulent business. What is even more disappointing is that before discovering this sham at my follow up for this procedure, the billing personnel mentioned none of this or let me know that I was over-billed. So please be aware and make sure they are not overcharging you. read more

There are no words for how much I love Echeverri Dental. I was coming off a really horrifying dental experience (a doctor told me I had 7 cavities, went to fill them, left me in a room so long by myself that when he got to me I wasn't numb anymore. In retrospect, I'm pretty sure I didn't have 7 cavities to begin with.) I was terrified of the dentist after that. Then someone recommended Dr. Echeverri. Dr. Echeverri was kind and took time to explain things. He took my comfort into consideration- when he has to do work, he gives me laughing gas and it's palatable instead of terrifying. I love my hygienist, and both she and the dentist always remember little details and ask me about my life when I go in. It's a really friendly atmosphere. It's also incredibly clean and I know they stay up to date in the latest research on how to treat patients. If there were any question about my commitment to them - I actually pay for the higher tier dental plan at work so I can keep going there. I'd rather pay more in insurance than go anywhere else. read more

Since I was little all the doctors were so nice and sweet I remember they always made laugh and took precaution to make comfortable for me not to be afraid of anything. i was recommended to him. so i went. a little scheptical at first beause the neighborhood seemed no so great, but once inside, it was a different story. it was very clean and the staff was so pleasant, esp the dental assistant mayra who was with me the whole time. i went to this doctor bc the last place i went to told me i had 5 cavaties and i was very scheptical! so dr echeverri did new xrays. he showed me my xrays on a big screen and let me know i had no cavaties! he was very nice and very personable and you can tell he really cares about his patients and is not there just to make money. i would highly recommend him and i plan to tell everyone i know about him that tells me they are looking for a dentist. he is doing my friends braces too, and she really likes hiim. its a very kid friendly place too. check him out if you are looking for someone new, and yes the neighbor hood is not the nicest but he is a good dentist! and his staff is awsome! even the lady who checked me out was very sweet! front desk greeter is not so cherpy, but she was not rude either, just the type that is "doing her job". but yes i recommend it ...1 million stars read more
