Next to the Memorial City Mall, and if you hate this place, it's the Memorial Sh**ty Mall. If you feel sorry for the people here, it's the Memorial Pity Mall. If you think it's too small (it's not), it's the Memorial Itty Bitty Mall. If you think there's a lot of drug stuff going on in here, it's the Memorial Gritty Mall. And if you think the girls show way too much skin in here, especially up top, then it's the Memorial Titty Mall. Which is basically what happens when Barbi walks in here with me. Our bad. Absolutely spectacular set of buildings, glowing blue and white and silver in the night. One of the true glorious architectural wonders of the Houston area. Three stars for the hospital itself but 5 stars for the beautiful structure, and many of the reputable and admirable clinics and services located within. We've dealt with probably 70 different offices among the hundreds that are located here, and are happy to say we have friends in many of them. Very impressive indeed. I didn't make it past registration. As I left my house for my scheduled 7am imaging appointment I received a call from MHIS telling me I was suppose to be there at 6:30am to register. Really? No one told me. A voice oozing condensation replied "You're suppose to be on the table at 7, we'll see if the technician can fit you in, we'll need to move your appointment". Since I live w/in a couple shakes to the MCMHH complex I rushed over, parked & hoofed it to the check-in counter. There was a patient getting checked in so I stood the required distance & the lady behind the counter told me to stand on the rectangle sticker that was in front of me & slightly to the left. OK, I thought we have someone with a control issue. A short wait & it was my turn. I was given some paperwork & was told that they "would have to call to see if the technician can see you". Whilst filling out the 1 page questionnaire, I noticed another person chatting up the lady that was suppose to call the technician. I noticed she did not make a call & figured she was taking her time. I gave her my paperwork & was a bit surprised when she said the tech would "fit me in between appointments". Huh, how do you know? Unless this was standard protocol for when someone was late. So no phone call but pretending you were doing me a favor. Got it. I was directed to registration & made my way to another desk & sat down. A few clicks & I was told "Your payment will be $XXX". No one told me that. No one called me to tell me to show up a half hour before my appointment. No on called to tell me what to do or not to do before my appointment (could I have coffee or water, eat??). I was told "we left you a message". Like that explains everything. I don't recall getting a voicemail. So I stood up & started walking away. The last thing I heard was "You can pay half today" as I walked out the door. No thanks to this poorly run imaging center. No thanks to the veiled rudeness as they try to come across all helpful & whatnot. No thanks. read more

As lovely as this office is, I'm glad I only have to see it once a year. The office is very spa like. The main waiting room is comfortable and serene with a kerig. Many beverage selections as well as water and snacks for your wait. Check in process is pretty quick and the staff is super nice. The exam waiting area is same except it has generous changing closets and warm robes to lounge in while you wait to be called. Unfortunately they do not provide robes for larger women, size 24+. Yeah we do need to lose but excluding us from the same pleasantries offered to clients of a smaller size isn't very encouraging. How hard would it be to order robes for those of us with a little (or lot) extra? Anyway, once you're escorted to the imaging room, your ta-tas are carefully placed in the machine by gloved radiologists. Then the damn thing squishes it like a fat kid on a balloon. Blah! All in all, good visit. With his blessing, I won't see it for another year! read more

Long wait times... I have had three mammograms and a breast ultrasound at the Katy imaging office. The staff are very kind, and the waiting area is clean and pleasant. Today's appointment was just like my previous ones: I waited for 1.5 hours to get the procedure. The office is in the same building as my gynecologist, and it's convenient to schedule my annual mammogram there on my way out after a well woman visit. But there are many other imaging services, and it's likely that the majority of them provide at least nominally better service. read more

This my kid's first MRI, they don't give the kids anything to help them thru the process, the parent can't be in the MRI room, it took longer than they said, and no music during MRI. Some imaging places offer music because it is so loud but not Memorial Herman. They need to have an imitating place that accommodates kids. My kid is 13 and scared out of her mind. We went to another imaging place for my 16 year old and they had music and I could be in the room. Memorial Herman is not accommodating for kids. read more

Every time my provider sends over an order for ultrasound to confirm dvt clots. They have successful order request in doctors office but it's not being received on their end. I guess life threatening issues they don't care about with the imaging. This has been ongoing the last two visits so just imagine added stress to someone pregnant. No one seems to care until it's happening to them. Everyone is out for self and that's pathetic. If I could give negative stars I would. Memorial Herman is going downhill then want to have the nerve to expect payment for piss poor services. I pray these incompetent idiots don't have to go through what they can careless about or their families. Do better otherwise don't expect folks with insurance or without to pay. read more

Be prepared to wait over 2 hours for a simple x-ray of the ankle at the 6700 West Loop location. We were told when we arrived that there were 2 people ahead of us. So sad that the customer's time is not important to the staff. We would have gladly ran errands and come back had we known the wait would be so long. read more

Totally incompetent staff, 6 days after my doctor puts in MRI orders with them and they haven't even submitted it my insurance company, I'm losing the ability to use my legs & walk and finding the cause of it is severely delayed because they are lazy & incompetent, I have people & pets to take care of and cant go to the ER and these heartless peoole could care less read more

