I have been to this facility 2 times in the past 2 months. I can honestly say I had the best experience both times. Every single person smiled and or said good morning. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The lovely lady working the front desk that checked me in is wonderful. I can tell she enjoys where she works. The technician that performed my ultrasound was so gentle and has great bedside manner. I hope I don't have to go back but I wouldn't mind if I did. I know I'll be taken care of. read more

Such a disparity of ratings here. Seems the divide falls between Er devices and pre ordered medical testing with a glowing review for the latter. I can only address ordered services, I had an mri ordered and the experience was wonderful. I was greeted immediate upon walking in. Ashlee was my super MRI tech. She did much to rein in my claustrophobic issues, giving me strategies and letting me know the minutes remaining. read more

Upon check-in, we were told 2 people were ahead of us (ok no problem) also figured there is one doc seeing patients and getting them out as they come in. We were called and put in room. Took my 1 year grandson here for emergency care after incident caused bleeding profusely. Nurse cleaned wound so doctor could examine. We waited 2 hours and still did not see the doctor. I brought my 6 year old daughter here after a elbow to the face down a water slide. She had an eyebrow wide open. Blood everywhere. I have to say the doctor did an amazing job stitching her up. He made sure that it was done well enough where the scar would form right above her eyebrow. Everyone in this facility was kind and helpful. God forbid I have to visit an ER in the near future but if so I will definitely return here. read more

I have never felt so disrespected as a patient in my entire life. The nurse Tiffany was extremely rude condescending and judge mental. She had an attitude right from the start. I want someone who is in management here to call me as soon as possible because I know that memorial Hermann demands a higher standard of care than how I was treated today. I came here for an ultrasound ordered by my doctor, didn't think it would be much of a visit. Sit around for an hour, get sent to a dark room with a monosyllabic tech, go home. Instead I was greeted with a smile by Kassandra, who got me started on my paperwork with a brief explanation and everything I needed. Carina walked me through my paperwork professionally and efficiently. Kathy, my imaging tech, talked me through the initial process and kept me calm and comfortable throughout the ultrasound. Just to be seen- $3,000 I had two x-rays done that I didn't even see a copy of, $1,000. the primary care office is terrible and will not call you back no matter how urgent. my daughters arm had an infection that I took her to the ER for and needed to schedule an urgent follow up. that was Monday and today is now Friday. I ended up taking my daughter back to the ER because it had gotten worse even with the antibiotics. this office just does not care. I'll be looking for a new primary care office that will actually care for my daughter. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. Such a huge waste of time and gas. They rescheduled my Mom's mammogram three times and they scheduled the wrong type of mammogram. I don't understand why this wasn't corrected when we gave them our doctor's referral not once but twice to look at. The two previous times times the doctor's mammogram order was specifically on the paper, why didn't front desk double check it. The second time we came in, front desk claimed a voicemail was left about rescheduling the mammogram, but that was a lie because no one left a voicemail. The third time, I even called the day before to ask to specifically ask if there will be a tech available and if everything was correct and was told yes. We chose this location because it's close to us, but I recommend scheduling at a different Memorial Herman location. We're on a fourth mammogram reschedule and that's ridiculous, everything should've been done in January. read more

I went to the ER with chest pain and an elevated heart rate. They did all of the normal tests, including a drug screen they didn't tell me they were doing...I would have agreed to it. I just noticed in my medical records that they did a drug screen on me and it tested pos for Cannabis. I was never questioned about it and only found it when I went to the patient portal to find they diagnosed me with Chronic Cannabis use!!! WTH?! I take CBD, I do not use marijuana and now this is part of my medical record and they didn't bother to ask. I am NOT happy and while I thought everyone was great at the time, I don't see myself going back. read more

Do Not Come Here for an ER visit late at night. These are the laziest assholes ever...except for Nurse Rex and Radiologist Shasta. Dr Bier is an ass that forgot what bedside manner means....I know what the hell Emergency medicine means. My issue is an emergency, just cause I don't need no damn surgery don't mean a thing. The other female nurse is clueless as they come. I had to repeat myself too many times. The front desk lady doesn't pay attention, I annotated that I didn't wanted anything printed....who come bouncing her ass in my room with a copy of my papers. I didn't ask you to kill trees on my behalf. But Dr Bier, this joker here must not like the night shift if not....find a new damn job! read more

My husband went in for kidney stones, was there for 2 hours and gets a $15,000 + bill!! They charged him for 3 IVs when he only had 1 IV, but was pricked 3 times. The person who tried to put in his IV stuck him 3 times and blood literally sprayed all over the place. He had swelling, pain and bruising for days afterwards. I wasn't going to leave a review about that, but being that have zero interest in helping people out, I feel it's only right to share our experience. read more

