Hate leaving bad reviews, but disappointed. They gave me an arm sling (which I thought was free from the looks of it), and failed to let me know it was $269. I am posting a picture of it. I did not even end up using it, I actually purchased a better one on Amazon for less than $15. I was shocked when I saw my bill. Tried three times to get through billing services, to which they said "too bad". Please let your patients know if something you give them is costly. With insurance coverage, I'm still left $160. Dr. Patel did not even ask me, he gave it to me. I've had Memorial Care clinics give me knee braces, support, etc. and never charge me. Guess it is a lesson learned. I had an incredibly positive experience at MemorialCare Urgent Care - Cypress, and I genuinely cannot say enough good things about the entire staff. A special thank you to Ms. Brito at the front desk, as well as all of the other front desk staff, the nursing team, and Dr. Thompson. Every single person I interacted with was kind, patient, professional, and genuinely caring. You guys are amazing! I'm not sure if MemorialCare has Daisy Awards or other recognition programs for outstanding staff, but if you do, this team deserves every award available. I have never had a better experience at a hospital, urgent care, clinic, or medical facility. Before coming here, I had called multiple other facilities and visited Labcorp, and unfortunately had some extremely frustrating and discouraging experiences. I've been there a couple times and my care was professional and appropriate. Sunce they are connected to MemorialCare, they have access to my records/medications. X-Ray is available, but wish they would get a bedside Ultrasound machine (as long as someone there can read it). It would be helpful fir some disgnoses, like appendicitis, gallbladder, etc. that crays won't really show. read more

I've debated leaving this review for some time, but after watching my 11-year-old son continue to struggle with this condition and now requiring visits to a neurologist, I feel it's important to speak up about our experience with Dr. Patel at this urgent care. When my wife first brought our son in showing clear signs of Bell's Palsy, Dr. Patel completely disregarded her concerns. Instead of listening, he told her she was "seeing things" and even took our son's face in his hands to "straighten it out," saying, "Look mom, see? He's fine." This approach was not only dismissive but condescending and completely unprofessional. Still deeply concerned, my wife took our son to an optometrist later that same day, who immediately recognized the symptoms and urged us to return for further evaluation. The very next day, a different doctor at the same urgent care confirmed the Bell's Palsy diagnosis. This delay in treatment -- caused entirely by Dr. Patel's unwillingness to take my wife's concerns seriously -- has prolonged my son's recovery and added unnecessary stress and worry for our family. What was needed was simple: to listen to a parent who knows her child. Dr. Patel's failure to do so is unacceptable and deeply disappointing for someone entrusted with patient care. He should be ashamed of how he handled this situation. I hope sharing our experience helps prevent this from happening to another family. read more

I showed up for my appointment 20 minutes late because I live on a culdesac i and there were 5 trucks parked in the middle of my street so I wasn't able to get out of my driveway! It took them about 7 minutes to move the trucks out of the way so I could leave to go to my doctors appointment with Trucvy H Le, MD today! I arrived 20 minutes late and she had already canceled my appointment! I wasn't able informed today that if you are 15 minutes late she cancels the appointment! This is the first time I've heard of this policy! But, 6 weeks ago she canceled my appointment because she was going to be out of town and I wasn't called or given another appointment. I had to call the office to make another appointment even though she canceled on me! She has on several occasions kept me waiting for an hour for an appointment that I arrived on time for! I haven't seen her since June 9th and she told me then I needed to make an appointment every 2 months. It's been 4 months because she canceled my last 2 appointments! Hi there! I highly recommend this clinic! I went in yesterday for my ongoing illness. The staff were very nice and professional I only waited a few minutes after filling out the forms. The doctor came in, she thoroughly checked my heart, lungs, throat and both ears. She made the correct diagnosis of my illness She said that I have a throat infection that has spread to my upper lungs and left ear They also did an ex ray of my lungs The infection had affected my lungs causing my persistent cough The infection was also in my inner left ear causing soreness and eardrum swelling. The doctor prescribed the exact, correct antibiotics needed to clear up the infection I went to my local Walgreens and got my medicine I am taking all of it as directed I am resting now and I am feeling better already! After I explained multiple times why I was at Urgent care the "provider" dismissed everything I told her and told me "What can I do for you here, what can I even do for you at Urgent Care" right off the bat, didn't let me get a word out, and didn't even take the time to explain everything. Rude lady (glasses and short brown wavy hair)at urgent care receptionist side this morning at 9:00am. All I did was ask a basic question regarding how long is the wait. Right off the bat she has attitude "there ARE other people ahead of you!" I responded of course, with "I totally understand and I can see that. All I did was ask how long would the wait be!" I didn't ask to cut in front of others. After we filled out the form on the clip board my daughter stood there waiting for her to respond which she never did. Just ignored her. I called and scheduled an appointment for 3:45pm for my 5 year old daughter who needed to be seen urgently. They had us wait until 4:15pm to tell us they had a room ready. This doctor was rude, unprofessional and not friendly . My son went to see him , he accused of having BO, my son takes 2 showers a day!! What kind of doctor treats he's patients that way. I've herd that this doctor is a "milker" he will see you and then ask you to come back in a week or 2 weeks later to go over your blood tests results! My Doctor gives me the order and then asked me do the blood test and come back in a month. Even more later if he or she sees there is no hurry. No wonder he has a 2.5 review. read more