I went for my yearly mammogram this month. When I walked into the waiting area all the staff was at the front desk being very unprofessional. I certainly realize it's the end of the day however you should always remain professional no matter what time of day it is.First the receptionist stated I needed to have a doctor's order in order to get a mammogram which I knew that wasn't the case since I have yearly exams. After a brief conversation with the RT she determined that I wasn't going to be able to perform my yearly mammogram because I stated I had a ump which wasn't true. I've never experienced anything like it in healthcare before. read more

SO, I want to update my review by sharing something that has happened to me after my initial visit. Also, this is for the breast clinic, so I hope I am reviewing the correct office. My personal Dr. was extremely cloak and dagger with my mammogram results, and merely told me she had "found something", and that I needed to make a diagnostic appointment at MD Anderson Breast Center in Memorial Hermann again. I went back to get more work done, which meant that it began with an ultrasound. It was obvious that I was not in a good spot and the lady who took me to her desk for my final part of the check in was kind, thoughtful, and seriously helped me through one of the worst days I have had in a long time. She checked me in and showed me my robe, then took me aside and gave me a big, sincere hug. She also explained that I would have answers, that day, which immediately put me at ease. Once in radiology, my radiologist talked me through the process and showed me what I needed to know for any other time that I have to return (yearly) for my mammogram. She explained what all of the images were on the screen during my mammogram. When the Dr. came in, I sense the radiologist explained to her my apprehension coupled with anxiety, and made a joke: "since it is your first time, we're very curious and we all want to look and see what is going on in there". Then, they told me there was nothing wrong, which was fantastic. When I was leaving, I gave the receptionist the thumbs up, and she came out and gave me another big hug. It was fantastic and exactly what I needed. The people who are working in this office not only care about their jobs, and what they are doing as professionals, but they care about their patients. They are making bonds with their patients and I will never go to another place for my well-woman imagining needs. read more

Our doctor referred us to Memorial Hermann Imaging. We chose 2900 Richmond for convenience. Were told that physician didn't complete correct diagnosis. They tried to call the physician - office out to lunch; come back at 1:30. We did. We were then told the imaging guy had to leave so they didn't have time to call and do the imaging. They were very rude. Terrible service. If the imaging guy had to leave at 1:30, why were we instructed to come back at 1:30. Bill is disabled and very unstable so taking care of these things is always an ordeal. Now it is an ordeal we will have to repeat. read more

Love this place! I won't trust any other provider for my imaging needs. The staff is typically friendly and prompt. If there is something causing a delay, they have always been open with the communication of the issue. The technicians are attentive and friendly. read more

My Oncology Doctor gave me orders to go to Memorial Herman Imaging to get a Nuclear Bone Scan. I went directly to the Imaging office and was told that I would need to call because I could not make an appointment there. Seems like someone would be capable of making an appointment for me there, but not, I guess I understand. When I called I was informed that the only place that could do it in a timely manner was about an hour drive, even though they have over 30 locations in Houston. It showed a complete disrespect for my time, I had to rework my schedule. I arrived an hour ahead of time because I was requested to, only to be informed that they could not do the procedure at that facility. So, again I could not make an appointment there, I had to once again call, which I did and was again rescheduled to the office I originally went in. Arrived 7 AM, ahead of time, and, unbelievable, again informed they do not do the procedure there. I must again call for an appointment, the big problem was this was a cancer screening, my Doctor need them immediate and my deduction had been met for the year and after running me around for a week I was out of time, it was the last day of the year. Most of the people I dealt with were not helpful or sympathetic. I will try to go somewhere else next year for sure. read more

My doctor gave me the orders for the MRI so I stopped by to make an appointment. I was able to get an appointment made at the time but there was about a 15 minute wait due to the lack of a well defined process at the front desk. This was okay. The problem started when I arrived for my appointment and the lack of organized process really shone through. I arrived at the given time which is 45 minutes prior to the procedure and I'll just say now that I've had a lot of MRIs and some CT scans in my life and no other facility requires this much advance time to get themselves organized. Then they told me that while 3 MRIs had been ordered for me that day they only scheduled one. They tried to shift the blame to the doctor but I had the order in hand and could clearly see that it was an MRI for 3 areas. Now whether the doctor knew they would count that as 3 MRIs is another story, but sometime between when I brought them the order and the day of the appointment which was about 9 days later, it seems that someone should have called to get this straight. I had to rework a number of plans to be seen so them saying I could come the next day or 2 shows a complete disrespect for my time. I was distraught by the whole thing because it was critical that I have the MRIs now that my other test results were in and what they showed. They then tried to blame it on the offsite "scheduling dept" which is just another way of saying "we are just so bureaucratic that you should be happy we have an appointment for you at all." This was an obvious lie since I made the appointment at their front desk - no offsite "scheduling dept." Anyway, I would think twice before scheduling here unless you have nothing better to do and are in reasonably good health. Also, they allowed 2 screaming young children to come running through the back waiting area for imaging while I was there. Very unprofessional. I recommend going anywhere else! read more