I wouldn't bring my sick hamster to this place. It was the WORST ER experience I've ever had. The Doctor was amazing, but the nurse was by far the WORST nurse I've ever had to deal with. Doctor ordered meds and she was refusing to give them. She had an attitude the minute she came into my room. I tried making the best of it, making small talk as my sister is a nurse and she wanted none of it. She said she's been a nurse for 20 years. Maybe it's time for her to retire if that's how she treats patients. Her name was Mandy, she refused to give me anymore information than that. I asked how I would go about filing a complaint with the nursing board with only her first name? She had no answer. No other nurse would give me information to file a complaint, either. I had a CT done, it was the worst read I've ever had on a CT. The only good thing about this place was the Doctor, but that doesn't matter when the nurse refuses to give the meds he ordered. How is that even possible? That nurse should be fired. read more

Took my daughter when she was ill. Everyone was nice enough, but my big problem is with a lack of follow up. They treated a toddler for a UTI based on a urine sample, but didn't give us a wipe to use. So everyone I showed the results to afterwards said it was only slightly dirty, most likely from not being clean catch. The thing is they prescribed antibiotics for this nonexistent UTI, and after a few days I started to worry that she wasn't getting any better. I kept trying to tell myself that antibiotics take time, but I called about the culture results after 2.5 days, and left a message. The NEXT day a doctor calls me and basically tells me "I heard you wanted to know about the cultures? Yeah, it's all good, they were negative." But no, that's not good, because now she's been on the wrong antibiotics for almost 4 days and still has high fevers and no diagnosis. When were finally able to get into the Pediatrician's officr, they said that they couldn't believe that we weren't swabbed for flu/rsv/strep from the start, being November and all. She ended up just having strep throat. My biggest annoyance is that they should have called me as soon as they had that Neg. culture result. read more

Don't come here. You'll get subpar care from doctors with terrible bedside manner and you'll get bills for services that are quadruple what other facilities in the area charge. I have great insurance, but I was still billed $2k for a 2 hour visit where I was given 1 shot, stuck 5 times to draw blood, and given an ultrasound. You'll get billed for the doctor on the Memorial Hermann bill and an individual bill from the doctor too. The same goes for any labs that are done. Memorial Hermann will bill you and you'll get a second bill from the labs themselves. This place is a joke and they just want your money. read more

I visited this hospital back in July due to Covid related symptoms and have been fighting an outrageous medical bill due to the physician Mr. Serafin Farias who coded the visit incorrectly. I have spoke to just about every department at this location, as well as many other billing departments within the Memorial Hermann network, and have had absolutely no luck resolving the issue. I stayed on the phone for SEVERAL hours today to speak to someone in regards to having the bill code changed to "Covid-related" and not one person could tell me the correct number to call or the right actions to take. This hospital and their physicians have no sympathy or human decency to do the right thing during a trying time such as the ones we are living in today. Mr. Farias, if you read this, I hope you know that as a young woman starting out in the world I am having to pay over 2K in medical bills for a visit that could have very easily been coded as Covid related. I hope you, as well as the staff at Memorial Hermann will take serious strides to improve your system and actually help your patients. If I could give 0 stars, I would. read more

This is geared towards the Emergency Room and potential policy. My wife and I went there just to have her blood pressure checked manually as her machine was giving some higher readings and having been told by a Dr. that the home machines are not reliable we just wanted it checked. They wanted to admit her just to take her blood pressure. Her insurance is a 30% co-insurance and not willing to just come check it real quick to just confirm whether it was high or not they claim policy and liability. Not sure how taking a quick reading and if Normal is a liability and if high then I gladly pay the fee to have her admitted. I have had urgent cares tell us just to come in and they would check for free, but as it is midnight none are open. If that truly is policy then Memorial Hermann is not the place to go as it is all about the money and not about helping. I get that you have to make money and that it is a business, but come on it's just 5 min or less to tell us high or low. That's just ridiculous. read more

I recently had a CT Scan at Memorial Hermann Convenient Care Center in Spring, and I received excellent service! I showed up for my appointment and waited no more than 5-10 minutes before being called to registration to be checked in. After that, the employee walked me to the private women's dressing/waiting room, explained how I needed to change and how to lock up my personal belongings, and to have a seat & wait for my radiologist to come get me. Again, not 5-10 minutes after I was changed and settled in a chair did a nice lady named Wendy popped her head in to collect me for my tests. Wendy was SO nice, and she knew what she was doing - especially when it came to putting in an IV, painless!! She did her thing with the CT scan, and I was in and out in no time! I will DEFINITELY go there again next time I need testing! Oh! And I needed to pick up the disk & report, I just had to show them my ID and complete a form. By the time I'd finished the form, everything was ready & waiting for me. No muss no fuss!! read more
