I could not be more disappointed with the care this hospital provided my elderly father…read more I would not take anyone to the hospital under any circumstances! He arrived via ambulance and had emergency surgery. He stayed for a week and CLEARLY was struggling. He could not manage meds, feeding himself, walking, and his O2 was 90. We begged for consideration of rehab or SNF. They denied and dumped him out with little notice. Prior, he was fully independent and living alone. He was back in the ER within 72 hours. They drained fluid from his lungs. He again was struggling and we begged for rehab or SNF. All the doctors we spoke with agreed that he needs release to rehab/snf. He again was dumped on the final day with little notice. Fast forward 10 days and he has had a stroke. We are now at Houston Methodist Willowbrook. The level of care is night and day better. HCA Tomball is responsible. They may have cut short my father's life by 3-5 years.

Instead of receiving the care and compassion I expected, I was met with rudeness and insensitivity from the triage and discharge nurses. Their behavior was not only unprofessional but utterly out of line. I was dismissed without the support I needed, and to my shock, I was brought to my attention that I was actually being kicked out of the hospital building by some MF'ing retarded a$$ cranky, insecure, arrogant rude asf b!tch receptionist/triage/nurse lady mind you, this was six years ago! It was clear that my mental health concerns were not taken seriously, leaving me feeling more isolated and desperate than before. I am now I'm planning and thinking about pursuing legal action against this branch because no one should have to endure such treatment, especially when seeking help for severe mental health issues. I urge anyone considering HCA Tomball to think twice. It's disheartening to know that a facility meant to provide care can be so uncaring. They need to shut down this facility prompto! Please take your health--both physical and mental--seriously and seek help elsewhere.

I have to give a shout out to nurse, Ashley, and Dr Ramos. They kept me informed of every step happening with my dad even the things I didn't want to hear or take in. I appreciate them so much and their understanding. My dad passed away, but he was in good hands and he's no longer suffering. At the end, I did kind of lash out with emotions due to our relationship and situation, but in the end, they made sure my dad was comfortable when he went home where he wanted to be. I also have to shout out Nurse, Helen, who also updated me. I think all of you guys so much. Please understand the hurt and pain that I am going through. It's not easy, especially when everything is thrown at you at once to handle everything. I just couldn't do it. I had to pass it along, but they understood. So thank you and you guys really and truly love what you do and are there for your patients May God bless you.

By May 18, his doctors found his shunt was blocked and a new one was inserted. Instead of sending him back to his doctor in Houston to perform the procedure, they kept him there to "practice" on him. By June 13, 2023, doctors removed the second shunt. After this procedure, he wound up with sepsis. - a clean hospital? They were administering many drugs during his hospitalization, too many for his system. His condition went from recovering to nearly dying of sepsis. Doctors did an MRI and found a blocked ventricle in his brain, then he began running a fever after a stomach feeding tube was inserted. His wife wanted to remove him from this hospital to get proper care elsewhere, but the hospital would not permit this. Instead, they continued their malpractice and incompetence. What ever happened to DO NO HARM, beneficence, the Hippocratic Oath??? Everything they did to him went from bad to worse. The nursing staff neglected to move him often enough so he got bedsores. He was in pain! Then he went into a coma. He suffered too much in their negligent care. He passed on August 4, 2023 in their care, days before his 72nd birthday.

On a Sunday, I accidentally sliced the cornea of my eye and it was incredibly painful. I couldn't keep it open. Once we arrived, we got checked in immediately and waited about 5 minutes. A nurse came out and showed us to the exam room, took my vitals, and maybe 5-10 minutes later Dr. Saint-Jean came in. She gave me a thorough exam including administering special drops that would "illuminate" the extent of the injury, determined it only needed an antibiotic ointment, gave me a prescription and sent me on my way. Everything from check in to check out was seamless and professional. The facility was clean, organized, and well run by all involved. I hope to not need their services in the future, but if I do, they will be my first choice.

I contacted CEO got a letter stating they would look into that's been 2 months ago! I pay for quality services and to be treated like my mental and physical health is irrelevant She act as if she's doing me a favor. I am still very upset about it and I will continue to follow up, if necessary, I will contact the state board. What is going on in this world doctors are acting as if they're doing a patient a favor . Every month I pay way too much for healthcare insurance . , I feel like I should be treated With quality care and understanding! Yes I'm still pissed

My toddler wondered what was wrong with her after she noticed that she was not kind; it was very obvious. After waiting over 40 minutes for the doctor, I decided to leave- but the doctor was about to come into our exam room. While she was the only one to apologize, the other staff did not acknowledge the delay when I walked out into the hall to inquire during the wait. It was like they didn't care about us, and there was absolutely no respect for my time. After the doctor finished, we had to wait another 15 minutes for the shots my toddler needed. A person without any ID or tag came in with another person whom she said was "shadowing" her. When I asked her who she was because she was not dressed as a staff person (sloppy gray t-shirt) and had no ID, she said she was an MA. Meanwhile, all if the nurses were saying goodbye for the day (it was now 4:50pm). My toddler became unsettle with these new people and was uncomfortable getting her shots. The doctor and staff know that my toddler is uneasy about shots but didn't care. So after all of that, we left. This was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We were mishandled and treated poorly. I do not recommend this location. Texas Children's Hospital system should do better. And get rid of the unfriendly, scary nurse!!!!