Turn out into the parking lot is a little bit tricky but. I really do like this office. I had chosen this office back in 2022 because it was new, and the primary care staff had more open availability relative to Long Beach offices. Primary care is compassionate and is diligent about listening to the concerns. Urgent care is efficient can quickly help. Staff has always been professional and easy to get along with as long as you are on time. If appointments run late, they communicate that if they run early, you get taken early. You can make your appointments online on the mychart app or over the phone. There was one time that I did call, and there weren't available appointments readily, and I was offered a telehealth appointment appropriate for my situation. Things were taken care of, and at the end of th is what matters. read more

More people come in after me and I go wait outside because there aren't any seats left. About an hour later, 12:45, I go back inside and ask how much longer. The lobby is empty. I didn't receive a phone call or text. They say I am next. It is now 1:25. Still waiting. They took my copay upfront otherwise I would have just left. My husband and I are employees of memorial care and this is the closest urgent care provided by our insurance. My toddler has been here at least 4-5 times and each time, there was only 1 provider available hence the longer wait hours (at least 1 hour) you'd think with appointments and walk ins (they do look incredibly busy all the time we come here) they'd have more than 1 provider scheduled. My husband pays the premium on our insurance and it takes out a hefty amount every paycheck, the least they can do is improve their services for their patients needing URGENT care. My daughter and I both came here as patients and somehow our "records" didnt show at least twice so they had me fill out another 10 page paperwork only to find out that our records were there by the time I was done.-- so inconvenient when you're already tending to a sick child. Another time we went, I asked the front desk if we needed to settle a co-pay to which she answered "no, you're good" and to my surprise, the next time we came in (my daughter was sick twice in a month) -- the front desk told me I had to settle last time's visit and today's which caught me off guard- why is no one reading these things carefully? -- records and co-pay??? After having a negative experience with the Anaheim location, I am glad that I rescheduled my lab appointment with this location in Cypress. I am not going to lie, there were a few hiccups regarding the labs I had to take because the Anaheim location failed to communicate that I did not take my labs and that I had rescheduled. This cause confusion at the Cypress location. Nonetheless, the staff at the Cypress location definitely made up for it. I believe my phlebotomist was beyond exceptional. I believe her name was Amanda. After explaining the situation to her and my experience at the Anaheim location, she went above and beyond to ensure that I did not have to reschedule my appointment, etc. The problem was that it showed that I had already taken my labs but in reality I did not. They treated him horribly because they were in a rush to get to lunch Dr forgot to order the test she told him she would, but she was sitting right there in her office. I took my 6yr old son in today for an eye infection. We arrived about 12:30pm and were greeted by the office staff of one. I let her know that my worm had an eye infection and needed to be treated. I also stated that this was a cash visit, and asked when he could be seen. The office was completely empty, yet she told me the wait would be over an hour . I said ok, and that we would come back from our hotel in 1 hour. Then she told me if I leave , I lose my spot and that was policy . I had my 3 small kids and waiting for over an hour there was not an option. I asked to speak with her supervisor, the Physician's assistant( not Dr.) came out and also said he could NOT help my son. I asked why and said , " I'm on lunch" . I'm okay with lunches, but why wouldn't they just lock the door? Ir put up a sign.- I asked the office staff why she didn't communicate that with me, and she stated that she was not allowed to . Regardless, communication is everything. Unfortunately the estimated wait times online are WAY off. We brought our 5 year old here who was having horrible ear pain all night. It was the weekend, our doc was closed. We decided to try out this urgent care because the wait time indicated 10 minutes. I understand that can change at times for a variety of reasons, however we weren't called back until almost 2 hours later. I understand often there are long waits at urgent care, but they should not be advertising such short times, if so, I would have found another facility to use or planned accordingly. read more

I am typically not one to write reviews, but the expectational service I experienced compelled me to share my experience. My daughter dislocated her knee last night, and I scheduled an appointment for 10:00 am today. To my amazement, we were in and out of the office with X-rays and knee brace by 10:45 am. The Doctor and ALL staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and extremely fast. They provided thorough care, making sure my daughter was comfortable every step of the way. Previously, we had gone to the ER where we were told we would have a wait of over five hours. The efficiency and care at Memorial Urgent Care were beyond comparison. The night side nurses were unfriendly and seemed to rush through my son's examination. They were impatient with my child and seemed annoyed.

I have been a patient since they were located on Katella and Knott, almost twe years. it's almost impossible to see my primary doctor if it has been more than a year since last visit. The doctors are very good but you can't leave a message for your doctor, you have to leave messages with the doctor's assistant but doctor never gets messages. I was there in September to see doctor Gross and her assistant Judy would not give my messages to Doctor Gross and she never called my back. follow up care is no longer a priority. my healthcare decisions were left to the assistant. This is in place to avoid the wait time you would normally have if you were to just show up. I secured my arrival time so to avoid the normal long urgent care wait.
